"We booked a Silver studio, and it was spacious enough for three of us. The kitchenette was handy, especially for heating milk in the microwave. The breakfast selection was quite comprehensive (milk, cereal, baguettes, cakes, whole-wheat bread, pastries, fruit, scrambled eggs...). Freshly squeezed orange juice had to be requested from a waiter. I particularly appreciated the vegetable salad and the two types of soup, which were perfect for a Chinese palate. There were also three Moroccan flatbreads (staple food) that I noticed being sold on the streets, so perhaps that's what locals typically eat for breakfast – I found them just okay. The cleaning lady tidied up daily, and during our 5-night stay, she 'automatically' changed the sheets and pillowcases on the third day. On the lobby level, walking towards the gym, there are many spaces available, including small meeting rooms, which I suspect most guests don't know about. I used the gym a few times and had it all to myself each time. Another lesser-known fact is that bus line L005 stops right outside the hotel and goes directly to various attractions/beaches along Miami Avenue, for example, for 5 MAD (it's best to have exact change for tickets), you can reach Aïn Diab beach, which is beautiful 👍. A few things that could be improved: the bathroom facilities looked a bit old, and the shower door had a minor issue and didn't close properly."

"The Occidental Hotel Medina is a gem of a hotel. We needed lodging on short notice, and they absolutely delivered!
Our room was large and airy, with a balcony on a quiet courtyard. The bed, bath, linens were great. The restaurant is good and reasonably priced. Get the octopus.
But the star of the show is the staff. In particular, Meryem is the best! She knew everything we needed to make our two weeks totally enjoyable. We are experienced travelers, and we truly appreciate her efforts.
In short, a great hotel at an amazing price. Go!"

"A beautiful hotel, well designed and well placed to get to the main places to visit in Casablanca. The staff on reception and the concierge were delightful, smiley and cheerful always- we really appreciated it.
The dining area staff we encountered were not as cheery or helpful. The breakfast was mediocre, a meagre selection and not appealing. We didn’t like the fact that we had to wait to be served drinks in the morning, hot water, tea and coffee should be on tap for multiple visits during breakfast. The person behind the drinks bar was slow to take and make the orders and not particularly helpful- some cafetières or tea and coffee dispensers would remedy this. The room itself had a few cosmetic imperfections and could do with a deep clean, including the walls. We were surprised to see a lack of bidet showers in the bathroom, which was inconvenient and not in keeping with the culture we were expecting.
Finally, the water went off a couple of times and the lifts were not in working on one occasion, both were rectified fairly quickly, but it was an inconvenience as we were not able to complete our morning ablutions."

"Before our departure to Morocco, our return flight got cancelled by the airline, so we had to book an additional day to stay at Barcelo Anfa, which was the same hotel we were scheduled to stay at from the tour company. Luckily, Trip.com helped and we got a very good deal. We had an extra day to explore Casablanca and continued to enjoy Barcelo Anfa’s clean and spacious room, friendly staff, and convenient location, especially the traditional Moroccan live entertainment at the lounge. "The hotel is luxurious and deserves its rating, but I have a major concern that's frankly shameful and scandalous. For a hotel of this size and luxury in a Muslim country like the Kingdom of Morocco, it's an absolute disgrace that prayer mats are not provided in the rooms. This is truly scandalous and a betrayal of Moroccan identity, to be honest. You provide alcohol and gambling, and yet you can't provide prayer mats?!"

My stay at Sofitel Casablanca Tour Blanche was extremely disappointing and far below the standards expected from a Accor luxury hotel.
Service was unprofessional from check-in, breakfast quality and hygiene were poor, and even simple orders took far too long.
Most seriously, personal belongings were taken from my room, and the hotel failed to conduct any proper investigation or provide follow-up despite multiple complaints.
Overall, poor management and serious security concerns. I would not recommend this hotel.

Only one thing. PILLOWS. The worst pillows I have ever slept on. Basically they are made of textile waste. No joke. It's such a shame. From my point of view – it's disrespectful towards customers.
Good things:
1. Location. Only 10 minutes from airport.
2. Breakfast was PERFECT. Best hotel breakfast in Marocco. (*unfortunately, their branch at Casa Oasis doesn't have a good breakfast)

Guest UserWe didn’t have a good stay at the Novotel in Mohammedia, there was no hot water on arrival and there was obviously a hotel wide issue, but the reception said they’d sent someone up and we needed to run the taps for 10 minutes! Well that didn’t work and there was no hot water in the morning either, even they promised it would be back by the morning, so freezing cold shower. No remote control for the TV, the blackout blinds had tears and holes in them (see photo), the carpets were tired and marked (photo) and the windows were absolutely filthy (photo). This was billed as a “superior room with park view” - you could see the park with the window open, but with it closed the dirt pretty much obscured it. We booked a massage but cancelled as how can you have a massage without a shower? The breakfast was very average. The staff were fine, they are up against it with this building, but they constantly asked us to give them reviews by name. The pool is tiny, the bar was quite lively and again nice staff. For a modern Novotel this was a pretty bad experience.

I booked a twin room with a city view, and when I checked in, I asked the front desk for a room with a better view. To my delight, I was upgraded to a sea view room! From the room, I could see the Hassan II Mosque and the ocean, which was a fantastic view. However, there were some issues with the facilities. The shower drain was severely clogged, and there was only one bathrobe in a double room, and only one mouthwash cup in the bathroom. Since I was only staying for one night, I didn't bother to complain. It felt like the hotel's hygiene and service weren't up to standard. I hope my review helps them improve their service quality.

YUIf you like niche travel, if you want to slow down your life. Come to Morocco, come to Oualidia, come to this hotel. Facing the sea, forgetting to worry together. The staff is also very welcoming and can also have a sauna and massage. The people here are very simple and the seafood is very cheap.

The hotel has a great location, within walking distance to everything. The furniture and decor are a bit dated. Overall, the interior is interesting, with a Moroccan style. Breakfasts are hearty, and the omelet is delicious. The front desk staff are responsive, and you can leave your luggage after check-out.
