We contacted the hotel the day before to arrange a car to Lake Toba, and the front desk staff, Arik, was incredibly nice. He kept track of our trip throughout and even upgraded our room for free that evening. A great experience!

We looked forward to a restful stay at the resort. However, the guests in the rooms next to us were inconsiderate and rude. It didn't help that the room's soundproofing wasn't great either. On the first night, they checked in late and made so much noise that it disrupted our sleep. On the second night, the group kept ringing our doorbell looking for their friends and playing loud music and talking late into the night. When we informed the front desk, they said they will speak to the guests to keep the noise down. However the noise continued. When we escalated the issue during checkout, the duty manager said she could not do anything about it. I am sure the noisy group had disturbed the other guests staying at the resort too. Furthermore, I don't understand what's the point of choosing a non-smoking room when the guests next door are smoking throughout the night with the cigarette smoke wafting into our room, because all rooms do not have aircon and hence not fully shuttered. We called the front desk to complain but once against their hands were tied.
If you were attracted to the activities that they offered online, please do not place much hope in it. For the two nights we stayed, they said the yoga and singing bowls classes were not being offered. Not that it's full but it just wasn't taking place despite it being a daily activity. We also needed to check out early at 630am but breakfast starts at 7am. Some hotels with better service will ask if guests would like them to pack a small take out box, but this place didn't suggest that, and when I asked if they could do that, they said no.
The worst part was when their WhatsApp to me as a guest got my name wrong, seriously do they not check their records first?? For an extremely expensive hotel by Indonesian standards, this place is super disappointing. It has a great view but everything else just spoilt the trip. Sure they offered us a return 2 night stay for our inconveniences, but as an overseas tourists why would I return again to Lake Toba that soon when I can travel elsewhere, and why would I even want to stay here again.

I wish I could say it was ideal, because the hotel has the potential for that - but unfortunately it's not exactly that. The location is super, the building is what you can expect from an ex-Radisson hotel, but the problems with the cleanliness and the very aged bed linen left me a far from perfect first impression. Plus, at 4pm they still didn't have my room ready and asked me to wait 10-15 minutes. After escalating the problem to the manager I got a better room and from there on everything was OK, but the welcome was not at the level I expected.

Guest UserThe location is excellent, especially for shopping and getting around Bukit Bintang. The hotel is elegant, the room was comfortable and clean, and the staff were professional and welcoming throughout my stay.
Service was generally very good, although there are still a few small areas that could be improved to make the overall experience truly 5-star.
Nevertheless, I enjoyed my stay and would definitely consider returning again. A solid 4-star experience from me.

Michelle TKKThe room was comfortable overall, but I was disappointed to find that one of the towels had visible stains on it. Towels should be clean and spotless for every guest. Housekeeping should inspect them more carefully and replace any stained towels before the room is assigned. I hope the hotel improves its quality control in this area.
If you’d like, I can also make it more concise, more formal, or more strongly worded.

ItchyButtA place that has passed its prime...A decent place for the price paid. No complaints about that.. Great superb location to everywhere.. between 2 hospitals ...and walkaway from malls.. still recommend to take a trike or grab a car .
About the hotel...
Receptionists were friendly and attentive
2 last elevator to reach floor
Rooms are super spacious a king and a twin
Have 2 toilets... So no need to scream and shout for a spot
But sad thing...
Place is poorly maintained
Pillows past their shelf life.
Toilet floor are slimy... It's a dry toilet I know but cleaning it with water and the smell.. uhh don't get me to start.. sewer smell plus pee smell.. uhhh not a fan.. have to buy moth ball and fresher to make it smell good
House keeping... Shall not say much.. not the best. Don't know if they sweep or mop the floors ..
So if location is a thing.. a good place to stay if u are not fussy. A decent place that's pasted it's prime

Guest UserThe breakfast menu was different during our 6N stay there. Very much appreciated. The hotel has Martha Tilaar spa on Level 2 which was an extra bonus. The happy puppy ktv place is also located just beside. Which is also good for family hangout.
The hotel didn’tprovide us with bottled water but with a flask and kettle instead. There are water dispensers along the corridor, easily accessed.
Food and eateries are nearby but not so near. The walk in the evening on the streets can be dangerous too , I was told by locals. Abt 1km away. In all, it’s a good place to stay.

Guest UserThe hotel is comfortable and quiet with great service. The breakfast spread is delicious with many options. The only minor issue might be that since it's an older building, some room amenities like the wardrobe creak a bit, but overall it's good 👍. It remains our go-to hotel whenever we stay in Berastagi... thanks!
