The moment you step into our hotel, you’ll forget the hustle and bustle of daily life— even the fact that you're in the very heart of the Ureshino hot spring town will fade away. Surrounded by tranquil cedar groves, our inn offers a peaceful and elegant atmosphere. The building was designed by the late Mr. Junzo Yoshimura, a member of the Japan Art Academy, who was also involved in the basic design of the new Imperial Palace in Tokyo. We aspire to be a ryokan where every detail reflects thoughtful hospitality, gracefully suited to the emotionally rich design of our space. Since our founding in 1925 (Taisho 14), we have held this wish close to our hearts and have continuously worked to fulfill it.

"A very good family-friendly hotel in Nice with a great location! Dinner and breakfast were fabulous, we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Thank you!"

"My stay at Ureshino Onsen Yoshidaya Uchiroji Hondori (also known as Yadoya Uchiroji Hondori) was a tale of two extremes in the charming hot spring town of Ureshino, Saga Prefecture. The hotel was modern Japanese-style with smart check-in system. The twin room was spacious, impeccably clean, and exude serene comfort, making it a perfect retreat. The private onsen facilities truly shine— It was a free slot with 40 mins, which could be booked once via QR Code at the room. Ureshino's famous sodium-rich hot springs, renowned as one of Japan's top three for beautifying the skin, deliver silky-smooth water that leaves you feeling rejuvenated. However, the meal plan was a major letdown. I sent an email to the hotel to confirm my booking and stated I did not eat beef before. The customer service replied I had to pay extra per person in order to change the meat option. For over JPY 38,000 per night including breakfast and dinner, we anticipated premium kaiseki cuisine or traditional served Japanese dinner set. Instead, only a bento box with cold salad and an underwhelming beef and egg pie that felt mismatched for the price. Tragically, my husband experienced vomiting shortly after, likely food-related, which overshadowed our trip. And the breakfast was also disappointing, which was only cold sandwiches with a cup of tea or milk. Thus, I strongly recommend the hotel clearly states the exact contents of dinner and breakfast plans on booking sites—including detailed menus or photos—and offers flexible options, such as plan changes or alternatives, if guests fall ill from the food. This transparency and adaptability would greatly enhance the experience and prevent frustration."

All rooms are luxurious suites featuring Takeo hot springs. Indulge in exquisite kaiseki cuisine made with local ingredients unique to this region. Savor the pride of Saga’s rice-producing area with Japanese sake in the lounge. Enjoy the open-air natural hot spring spa with views of the mountains, and experience the ultimate sauna surrounded by nature. Relax and unwind in a serene atmosphere. Our hot spring inn offers a stay that leads to “recovery” beyond inspiration and excitement.

"The hot spring temperature was just right, making it easy to get in, and it was great to be able to relax in the in-room bath! The room was also incredibly clean and stylish, and most importantly, spacious! It was also very practical and simply standard! The meals, both dinner and breakfast, were both visually stunning and delicious♪ Since my only option for a relaxing trip was to enjoy a hot spring, I was very satisfied. It seemed like there weren't many guests staying that day, but that made it feel like we had the place to ourselves, just as a family, and the staff were all very kind and pleasant. For those who want to really relax without a packed schedule, I recommend the hotel, as you can enjoy the spa and gym to the fullest! However, I did think it was a bit lacking that there were only two chairs and two hair dryers in the bathroom..."

All guest rooms feature 100% natural flowing hot spring water. A relaxing inn where you can fully enjoy Ureshino tea and its beautifying hot spring. Newly opened in October 2023, Ureshino 88 aims to be a healing hot spring inn where guests can restore both body and mind through tea and onsen. Ureshino's most renowned local specialty is its tea. Every day, local tea farmers personally serve freshly whisked Ureshino tea, allowing guests to experience its charm to the fullest. The inn also features Ureshino Onsen, one of Japan’s top three beautifying hot springs. All 36 rooms are equipped with private baths using 100% natural hot spring water. The large public bath includes a tea-aroma löyly sauna, offering a deeply rejuvenating experience. As a hot spring inn rooted in Ureshino, we fully embrace and showcase the local values of Saga, including its cuisine, crafts, and climate, and offer a variety of stay plans.

"Hotel: New and clean facilities. A hotel shuttle can be booked to and from the hotel. The driver mentioned that the developer is the same company that built Ureshino Onsen Station, so they want to heavily develop tourism in the area. Ureshino has 17 hot springs, and this hotel occupies two of them. The water at this hotel is slightly slippery, but not as slippery as in Takeo Onsen. We didn't choose to have dinner at the hotel. There are Italian restaurants and izakayas nearby, and a supermarket is about a 15-minute walk away. The breakfast is plentiful. What I liked most was that each room has a private bath with hot spring water. A minor hiccup: When traveling to Ureshino Onsen, I started from Hakata, then transferred to the Shinkansen at Takeo Onsen. It turns out that the IC card cannot be used to exit the gate at Ureshino Onsen Shinkansen Station; a ticket is required. Furthermore, the IC card cannot be cancelled at the same station; the procedure must be completed at Takeo Station for the return trip. It is highly recommended to buy physical tickets if transferring at Takeo Onsen."

Carbonated hot spring. Squid and Saga Beef. Amusement arcade. A hotel with warm baths for real spa lovers.

"Suitable for families with parents; the rooms are spacious, and although the location is a bit out of the way, there's free short-distance parking available, so it's not a problem. The onsen (hot spring) is free for guests, and it's segregated by gender. There are various temperature pools, both indoor and outdoor, plus a sauna. There's also a guesthouse within the hotel grounds. The prices are reasonable. One thing to get used to is that you store your shoes at the entrance, then hand the shoe key to the front desk to exchange for a room key. When leaving the hotel, you exchange the room key for a shoe key. This process prevents people from wearing shoes inside the hotel, but it can be a little inconvenient if you frequently need to enter and exit."

My trip to Karatsu was decided at the last minute, so I made a reservation on the same day. When they realized I was a woman, they made sure no men were staying in the two adjacent rooms. I had only planned on a room-only stay, but I was pleasantly surprised to find sandwiches and coffee included. They also informed me about the express bus service before my departure. I had a very pleasant stay. Next time, I'd like to try the large public bath.

It is a quiet landscape that seems to be nestled in the forest, and the hotel on the hill is majestic, as if it boasts its age and experience. All the staff are friendly and friendly I didn't have a dinner reservation, but when I asked, they happily obliged and had a kaiseki meal in a room with my name written on it. I ate Japanese specialty food. All of the food was delicious and overflowing with class. The view of the river from the spacious tatami room is exquisite. The early morning buffet breakfast was also a delicacy among delicacies. All of the vegetables were carefully prepared, and the clear tofu soup, a local specialty, was also a delicacy. Of course, the fluffy white rice and miso soup were the best. There were a lot of things, but the liver and taste were the best. It was a ryokan hotelu that I wanted to go back to.
