"Overall a pleasant staying experience here.
Convenient access to Onsen Spa as well as to restaurant/mall, Sora dining experience is fantastic too.
The only feedback is that the breakfast buffet option is quite limited, perhaps can further improve on this."

"Our family really enjoyed our stay at Sunway Resort Hotel. The location is absolutely fantastic, right next to Sunway Lagoon Water Park, which made getting to the rides and slides easy and fun for the kids. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, with beautiful views of either the lake or the park, and the beds are incredibly comfy. The hotel also offers a variety of dining options across its numerous restaurants, and the room service was quick and friendly. Housekeeping was excellent and done daily, and the public facilities were clean and family-friendly.
This hotel is an ideal choice for families looking for a mix of comfort and entertainment. The service was professional and friendly, and the staff were always ready to help. We will definitely be back on our next visit to Kuala Lumpur. I highly recommend it for anyone wanting a pleasant and comfortable stay with their children."

Very Good
AAnonymous UserThis is a large and luxurious hotel. The breakfast was excellent, and the rooms were spacious. Some of the furniture in the room seemed a bit dated and could use a refresh. Overall, it's a great value for money hotel, and I'm satisfied.

AAnonymous UserThis is a very new hotel, located in the city center, and it doesn't take much time to get to the attractions. The pool is beautiful, an infinity pool with a Jacuzzi. The only downside is that we originally booked two rooms, but the hotel arranged them on different floors, which was very inconvenient. We ended up having to pay extra to upgrade our rooms to be on the same floor. But even then, they were at opposite ends of the hallway, east and west.😅
GGuest UserStayed 2 weekday nights at Monkey Canopy Resort and overall had an enjoyable stay. It's quite a remote drive on the outskirts of KL, but the kids were excited the moment we arrived. The resort is spacious, beautiful, and even has EV charging stations.
Check-in was self-service. While we were guided to the kiosk, the staff wasn't particularly welcoming and did not provide information such as breakfast timings or the WiFi password. With few guests around, a little more assistance would have been appreciated.
The buggy ride to the room was fun and the buggy drivers were friendly. Waiting time was reasonable, usually under 10 minutes. The room itself was spacious and clean. One thing to note is that there are about 10 steps leading to the room with no ramp, so carrying luggage can be a challenge.
Breakfast was decent but fairly standard, with nasi lemak, noodles, eggs, ham, and bread. The selection remained mostly the same over the two mornings.
The resort grounds are huge with plenty of activities available, although most come at an additional cost. Despite a few service shortcomings, we enjoyed our stay and had a great family getaway.
GGuest UserOverall, the room was decent. They offer airport pick-up and drop-off, but you need to book in advance. We forgot to book and, being unfamiliar with the area, ended up taking a taxi which cost around 60 yuan. There are small local Malaysian restaurants about a 5-minute walk away, which were pretty good. The only issue was crossing the road, as there were no traffic lights or sidewalks. The hotel has a swimming pool, but we arrived late and it closed at 10 PM. The service was quite good, and the room was a decent size too. All in all, it was an okay experience, and I'd consider staying here again if needed.

MMd AshariWe’ve stayed here few times and every time it’s not a disappointment. Love the hotel rooms, breakfast spread the amenities, shopping and the convenience of having everything under one roof. The journey from airport to hotel and vise verse wasn’t that long. Took about ~40mins with good traffic. The grab price still manageable. The breakfast was immaculate. The rooms is spacious and the stuffs are helpfull. All in all LOVING IT.
GGuest UserPros:
The room comes with a balcony, great for enjoying the views and taking sunset photos.
There's a garden downstairs for walks, and the air is very fresh.
Toothbrushes, toothpaste, and bottled water are provided, and the cleaning staff are very efficient.
The hallway is relatively quiet, and the service is excellent.
There's a golf course, perfect for those who enjoy playing to pass the time.
Cons:
The overall room decor is a bit dated.
There's no overhead light; lighting relies solely on floor lamps and bedside lamps.
It feels a bit like an older 4-5 star hotel in China.
The shower is in a bathtub, which can be slippery.
Upon check-in, they requested a 250 MYR deposit plus a 'tourism tax' of 7 MYR per night.
I've stayed in many hotels in Malaysia, and this is the first time I've been asked for a deposit and this particular tax.
Tips:
Bring your own slippers.
The central air conditioning is very strong, so you might want to bring a long-sleeved pajama top.
The front desk informed me that check-out takes 15 minutes (first time I've encountered such a long wait; I was a bit emotional during the interaction, but it ended up being processed in less than 5 minutes. Still, I recommend allocating sufficient time).
I wouldn't specifically book this hotel again unless it was for convenience to UKM.
Lle_reve13Mixed Experience: Friendly Staff but Needs Significant Maintenance and Better Housekeeping
Arrival & Service
While the staff we interacted with during our stay were mostly friendly and polite, our initial impression was quite poor. When we first arrived at the property, there was absolutely no one available to attend to us or welcome us. A prompt greeting goes a long way, so this was a frustrating start to the visit.
Room Condition & Upkeep
Unfortunately, the room itself left a lot to be desired. The furniture was notably creaky, and the finishes throughout the room felt very worn out and tired. The lack of upkeep made the space feel neglected and certainly did not reflect the standard I would expect from a Mövenpick property.
Cleanliness
The biggest letdown was the bathroom. The toilet area definitely could have been cleaner, and there was visible grime on the walls, which was quite off-putting. Cleanliness is a bare minimum expectation, and this fell short.
Overall Summary
While the pleasant demeanor of the staff is a definite positive, the lack of attention upon arrival combined with the poorly maintained and inadequately cleaned room means I left disappointed. The hotel is in desperate need of a refresh and better quality control regarding housekeeping.
