The hotel's location on Ctrip's map is incorrect. It's not directly on Nevsky Prospekt, but rather on a wider side street off Nevsky Prospekt, with cobblestone roads on either side and a broad pedestrian walkway in the middle (the entrance is about 100m from Nevsky Prospekt). Despite this, the location is excellent, as it's close to attractions like Kazan Cathedral, the Church of the Savior on Spilled Blood, and the Winter Palace. The hotel's exterior is currently undergoing renovations (and it's not just this hotel; the entire area has scaffolding for facade work). Because of this, room windows cannot be opened, and there's no air conditioning, though fans are provided. We stayed for 4 nights. On the first night, we were in a room on the right side of the corridor. With the outdoor temperature at 10 degrees Celsius, the indoor temperature felt at least 25 degrees or more, and the bathroom was even hotter. We had the fan on all night, but it was really uncomfortable. On the second day, we informed the front desk that the room was too hot and asked for a solution. The hotel agreed to switch our room. Since the new room they offered was slightly larger and on the opposite side (the left side of the corridor), they asked us to pay an additional 800 rubles per night. As staying in the original room was unbearable, we had no choice but to agree. The subsequent 3 nights were much more comfortable, and we didn't even need the fan, but that was when the outdoor temperature was only 10 degrees Celsius. Due to the ongoing renovations, the hotel breakfast currently offers a choice of 1 out of 3 set meals, along with coffee, bread, and fruit.

They let us check in an hour early, which was a very pleasant surprise! 😊 The room was good and well-equipped with everything you need: bathrobes, slippers, toothbrushes, a kettle, coffee, and tea. However, the cleaning before our arrival wasn't thorough. There were black hairs on the bathroom floor, which was a bit disappointing. Daily cleaning was provided, and the water, coffee, and tea were replenished every day. The breakfast was excellent, but if you arrive around 10 AM, finding a seat might be a challenge. Sometimes we were asked to wait 20 minutes because it was fully booked. I popped into the beauty salon on the ground floor to get my hair styled for an event. My hair was already washed and wet. I just asked them to dry and style it with a hairdryer. I have a bob above my shoulders. They charged 3500 (Ruble), even though the price list indicated a different amount. I didn't bother to dispute it as I was really short on time. Overall, I liked the hotel and think I'll return again.

We stayed for two days around our wedding, and everything was magnificent. The staff was incredibly responsive; we requested a larger room with a terrace, and they accommodated our wish. Upon check-in, we were greeted with a lovely complimentary dessert and a bottle of Prosecco in our room, which was an incredibly pleasant surprise. The bed was soft and very comfortable, ensuring we had excellent sleep. The room itself was spacious, and we could even order breakfast to our terrace, which offered an impressive view of St. Isaac's Cathedral. Speaking of breakfast, it was delicious and diverse, featuring desserts, salmon, vegetables, blinis, caviar, and Prosecco. You could also order à la carte. Our room was 537, one of those with large terraces and a direct view of the cathedral, making it perfect for wedding or any other photography.

Clean, neat and tidy room equipped with cooking equipment, hair dryer, clothes iron, usb charging ports and other useful amenities for a comfortable stay. The bathroom is likewise neat and tidy, with a towel dryer, sufficient lighting and personal care products available . The staff was very helpful and conversational in English, the signages and announcements are translated into English and Chinese which makes it a very hospitable place for non-Russian speaking travelers. The hotel itself is situated about 15 minutes away by car from Pulkovo Airport and in walking distance of buses which bring you to the metro station/St Petersburg city center. Across the hotel, there is a supermarket (Pyaterochka, opened until 11pm) and some small restaurants. Definitely worth it!

The hotel is in a great location, 15 minutes walk from the Mariinsky Theater, very convenient to walk back after watching a show, and five minutes walk from St. Isaac's Cathedral The room is large, with a balcony and a beautiful night view. The room service is superb, with a welcome gift and chocolates for the turndown service, which are delicious The front desk and concierge speak English The breakfast is very rich It is a five-star hotel, my favorite hotel in St. Petersburg

I really enjoyed this hotel. The room was clean and tidy, with a classic charm. The breakfast was rich and delicious, and the front desk staff were proactive and enthusiastic. Their English was very fluent, which is a rarity among front desk staff in Russia. The hotel is not far from the city center or attractions, making its location quite convenient. I love the hotel and all of St. Petersburg – the endless beautiful scenery, museums, cathedrals, and the Neva River… The only thing to note is that the hotel name on Trip.com seemed to be different from the name displayed at the hotel entrance. I actually recognized it by the outdoor photos when I checked in.

Overall, not bad, but: 1. Soundproofing of the risers is terrible (we stayed in room 320). This means that at any time of the day or night you can hear your neighbors upstairs flushing the toilet and/or taking a shower. As for me, this is a flaw in the renovation (saving on soundproofing) 2. We didn't find out right away that the breakfast included scrambled eggs, and not from the staff at breakfast, but from another guest who ordered it and it was prepared for him. There is no information about this, it is not written anywhere. Otherwise, everything is fine, friendly staff, comfortable mattresses, new plumbing. But the above-mentioned shortcomings, especially the first one, are unlikely to prompt us to stay here again.

It's rather a dormitory for university professors, rather than a hotel. Still, quite a decent place to stay in the town.

Персонал вежливый, старается помочь. В номере чисто и тепло. Номер был с балкончиком и выходил на гангутскую улицу, но с него был виден летний сад. Минибар платный. Завтраки хороши, лучше брать номер с завтраком, т.к. иначе 1900 на одного. В подвале СПА (можно заранее заказать массаж), хамам хороший (кроме хамама и душа ничего нет). Телевизор может показывать изображение с телефона, эти настройки не очевидно спрятаны.

Beautiful hotel with an excellent location. It's very convenient to walk to all the main attractions. The rooms are nice and comfortable. The only thing that surprised me was the impression that there isn't a consistent standard in guest service: some guests receive a Wi-Fi password card at check-in, others don't; some get a coupon for drinks at the restaurant, others don't; complimentary water is sometimes brought to the room, sometimes not. Personally, I didn't receive any upon arrival. Housekeeping also doesn't always keep up; I couldn't figure out the towel and linen change schedule over my 9-night stay. The breakfast at the hotel restaurant is good. You can also have dinner there in the evening, and hotel guests receive a 10% discount. Overall, if you don't dwell on the minor details, I was satisfied with my stay. It was a pleasant surprise to receive a birthday greeting: a dessert during breakfast and a festive pillowcase.
