"I always stay at this hotel when I'm in Barcelona. It's super convenient with the metro and train stations just downstairs, about 100 and 200 meters away respectively. You can get to all the sights and the airport really easily. It's in a proper residential area, and while it might not look as upscale as the Eixample, it feels very safe. There are delicious family-run restaurants nearby, a breakfast spot downstairs (cheaper than the hotel!), and a convenience store. The hotel itself is quite traditional; not super new in terms of decor, but very clean, and the hot water works great. What's really important is that normally in Europe, if you're changing rooms, you can't move your luggage in early and have to repack everything and wait until check-in time. But here, if you just tell the front desk, you can move your bags into the new room the next day – it's brilliant! There's also a small rooftop pool with a pretty nice view. Highly recommend it, ladies! The pictures show the hotel room, the breakfast place downstairs, and a nearby family restaurant (so good 😋)."

"We have been two days in August in this old classic bathroom in the area that passed to belong to a chain about three years ago. Some rooms have been renovated even though not ours. "A short stay for of 2 days was booked with Triip.com for one adult and 2 children under 10, to join us who were booked in a day earlier for three days. Our three day booking was direct with the hotel, half board. The hotel is marked 'adults recommended' and they sure discourage children, by seeking to charge per occupancy rather than simply on a cost per room. The Trip site quite fairly offered the room at the rate for two adults, with children under 12 free, so this is what was paid. Half board was added but at the rate for two adults, which would be greater than the actual hotel rate for one adult and two children, but I was happy to have reserved restaurant secured. Things got messy at check in, the hotel insisting that the room was occupied by three 'persons' as they put it and should therefore be 50% extra, though the room was the same type as the twin we had for two adults. The Hotel also insisted that only breakfast was provided, and tried to argue that the B2B rate from the third party (Trip) was insufficient. I politely pointed out that the discounts provided to third party agents was no concern of the customer, and referred to my booking voucher which clearly stated I had booked a twin room, into which was going 1 adult, two very small children, and that breakfast and dinner was paid for, with the rate for 1 adult being greater than twice the local charge for a child. They were impossible to deal with, and I left the reception angry and upset. I contacted the Trip representative and by that evening it was sorted. Full marks to Trip, zero to the hotel. As for our stay, the hotel is excellent, but with room to improve. Dinner in the Buffet only commences at 8.00, resulting in quite the bunfight if the restaurant is busy. It was on that Thursday, a national holiday, and it was impossible to order wine and beverages after we seated, with a single service person taking orders. We ate our food dry, and finally placed an order for wine and water while eating dessert, some 40 minutes after seating. The same bottleneck occurred the next morning at breakfast, with the four snail paced Nespresso machines totally incapable of dealing with the coffee demands. Worse, all 4 machines overheated and went into 'service mode'. Worse again, these obviously unsuitable barista machines were the only source of hot water for Tea or infusions, but with no seperate hot water dispenser faucet. You had to stand for almost 2 minutes while the machine slowly dispensed through the coffee outlet, a single mug of hot water, to the frustration of the queue behind. This needs sorting, it took ages to get a breakfast beverage every morning, and on the second day I had to return 4 floors to my room and fill my cup from the in room Nespresso maker. I'd advise to bring a travel kettle with you. Otherwise, a fine hotel, but the restaurant problems and discriminatory pricing for children are an issue, so not a hotel for children."

"This was my second stay in the hotel. The reception staff was friendly and helpful, David treated us fantastically and gave us two great rooms in a high floor facing the sea and Montjuic mount, where luckily that same night there were fireworks. The rooms were big and very original, the same unique feeling as the whole building that you cannot find in too many hotels. The roof top bar and swimming pool are excellent to chill and admire the beauty of the city. The gym is a bit compact but enough for a workout, and it has a small indoor pool to relax. But the breakfast was for me the highlight. The service was impeccable, preparing coffee for you on demand, and the variety of fruits, cold cuts and different dishes was so good that our breakfast lasted close to one hour. I will go again for sure!"

"Great location (close to cruise port and restaurants) and service. Clean room and nice shower except for some peeling on the ceiling. Wifi is good in the lobby but inconsistent in the room. Comfortable bed and quiet room."

"The views are absolutely spectacular! Both from the room and the dining area, the scenery is mesmerizing from the moment you arrive. In that regard, I think it's the best *Parador* I've ever stayed in. The rooms are also quite good, though not excellent. The breakfast buffet is varied and of good quality, featuring local products, which is standard policy for these establishments. The restaurant is also quite good. We had dinner there two nights and ordered different things each time. Our favorite was the beef sirloin, although all the other dishes were also very good. The entire staff is very friendly, and surprisingly quick with service in the dining room and at breakfast. The outdoor parking is free and has six paid charging points for electric cars at 11kwh. We're very happy to have chosen this *Parador* for our stay in the Aran Valley."

"A very stately, beautiful hotel with spacious rooms and bathrooms. It boasts a pool and spa. A very complete and delicious buffet breakfast. The restaurant offers a set menu. You can book a treatment or a restaurant meal on your departure day, and your room will be available until 6:00 p.m. A wonderful way to make the most of the day."

"I was a bit nervous before coming here because of some reviews I read, but my stay was actually pretty good! My room faced the street, so it was a little noisy, but it was spacious with good zoning, and it even had a bathtub for soaking. The front desk staff was very welcoming when we checked in. Our English isn't the best, but they used a translator to explain everything we needed to know, which was great service. Plus, the gentleman who checked us in that day was really humorous, charming, and handsome, haha!"

"The hotel's cleanliness, ambiance, and facilities are all excellent, and the rooms are comfortable. However, what was extremely disappointing was the hotel's handling of late checkout. Although we were only about an hour and a half past the normal checkout time and were prepared to pay a fee, we were charged 95 Euros for an extension until only 2 PM. This price seems highly unreasonable, both in terms of the standard charge and the actual service received. What's even more regrettable is the hotel's lack of flexibility, especially given its high room rates and brand positioning. A 95 Euro charge for such a short extension felt more like an attempt to generate additional revenue. While the hotel's physical amenities are commendable, this experience severely impacted our overall stay and made us reconsider whether we would choose this hotel again in the future."
