"The room was small, and the surrounding area was rather chaotic. Overall, this Wyndham hotel was just average. It's also quite far from Batumi's main attractions. It's not good value for money and not worth recommending.

"This hotel is good, top-notch for its price. The rooms are clean, and they offered daily cleaning, though we didn't need it. The renovation is decent and quite new. There's a spa, which was a real plus after a long journey, with an additional hammam for 20 Lari per person. The pool and sauna are free.
The staff are very friendly and welcoming, and everyone speaks Russian, which wasn't crucial for us but is a definite bonus.
The view from the window (you don't have to look) is just of the neighboring building, and soundproofing isn't great, but it didn't bother us at all. I recommend it!"

"After watching heads and tails, we decided to stay at this hotel. The price is certainly too high. It is also unclear why it has 5 stars. We arrived in our own car, unloaded ourselves - no one helped. I went and parked myself (as it turned out, in the wrong place). When we asked the reception for help with our suitcases, only then did they come out to pick them up. And then they made a remark to me that I parked in the wrong place, and asked me to repark the car. There is an unpleasant musty smell in the corridor on the floor. There is mold on the ceilings. We go into the room and see blankets on the closet, like a grandmother's in the village. It turns out that the coffee machine in the room is paid!!! At breakfast, the bread was dried out, they did not add juices - we did not have time to make them, margarine instead of butter, they did not have time to clear the tables - everything was covered with plates, as a result, we sat at a dirty table. When cleaning the room, they did not add a tea and coffee set. The beach towels are all washed out, old. At the pool I accidentally stepped on an ashtray full of cigarette butts - most likely from the previous day, because we came in the morning. The toilet is old near the pool, there is a stench, and there is also a queue. I am attaching a photo. This hotel should be given 3 stars. They do not know what service is."

Guest UserExcellent location! This hotel is considered one of the top hotels in Batumi! There's a wide variety at breakfast. The room is very beautiful and spacious. There's a large pool next to the hotel, and the sea is just a couple of minutes' walk away. The service is very good, and the staff are polite and helpful.

Guest UserMy wife and I stayed here from May 3rd to 8th, 2026. It's a good hotel with an excellent location. We had a room with a sea view, which was absolutely the best. The breakfasts were delicious. However, you have to specifically request toothbrushes, and sometimes they forget to bring them. Also, the exhaust fan downstairs makes a constant, loud humming noise.

ChessmasterI have spent there 4 days. Check-in 15:00, rather late. Check-out until 11:00, its early, be ready for that as well. The apartments are on the 4th floor of the Steps building. I have arrived by plane. The time to get from the airport to the apartments building is about 40 minutes by foot. Or you may take a bus, though its unclear to me how you may pay it the bus without Batumi card that I had. The weather was rainy about 75% of time. Its a typical winter in Batumi. The wifi was working in apartments well. The cleaning done was every day or at least you are asked whether you need that or not. You need to wait quite some time until hot water at the shower starts. Due to bad weather my plane was postponed. The host did not help me with dealing with it, he just wanted to take 30$ whilst we agreed previously on 13$ by 1 more night by phone. So I had to figure out my new plane ticket and leave in a hurry.

Guest UserThe arrival experience was very disappointing. I arrived at 12:30 PM, completed the registration, and signed all the required forms. After that, the receptionist simply stared at me awkwardly before asking, ”Do you know that check-in time is 3:00 PM?” I replied, ”Yes, I know.” He then remained silent, leaving me unsure of what to do next. Eventually, I had to say, ”Okay, I'll find my way.”
What disappointed me most was the complete lack of hospitality. There was no offer to store my luggage, no suggestion of a place where I could wait, and not even directions to the lounge. I ended up sitting in the lobby until I approached the Front Desk Supervisor, Polina, who was exceptionally professional. She completely turned the experience around by delivering the level of genuine five-star service I had expected from the beginning.
Another concern was the absence of a concierge service. Even more surprisingly, the receptionist did not seem to know what a ”concierge” is.
My overall ratings:
- Room: 8/10
- Bed: 10/10
- Bathroom: 7/10

Guest UserThe hotel's service is absolutely top-notch. The front desk staff, and especially the Georgian front desk manager, have excellent English. The hotel even sent a welcome email before check-in and offered a welcome dessert upon arrival!
The hotel itself is a former bank, boasting incredibly high ceilings, even taller than those in Moscow hotels.
The location is superb – right in the heart of the Old Town, convenient to restaurants, bars, a casino, fast food, and sculptures.
The top-floor suite is the largest room, featuring a double-suite layout!
The only slight drawback is that the hotel is still in its soft opening phase. The breakfast buffet, while adjusted for guest occupancy, had a somewhat limited selection.

Hotel facilities and booking page are the same. Sea view rooms face the Black Sea. After checking in, a bellman will guide you into the room. The breakfast is rich, and the spa and gym service park are very welcoming. The indoor swimming pool is of mini type. The floor heating in the bathroom was praised, but the water in the bathtub smelled bad.

Very friendly staff.
Indoor and outdoor pools, spacious family room – everything was very good.
However, there were some nitpicks.
The hotel seemed a bit tired. I understand that can happen to anyone, but you still expect top-notch service from a reputable chain hotel. The sink in the room didn't drain properly; we only stayed one day, so we reported it to reception upon checkout. I can't comment on how quickly they fixed it. In the pool, you occasionally step on chipped tiles – not a big deal, but a nitpick. In the morning, you could hear pipes humming somewhere… Generally, if you're picky, you'll notice these kinds of little things everywhere.

Wide sea view, just as pictured. Floor 26, lift was always prompt. Parked at back of Orbit residence in a car park. Used Bolt taxis and scooters to get around Batumi. Scooters fun but taxis actually cheaper. Lots to see and do or you can relax by the sea front, lots of food places, shops, Grand Mall across the road from apartment. Brilliant price when comparing to UK prices. Apartment fully kitted out had everything you would need.
