The hotel features 383 elegant guestrooms and 58 serviced apartments, with spacious layouts starting from 42 square meters that define refined living. Expansive floor-to-ceiling windows capture sweeping views of Qingnian Park’s shimmering lake and the dynamic city skyline. On the 30th floor, the Horizon Club Lounge elevates the experience with exclusive executive privileges and panoramic vistas, offering distinguished service above the clouds.

"My stay at Shangri-La Shenyang was absolutely divine ✨ I have to give a special shout-out to Guest Relations, Ellie! She was incredibly patient, explaining the 'Mountain Road and Pine Sound' art masterpiece in the lobby lounge's east wing. It's a stunning piece by a New Zealand artist team who recreated a Ming Dynasty painting by Tang Bohu using crystal pillars – a fantastic blend of East and West, exuding such style. It was a truly immersive and delightful experience of Chinese landscape aesthetics. Later that night, I even received a thoughtful delivery of warm chicken soup. My fatigue instantly melted away. As someone who appreciates attention to detail, I absolutely loved it. The service and ambiance were both top-notch. This is definitely my go-to hotel whenever I'm in Shenyang!"

Designed with a touch of modernity and offering exclusive amenities, New World Dalian Hotel promises a delightful and memorable stay. The hotel offers extensive events facilities with one 960 square metres Grand ballroom and nine multi-function rooms.

"This hotel belongs to the Hong Kong-based New World Hotels & Resorts group, which also has properties in Beijing and Shenyang. This particular Dalian location stands out for its excellent service, though it does have several minor issues with its facilities. The in-room dining menu is bulky and takes up too much space, with an outdated layout lacking clear categories. It even had leftover food residue from a previous guest, making it only useful for propping up takeout. The room TV is quite small, and both the decor and furniture styles are old-fashioned. The carpet had a strange odor; even after switching rooms twice, the smell persisted and only improved when the windows were opened. I hope the hotel addresses this and gets rid of the odor. However, the service was exceptionally thoughtful. A front desk staff member even provided tokens for my child to play claw machines, and the manager was very considerate. The bathroom was spotless. The north-facing rooms offer great views, while the south-facing rooms can get stuffy due to insufficient air conditioning. Despite these flaws, the overall value for money is good. Its location is absolutely fantastic, close to Donggang and Zhongshan Square, surrounded by numerous seafood and Japanese restaurants. There's an incredible variety of food choices, making it a perfect place to stay if you're looking for a culinary adventure in Dalian. I sincerely want to give a big shout-out to all the hotel staff. I wish everyone smooth work and hope the hotel business thrives. I look forward to experiencing New World Hotels in other cities next time."

"This is a pet-friendly hotel, but the 350 RMB per night cleaning fee for pets is higher than many other hotels. It's indeed a nice place though, and the pet supplies provided were excellent, which I was very happy with. The rooftop garden for dog walking has a great environment, perfect for walking your dog morning and evening. My kids had a blast. As for the service, not having a dedicated butler felt a bit inconvenient. The food delivery speed was incredibly slow; I ordered at 10 PM and it arrived past 11:40 PM, and they even got the order wrong. Everyone was already asleep by then, haha. Breakfast was decent, and since we were staying multiple nights as a couple, we got one free. One more thing: the activities listed in the package on Trip.com were a complete mess. When I asked the front desk, they said they didn't know and told me to contact the merchant in the mall. When I called the merchant, they told me to ask the hotel! 😂😂😂 In the end, I figured out it wasn't a freebie anyway. Basically, the hotel and the mall merchants are tied together, and the promotional tactics are a bit annoying. Either offer it for free or don't list it. Every time I asked about something in my package, no one knew anything, and they weren't familiar with their own services. It wasted over ten minutes and spoiled my mood."

"Every year when I come back to Shenyang, I always book this hotel without a doubt. Each time, I choose a three-bedroom apartment, which is convenient for my husband and me, and our son and daughter to have their own space. Most of the time, I book through the official website and with Ms. Liu from sales, though occasionally I've booked on Ctrip. Regardless of the platform, I always receive excellent service. This time, I arrived at the hotel close to 11 PM. It was comforting to see the familiar smiling face of the front desk staff. After recognizing my member status, she even upgraded my room to an executive suite. There have been several times I considered booking hotels on Youth Street, but while they may seem luxurious, they're not as practical for a family like ours staying for a few days, especially with all the laundry. At Ascott Shenyang, I can wash and dry clothes every day, and the kitchen is very convenient with a refrigerator to store groceries. When I've stayed for longer periods, I've even ordered delivery from Sam's Club and cooked my own meals. I've even spent Chinese New Year here and cooked our reunion dinner myself. If I had to point out a drawback, I'd say some of the facilities could use an upgrade. For example, the speakers next to the TV are still from the DVD era; they could easily be replaced with modern, affordable, and functional Bluetooth speakers. The hotel kitchen is fully equipped with tableware and cookware, and there's a Xin Tiandi supermarket nearby to buy seasonings, plus a convenient Lawson downstairs. The only sad thing is the decline of Taiyuan Street; it was so bustling when I first came to Shenyang over 20 years ago, but now many shops have closed. While the breakfast selection isn't huge, it's sufficient, offering both Chinese and Western options. The staff in the breakfast area are all very warm and polite. Parking downstairs costs 40 yuan per day. What's more convenient now is that after registering your license plate when checking in, you don't need parking vouchers every time you leave. You just settle the total parking fee when you check out. I'm always grateful for an incident during Christmas two years ago. I fell ill when I was alone in the room, and struggled to order medicine for delivery. It was the gentleman downstairs who brought it up to me, and I started to feel better after taking it. By the time my husband and child returned, I was already much improved. I've seen him still working near the front desk during my current stay. I'll be back this summer for another long stay. See you again, Ascott, in the summer!"

