"The environment is quiet and the activities are abundant. The mountain air is great, and there are golf carts to take you anywhere within the valley. This time, the pre-sale package included dining, spa, and a travel photoshoot, making it even more comprehensive and cost-effective. The room was spacious, and with the 3-day, 2-night package, you essentially didn't need any extra expenses to have a great time eating, drinking, and playing. The New Rui travel photography was also excellent; it was efficient, unlike the rushed schedules you find in city photoshoots. Outdoor natural light photography creates a different effect than indoor lighting, leading to more natural interactions. If you're driving, you can also visit Naked Castle for free. Although the Land Rover off-road experience for the entire route is charged, it's a very special experience and I personally think it's well worth it. The three days and two nights were very fulfilling, and the weather in September and October was also good. If there's a similar package next time, I'll definitely come again."

"I chose this hotel for my trip to Wenzhou this time, and the overall stay far exceeded my expectations. The location is excellent; I could walk to Wuma Street, making it super convenient for shopping and trying local snacks. It’s quiet despite being in a bustling area, so sleeping at night was peaceful.
Check-in was very efficient, and the front desk staff were gentle and polite, responding quickly to any questions. The room was spotlessly clean with no strange odors. The bedding was soft and comfortable, and the mattress had just the right firmness, making it incredibly relaxing after a long day of exploring. The bathroom had a separate wet and dry area, plenty of hot water, and a full set of toiletries.

"I've stayed here many times. It used to be for business trips, and then I brought my kids here for skiing twice. The hotel's location is convenient; it's quiet despite being in a busy area, especially when compared to Leng Zhi Meng. The room views are nice, each offering a unique charm.
However, the old Sheraton brand has been replaced by an independent one, and you can still see lingering Sheraton logos everywhere. The facilities and service feel old and haphazard, lacking the composure it once had. The so-called butler service was non-existent during the high occupancy of the National Day holiday. We got our room at 5 PM, and they only agreed to a 30-minute late checkout, which felt a bit unremarkable.
The breakfast maintained its previous offerings, which were relatively rich, but the seating and service could still be improved."

Although it's an older hotel, its location directly across from Ningbo Station is perfect for those catching a train but still wanting a comfortable stay (there was even a wedding happening here on the day I checked in, lol!). The twin room had huge windows, and the bed was very comfortable. The best part? The bathroom had two sinks! No more fighting over sink space! Security was also great; you had to use your room key to access the elevator, and it automatically took you to your floor. Deliveries were handled by a robot or the front desk, which made me feel very secure."

"I think this price during the National Day holiday was incredibly good value, much better than other chain hotels. The beds are huge; two can be pushed together, making it very comfortable for everyone. There's also a wide variety of pillows to choose from, with special pillows for children and cervical pillows for those with neck problems. Every pillow was comfortable to sleep on, not too high, which is a big plus.
The breakfast was also very rich and offered many choices. We had stayed at another hotel for the first two days, but after having breakfast at Pullman, my child immediately said the previous hotel wasn't good. The only issue was that on the morning of the 5th, between 8:30 and 9:30 AM, there were so many people eating breakfast that we couldn't find a seat. However, on the morning of the 6th, the crowd significantly thinned out.
Areas for improvement include the lack of children's toothbrushes and toothpaste; you have to call customer service to have them delivered, as well as things like bathtub liners and other small items. At other hotels we've stayed at before, they usually provide a small bag at the front desk with children's slippers and toothbrushes, which eliminates the need to call customer service.
We visited the outdoor swimming pool, which looked great, but it was too cold during the National Day holiday, and it rained on a few days, so we didn't get to use it. The hotel also doesn't have an indoor pool, so on the 4th, when it rained, everyone felt a bit bored and didn't know what to do at the hotel. We had afternoon tea in the lobby, and the desserts were a little bitter; I'm not sure if it was the sauce, but we weren't really used to the taste.
The customer service representative, whose name I don't know, had a great attitude. She sent me check-in information in advance, and there was no parking fee during our stay, nor did we need to register our license plate. Dining options nearby are very convenient. We initially drove to Putuo Tiandi for meals but later realized it was within walking distance. Plus, there's a new beach nearby called Lianhua Bay, which I think is great because it's free, and it's easy to wash your feet there. It's also very close to the hotel, and for younger children, it's much better than going to Zhangzhou Bay or other places."

