Hotels With Spa in Bagmati, Nepal

Excellent location, within walking distance to the Thamel area. It's close enough to be convenient but far enough to be quiet. We were offered warm drinks during check-in, which was a nice touch, especially in winter. The room was very clean and quiet, and the hotel thoughtfully prepared a cake for us. The laundry service was also very convenient and efficient. All the staff were very helpful. The gentleman who helped with our luggage even assisted us in identifying our car by its license plate (as all license plates here use Arabic numerals), and the front desk staff helped us book bus tickets.

Hotel is in good location, staff was friendly who checked in us. I loved the room as they were quit big and comfortable, had an air conditioning in the room too. Shower facilities was good but could be better, plus point hot shower was available and bonus bath tub was available as well. Kettle was provided to us with drinking water, could be better if tea and coffee was available but staff was superb as they provided us with tea and coffee on request. Overall, it was excellent for me, in comparison to price, room sizes, location and friendliness of the staff. I even recommended my friend to stay as I was there.

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel during my trip to Nepal. The quality exceeded my expectations in every way. The room was spacious, comfortable, and impeccably clean, providing a perfect retreat after long days of exploring. The location is absolutely fantastic – right in the city center, which made it incredibly convenient to walk around and shop for local goods in town. What I particularly loved was the proximity to several Chinese restaurants nearby, all offering delicious food at very reasonable prices. The staff truly made our experience special. They were friendly. They were kind enough to store our luggage while we went on our EBC trek.

The hotel staff is very courteous and the food at the hotel is delicious. It's located very close to Lord Pashupatinath temple, hardly 5 minutes walking distance. Very close to the airport as well.

The room is very spacious, but the gym equipment is not in good working condition. As for the bathroom, I would like to point out that the towels are quite rough in texture.

Hotel dom Himalaya in center city of Kathmandu, big room and clean , quiet and breakfest every morning , the staff very helpful exactly the receptionist ARPANA always smiling and speaking good English. I recommend this hotel.

Отличный отель, расположение в самом центре, но в глубине улицы, поэтому шума с улицы не было. При этом слышимость из коридора довольно высокая, но в номере есть беруши. Очень чисто, полотенца, халаты, постельное белье - все идеально белое. Воды в номер дают очень много, это плюс. Завтрак на 12 этаже с панорамным видом, красиво, приятно. Завтрак в целом нормальный, кофе неплохой, но выпечка так себе, среднего качества. Персонал милейший, очень вежливые и приветливые. Вообще забронировала этот отель в первую очередь из-за традиционного непальского стиля и не пожалела - внутри красиво и приятно.

I come back over and over because I love this Hotel so much. The gym is the best gym in Kathmandu. The view from the pool and the Nylgiri Restaurant is spectactular. Every room I have stayed in has an amazing view out over the city because the rooms are multiple stories up in the building above the shopping center.

Clean. Nice selection of breakfast. The concierge was professional and helpful. The valet staff was very helpful with the taxis. The reception desk staff was not quite familiar with his work. 1. Couldn’t find my booking. 2. Miscalculated the number of nights to stay 3. Didn’t realize the room was prepaid and was going to charge again. But he acknowledged his mistakes.

Nice Old Hotel, Great Staff with few needs to improve. Swimming pool is totally disappointment. Better to shut down, than keep running and not swimmable, waist of energy. The water is dirty, no star at all. The lobby, the room and Ghurka bar are still great. 2 power shutdowns in 1 day, I believe they are struggling with power shortages due to dark lounges. Breakfast was so so, coffee or tea should be not a challenge to serve first, sometimes took half of meal before they come. Many Tables are not stable and aligned, egg can easily roll over to other side. Atleast 3 tables on my experience. Room is comfortable, nice bed and always fresh linen. Only noisy from AC , maintenance team came twice on my room to fix, though transfer was offered on my last 2 days. Managers should not standing in buffet line, either they should help the line staffs or directing the team, talking business in public is not of our guests concern. Front desk Trainee, has good presence, I thought first he is manager. A lot can be improved and polished, the hotel has a great potential, nice design, great facilities and great staffs. I wish that management should look all themselves and review those small details.
