Facilities: The hotel's facilities are superb! The bedding in the room is comfortable, the toiletries are complete and of great quality, and basic amenities like air conditioning and hot water run smoothly. The smart room control system is also very convenient to use. In the public areas, the fitness and lounge areas are well-equipped with brand new and well-maintained equipment, and the public area hygiene is also exceptionally good.
Service: This stay was fantastic, and I must highlight Minnie and George Chai at the front desk for their exceptionally professional and attentive service. Check-in and check-out were super efficient, they were smiling throughout, and patiently explained the hotel facilities and provided tips for local attractions and dining. Their thoughtfulness was evident in every detail. Any questions we had were answered instantly, and their attitude was gentle and considerate, adding so much warmth to our trip. Their excellent service truly made our entire stay perfect. I highly recommend this hotel and commend Minnie and George Chai for their outstanding service!

When we first arrived we wondered if we had made a mistake and booked a hotel in the wrong location! But no, it turned out to be just wonderful! The huge window gave us a wonderful view and the old town was a short lively walk straight down the hill. The only problem we had was when we had to leave early on the morning. We were locked in and couldn't phone anyone to come and unlick the door. This is also a fire hazard. Anyhow if they could work out a better system it would be perfect.

This hotel is absolutely fantastic! Shannyn's service was excellent, and the whole place really gives off a relaxing vacation vibe. It's especially great for families with kids because of all the animals they have – black swans, miniature horses, sheepdogs, alpacas, and goats. In the mornings, you can even feed the fish, which my child loved. The breakfast was delicious, and there's a complimentary tea-tasting area. The rooms are a lovely blend of modern and traditional Chinese styles. I particularly liked that the toilet and shower areas are completely separate and in different spots, and the toilet even has its own sink. When I first checked in late at night, I asked for a crib, and the front desk said I'd need to come back in the morning since it was so late. I actually didn't bother going back the next day because I thought we'd manage without it, but to my surprise, we found a crib already in our room – that was such a thoughtful touch! The hotel's paid restaurant is also really good; the food is healthy with just the right amount of salt. They also have hot spring baths and a sauna, and the shower stalls are private. Plus, the hotel offers traditional costume and wedding dress photography, which is amazing! I seriously recommend this place. While I wasn't a fan of other attractions in Lijiang, I truly loved this hotel. And the pool isn't cold either!

The hotel service was excellent, and the location is fantastic, right by the North Gate of Shuhe Old Town. When we arrived by car, the hotel staff met us at the entrance and helped with our luggage. The front desk lady was incredibly friendly and enthusiastic, giving us a great overview. Our room was very clean and comfortable, and the courtyard has a beautiful Southeast Asian vibe. There's a guestbook in the room, and it was really interesting to read all the positive comments from people around the world! We had a wonderful time here, thank you!

The hotel is right next to Huquan Ecological Park, offering a tranquil environment with lake views directly from the window and fresh air. The overall garden landscape is beautiful and perfect for photos. The room was spacious and clean, with comfortable bedding and excellent soundproofing, ensuring a peaceful rest. The service was warm, attentive, and prompt, with thoughtful details. The breakfast offered a rich variety of delicious options. Guests can also enjoy hot springs and leisurely walks, as the facilities are comprehensive. The location is excellent, making travel convenient, and the value for money is superb. It's an ideal choice for a vacation in Mile. Overall, I'm extremely satisfied and highly recommend it!
The room was a bit small, with an odd corner. Everything else was great, though. I was really satisfied. It's close to the city center and has parking, even if it's a bit tight. It definitely tests the driver's skills, but the security guard actually stood there and guided me while I backed up, so I was very happy with the service.

The room was spacious with a window, and being on the 14th floor, the view was fantastic. You needed to use your card to operate the elevator, which made me feel very secure. Right opposite the hotel is Cuihu Park, which is free to enter, perfect for a leisurely stroll. The hotel is located in the city center. To the right of the hotel is Huangdong Street, a vibrant area, especially when the jacaranda trees are in bloom, with many small cafes for visitors to relax in. The hotel breakfast was incredibly rich and varied, with high-quality offerings. The hotel's Chinese restaurant was also excellent; the dishes tasted great, the prices were reasonable, offering great value for money. I had all three meals at the hotel every day, which was clean and hygienic, with beautiful views of Cuihu Park from the window! This hotel is quite popular, and rooms book up quickly. I booked a week in advance and couldn't even extend my stay for an extra night. If you get a city view room, you can catch the sunrise. The most sought-after rooms are the lake view ones, which overlook Cuihu Park and offer stunning sunset views. If you want one, make sure to book well in advance! This hotel definitely deserves a 100/100 score!