"The standalone villa courtyard is quiet and spacious, fully equipped with a BBQ grill, a heated pool, and a cozy spot for tea—it was pure bliss! In the evening, we arranged for a private chef to come and cook a BBQ feast. The next day, we booked lunch at the Battery Pavilion Chinese restaurant, plus breakfast at the Western restaurant, so we pretty much tried all their dining options. The food was consistently delicious, fresh, and freshly cooked to order rather than pre-made. When we joined the hotel's hiking tour, our guide even showed us their vegetable garden, where some of the produce is grown on-site, which was really cool.
Above all, the most noteworthy highlight was the butler service provided by the hotel team. Prior to check-in, our butler Sookie and Cici from the Guest Service Center set up a group chat well in advance, busily helping us reserve and coordinate various activities. Because we were on another trip the day before, we didn't check the messages and hotel activity schedule until quite late. It was around 9 or 10 PM when we finally reached out to them wanting to book the hike and the in-villa private BBQ. We thought it might be too late, but they went above and beyond and handled everything seamlessly. We were cutting it close for the hike upon arrival, so they coordinated beforehand with the shuttle driver, the activity center staff, and the tour guide. As soon as we stepped out of the car, we were whisked away to the activity center, and we checked in after the hike was done. For the BBQ, they also coordinated with the restaurant last minute so the chef could come early to grill for us. It was a short two-day stay, but without them, the trip wouldn't have been nearly as wonderful. The rest of the hotel staff were also very warm, polite, and attentive.
Oh, and at check-in, the front desk lady thoughtfully shared the exact sunrise and sunset times, as well as the best photo spots for the castle, so we didn't miss any of the stunning views. My whole family was completely thrilled. A huge thank you to everyone for their hard work and dedication, sending much love! ❤️❤️❤️"

Having just stayed here this past August for the summer holiday, and returning for a 3-night stay again for the National Day holiday less than two months later, that pretty much says it all. For domestic vacation destinations, InterContinental (洲际) is definitely one of the very few hotels—certainly fewer than three—that I would visit repeatedly within a short period.
The hardware and scenery are simply flawless. As soon as Emily, the butler who took care of me last time, learned I was coming back for National Day, she arranged a room upgrade for one of the nights so I wouldn't have to pack up and switch rooms. Then, on the day of arrival, our lovely butler Landy had a bellhop waiting in the underground parking garage bright and early to help unload our luggage. She also recommended the complimentary hotel hiking tour. Climbing up to the hidden cave was a huge hit with the kids. The Freedom Island Tea Bar is open now too, perfect for anyone who loves to slow down and unwind.
We stayed in the family lake-view room again, which comfortably accommodates four. Located well away from the central lake area, the hotel is wonderfully tranquil. There are no tourists wandering along the lakeshore, and far from the city's light pollution, we managed to catch sight of the Milky Way in East China's night sky once again, just like we did in August.
The buffet dinner, the fish head soup at the Chinese restaurant, the breakfast—the quality and service were top-notch across the board. Even with the hotel fully booked, you could order noodles via your phone, and the waitstaff proactively asked about coffee preferences. That’s classic InterContinental standard right there.
Our butler Landy checked in on us with genuine care from the very first moment we arrived, and even helped us secure a one-hour late checkout on our final day, letting us sleep in and leisurely pack our bags without having to rush.

The hotel was busy, but the staff helped upgrade our room type. Special thanks to Benson & Sandy for their thoughtful service. Anonymous UserIf you are considering a hotel around Xixi Wetland and looking at a budget of around 3,000 RMB per night, here are a few things you need to know about the Banyan Tree Hangzhou.
1. Booking Policy: Once you book via Trip.com, cancellation is not allowed after 30 minutes. Even if you book far in advance, you will still be charged a 50% cancellation fee. We only got them to cooperate through mediation by the 12315 consumer hotline, and even then, they only allowed a date change. This is quite rare for a 5-star hotel in China. Pay close attention to this and make sure not to book too far in advance.
2. Facilities & Dining: The facilities at the Banyan Tree now can only be described as resembling a rustic guesthouse (nongjiale). Occupancy seems very low, and the lazy uncles at the entrance completely ignore guests. If you want to grab dinner at night, you have to head out to a deserted area—there are only two restaurants, and some are closed on weekdays, serving only simple burger-style meals. The breakfast is barely on par with a 3-star hotel.
3. Signage & Service: Poor signage. The receptionist had an impatient attitude. The front desk area is tiny, the lobby lacks any fresh flowers or greenery, and the whole place gives off a vibe like it's about to go out of business.
4. Departure: After checking out, as our car drove out of the courtyard, the uncle standing at the entrance just stared blankly with zero reaction or traffic guidance.
5. Cleanliness: The corners of the room were not cleaned properly and were covered in dust.