The room was spotless, and the bedding was very clean. I'd especially like to commend the front desk young lady for her excellent service. She really considered my needs. Since I was staying at the hotel to catch an early flight, she helped arrange a very quiet room. In the morning, she even called to remind me about the shuttle bus schedule. It's a shame I didn't have time to try breakfast. I'll definitely choose Chenji again if I have the chance next time.

Facilities: Good. The in-room facilities are well-maintained, doesn't feel like a hotel that's over a decade old.
Hygiene: Good. Stayed for two days without any discomfort like allergies.
Environment: Beautiful. You can see Erhai Lake, and it's within walking distance to some restaurants and coffee shops.
Service: Excellent! 👍 The front desk staff were very enthusiastic and helped us resolve various small issues. We felt really warmed by their service.

The room layout is great, allowing you to enjoy a cup of tea while overlooking Erhai Lake. We encountered tidal flow lanes (5:30 PM - 6:45 PM) on our way to the hotel. We called the hotel directly and added Diana, a staff member, on WeChat. She guided us to the hotel very accurately and even recommended local Dali food and travel routes, saving us a lot of trouble. The underground parking is also excellent. This is a reputable hotel, and its quality is trustworthy. We'll definitely stay here again next time we visit Dali.

GGuest UserBooked a six-night stay in a mountain-view villa for my family. The views were stunning, the rooms were spotless, the air was fresh, and the service was attentive. There were plenty of activities, and the airport transfers were perfectly on time. My whole family had an absolute blast!
My favorite part was watching the little white geese and ducklings swimming freely in the lake 𓅿𓅹 – they were incredibly cute! In the early morning, you could also witness the magnificent 'Golden Mountain in the Sun' spectacle. Breakfast was delicious, especially the Ersi noodles, which were truly unforgettable.
The staff were always warm and thoughtful, bringing us different special snacks every day, like rose cakes, roasted potatoes, and milk cheese… Each day brought a new surprise! My family also had a deep dive into traditional culture at the hotel, including the Naxi blessing ceremony, recycled paper making, and Dongba calligraphy and painting. It was both professional and fascinating! For those who love traditional culture, this is definitely not to be missed.
GGuest UserThe room facing the street was quite quiet, which was nice. The front desk has a coffee machine, and you can ask the staff to prepare drinks for you as needed.
The front desk staff was very enthusiastic and proactively offered us travel advice. Parking allows one exit within a 24-hour period, so plan your outings accordingly.
It takes about 20 minutes to walk to the Old Town Windmill, maybe because I walk a bit slowly, but it's definitely not just a few minutes away.
The room is equipped with smart home features, and the quality of items like tissues is quite good, showing that the owner has high standards for the amenities provided.
BBingbingle、The room was very spacious and well-equipped.
The decor and design were fantastic. The renovation of the historic building is quite unique, and the courtyard is breathtaking.
The housekeeping service was excellent, and any requests were promptly addressed.
The breakfast was also delicious, featuring some unique dishes.
I'll definitely stay here again next time I'm in Yunnan.
GGuest UserI booked a special offer room for 3 days, and the owner was super enthusiastic, upgrading our room directly. The best part? It had a full-length mirror! Out of the four B&Bs we stayed at in Yunnan, this was the only one that had one 😂. The room came with a terrace offering beautiful night views of the ancient city and mountains. It's also very close to the old town, with shared bikes right outside the door, so you can just cycle there if you don't feel like walking. Breakfast was included, but we slept in late every day and never got to try it. The owner proactively asked if we needed pick-up from the station or airport. Since we arrived by bus, we didn't need it. There's a small tricycle available to help with luggage, or if you're tired from walking at night, you can call the owner to pick you up at the uphill intersection. When we left, they arranged a complimentary drop-off at the airport. The owner is incredibly warm and thoughtful, helping with our luggage the whole time and even invited us to eat hotpot with them, giving us tips on where to go. Finally! In my rush, I carelessly forgot my most important camera 😭😭. I contacted the owner, and they immediately responded and arranged to mail it to me. So grateful!
YYappariStory✨ Overall Impression
Stepping into the hotel, the lobby's design immediately gives you that ”the vacation has begun” feeling. The wooden structures combined with Southeast Asian-style decor – statues, elephant ornaments, and warm lighting – create a gentle, slightly exotic ambiance. It's understated but rich in detail.
🍽️ Dining Experience
The hotel's buffet area focuses on ”Yunnan specialty cuisine,” with meticulous attention paid to both plate presentation and space design.
The open-plan counters are neat and clean, offering a wide variety of choices. While featuring local flavors, it also caters to different tastes. Overall, it's above average – not stunning, but comfortable and diverse.
🛏️ Room Experience
The rooms are spacious and well-laid out, exuding the relaxed vibe of a resort hotel.
🛋️ Features a separate lounge area and a balcony.
🌿 The outdoor terrace is perfect for relaxing in the morning or evening.
🛁 The bathroom is fully equipped with a separate wet/dry area and a bathtub.
The overall style is natural and warm, with wood and soft lighting making it easy to unwind. However, upon closer inspection, some facilities show a bit of age, though they are still maintained in a comfortable condition.
🌴 Environment and Facilities
The hotel feels more like a resort-style hot spring hotel than a purely business hotel.
🌳 Spacious outdoor areas with a resort atmosphere.
🚗 Luxury cars parked at the entrance enhance the overall sense of class.
🏛️ Richly decorated public areas, perfect for photos.
It's particularly suitable for slow-paced travelers rather than those rushing through their itinerary.
💡 Pros Summary
✔️ Spacious and very comfortable.
✔️ Has a resort atmosphere, great for relaxation.
✔️ Diverse dining options.
✔️ Distinctive design, photo-friendly.
⚖️ Areas for Improvement
▫️ Some facilities are a bit dated.
Recommended for:
✔️ Those looking to slow down in Kunming.
✔️ Travelers who enjoy hot springs + a resort style.
✔️ Guests who prioritize space and comfort.
This isn't a hotel that will wow you at first glance, but it's a place where you can unwind and stay comfortably.
In a city with such pleasant weather as Kunming, it feels more like a ”gentle haven” than a showy luxury.

MM463572****To start with: it's been a long time since I've had such a satisfying experience.
**Facilities**: This is a hot spring resort that's well-maintained despite its age. Villa 10 is perfectly situated, and the facilities are in excellent condition – not a single sliding door was out of order or stuck, which is quite impressive. However, it would be even better if the front door locks were upgraded.
**Cleanliness**: Very clean, very satisfied.
**Environment**: I walked all around the resort grounds; the scenery is beautiful. Beyond the expansive lake views, there's also a hidden gem of a pond with bald cypress trees.
**Service**: Absolutely more than five points, more than five stars – truly perfect. The golf carts were available on call, and the turndown service was meticulous. A special thanks to Ms. Yang at the front desk for helping to coordinate our departure transfer, adding another wonderful touch to our trip.
**Afternoon Tea Experience**: The taste was exquisite; I even worried I might never find such delicious pastries elsewhere again.
**Airport Transfer Service**: The transfer car was good, and the driver was skilled and provided thoughtful service.
**Outdoor Garden Hot Spring Experience**: The hot springs were great. The bathing area even thoughtfully provided a stool for seniors, though the lighting in the changing area was really too dim to see the locker numbers.
**Food**: The food was also good. I really liked the mushroom and radish dish at dinner, and the roasted duck was unique. The breakfast rice noodles were outstanding! And the gulls loved the birdseed provided for them too.

GGuest UserService: The service at White House was the best I experienced on my Yunnan trip, even better than Hyatt's meticulous and attentive service.
They offer free laundry and drying, and breakfast can be delivered to your room. There are also complimentary evening drinks. Whenever you leave, they ask where you're going and offer free taxi service (to the three ancient towns). Upon check-in, each room receives a thoughtful gift box containing items like face masks, contact lens solution, glasses cases, and breath freshener. I hope the owner can upgrade the quality of these gifts; with such excellent service, I'd love to see the hotel's overall quality improve further.
Environment: Every room faces Jade Dragon Snow Mountain directly, offering an excellent viewing experience.
Facilities: I tried two room types this time. The ventilation system in this particular room type wasn't great. Since it's above the cafe, there was a strong smell when I opened the bathroom and room doors. This seems like a construction issue that's hard to change later. Both room types I stayed in had poor soundproofing. Early in the morning, I could hear people chattering by the lake downstairs, taking photos of the snow mountain, and in the hallway, I could hear doors closing, people walking, and talking from other rooms.
Hygine: During my stay, one bath towel was dirty, but the service staff replaced it immediately.
Overall, this hotel is quite good. However, the price I paid for the first night on the platform was over 1900, and for that price, the quality felt insufficient. At their regular prices, these issues would be less significant. I sincerely hope the hotel's business thrives. Many things require time and refinement. While the hard facilities can't be changed, there's still room for improvement in the soft facilities.
GGuest UserThis is hands down the best hotel I've ever stayed at in terms of service. Miya, the manager, went above and beyond, patiently helping us resolve our issues from start to finish and offering a wealth of value-added services that truly exceeded our expectations. Although we encountered some facility hardware problems during our two-day stay, the manager was involved throughout the entire service process until the issues were resolved, demonstrating incredible patience and meticulous attention to detail. During our time in Lijiang, we also experienced the world-renowned Amankora hotel, and honestly, the service at this InterContinental far surpassed Amankora's! A big thumbs up to the InterContinental for their outstanding service!