If you live in a bustling city every day, are looking for absolute peace and quiet where you can escape from everyone, and don't care about service details, the Banyan Tree Xixi is a good choice. The rooms are spacious and quiet.

From pre-arrival communication and meeting us at the scenic area ferry terminal, to planning our itinerary and arranging dining and boat tours during our stay, she was incredibly thorough and thoughtful throughout. She proactively anticipated our needs, even thoughtfully providing mosquito repellent. Her demeanor was warm and professional, and her service was attentive yet unobtrusive, making us feel truly welcomed in this water town. The hotel's architecture uniquely reflects silk culture, and the breakfast was delicious. Coupled with our butler's high-quality service, our trip was incredibly comfortable. We'll definitely choose Silk Hotel again on our next visit.

After seeing all the great reviews, I hastily booked my trip to Wuzhen just the night before, and Jintang Inn definitely added a lot to the experience.
The swaying sculling boat carried us into the water town of our Jiangnan dreams, starting a journey of peace and tranquility. The location of Jintang Inn is excellent, the room is great, the breakfast is delicious, and the reception service from Manager Zhao Runqiu was very thoughtful.
Following the hotel's arrangements, we experienced a sound bowl healing session, feeling the physical and mental relaxation brought by the sounds.
We visited the silk reeling workshop, which was quite impressive. The large loom actually required two people to operate; it took me a while to realize there was someone else sitting up top! ”If a child doesn't learn, cut the loom thread” – if it were me, I don't think I could bear to do it!

We recently stayed at Xianhua Sandalwood International Hotel during the national holiday in China, and overall, our experience was quite enjoyable. Here’s a breakdown of our stay:

**Check-In Experience:**
We arrived at Xianhua Sandalwood International Hotel and the check-in process was smooth and efficient. The staff greeted us warmly and provided all the necessary information about our stay. However, the English was limited, but at least it was smooth and no hassles.
**Room Comfort:**
Our room was spacious and well-appointed. We appreciated the comfortable king sized bed, view, huge bathtub, cleanliness, and spaciousness. However, as a coffee lover, there was only one serving of coffee, so when we woke up the next morning I was quite upset that only myself was able to enjoy an early morning coffee. Nevertheless, it was perfect for relaxing after a day of sightseeing.
**Facilities:**
The hotel offered various facilities that enhanced our stay. We particularly enjoyed facilities like a fitness center, indoor pool, hot springs, table tennis and the pool table. The breakfast buffet was delightful, offering a mix of local and international cuisine.
**Service:**
The staff was exceptional. They were always available and eager to assist with any requests. Their friendly approach made our stay even more pleasant. The front desk manager Kang was super friendly and arranged for the coffee bar to open earlier the day we checked out.
**Room for Improvement:**
While our overall experience was positive, there were a couple of areas for improvement. We traveled with our 7 month old daughter and the noise and maintenance were quite unpleasant. However, these didn’t detract significantly from our enjoyment.
**Final Thoughts:**
This international hotel is just a few minutes' drive from the city, offering a serene escape with a beautiful exterior. Guests are welcomed by a picturesque fish pond, vibrant gardens, playful rabbits, and a designated play area for kids, making it an ideal family-friendly destination.

From guiding us to parking, to luggage transfer, meal reservations, and tour recommendations – just getting us settled in and our luggage sorted already made for a great emotional experience.
The hotel offers excellent privacy, and the rooms are quite spacious. We received a welcome fruit platter and disposable toilet seat covers. It would be even better if disposable bath liners were also provided.