"The service was great! Even though the hotel isn't brand new, it retains the elegant charm of an established five-star property. I was especially pleased with the complimentary upgrade to a king-size bed room, which made my 3-day stay very comfortable. The only minor downsides were the lack of an opening window for ventilation and no exhaust fan in the bathroom. Also, the bathroom door was a bit too transparent. Overall, it was still a very good experience."

"I was very satisfied with my trip to Dalian, especially the accommodation. Initially, I was worried that Shangri-La, being an older five-star hotel, might have outdated facilities. However, upon arrival, I found the hotel facilities to be very well-maintained, and the service experience was excellent – truly befitting a five-star hotel. I had originally booked a one-bedroom apartment, but the lobby manager kindly upgraded us to a two-bedroom apartment for free, seeing that I had many family members with me. We only realized the free upgrade once we got to the room, which was a pleasant surprise for my family and me; we even thought we had gone to the wrong room at first, haha. I'd also like to specially commend Ms. Yara from the hotel. After check-in, she proactively added me on WeChat to help me with a delivery, was always available to assist with any issues, and even gave my baby a cute little bear, which my baby absolutely loves and carries everywhere. Since we were traveling with a small child, the hotel also provided a bed rail. Additionally, the hotel has two playgrounds (one large, one small) and a swimming pool, so there's no need to worry about the baby getting bored. The breakfast was also very lavish, and both adults and children enjoyed it immensely. All in all, Shangri-La Hotel did not disappoint me. I highly recommend it to families traveling with children!"

Hotel near Lengyan Temple Park,Yingkou
Located in business center and near Lengyansi Park, the Hualian Hotel (Hualian Dafandian) is about ten-minute drive from Yingkou Railway Station. The hotel offers a wide variety of rooms with modern facilities installed, such as mini bars, LCD TVs and Internet access. The on-site restaurant serves an assortment of delicacies of Chinese and Western palate. Room service is available. For recreation, guests can enjoy foot massage, relax in the spa or sauna.

"The room was spacious, bright, clean, and tidy. Parking was very convenient, and breakfast was good. My only confusion was why there were restrictions on the 'complimentary' drinking water. At checkout, another guest mentioned being charged for extra water, and it turned out I had also been caught out. (I saw a disposable toilet seat cover on the toilet and assumed it was free, but it was one of those flimsy, unusable types like on planes, so I threw it away.) They charged me 2 yuan for it! Having traveled extensively, this is the first time I've encountered something like this. Just a heads-up to be cautious. I hope the hotel doesn't lose customers by nickel-and-diming them."

The Hotel Nikko Dalian provides a great place for travelers to relax after a busy day. Visitors to Dalian will find that the Hotel Nikko Dalian is a fantastic accommodation choice. Traveling to the hotel is easy with Dalian Railway Station located approximately 1km away and Dalian Zhoushuizi International Airport roughly 11km away. Being just minutes away from Zhongshan Square Metro Station allows guests to explore the city with ease. This hotel is located near many of Dalian's attractions including Qingniwa Commercial Zone, Foster Slide and Dalian Minghua Art Gallery. At the end of a busy day, travelers can unwind and relax in the hotel or go out and enjoy the city. For those driving themselves, parking is provided on site. Germaphobes can rest easy - the level of cleanliness is highly rated at this hotel. This hotel is the usual choice for a large number of business travelers.

"I saw reviews mentioning it was an older hotel before I went, so I was a bit worried about outdated facilities. However, after checking in, I found it to be quite good! While some furniture and wallpaper definitely show their age, I think it's acceptable. You can tell from the pictures that the hotel has a good aesthetic, and they've clearly put in time and effort to maintain it well. The front desk service during check-in was just right – very friendly but not overly enthusiastic. I got an upgraded room thanks to my Trip.com benefits, and they even reminded me that I could get discount coupons at the Japanese restaurant on the third floor. The hotel's swimming pool is very well-maintained! The water quality is excellent. Probably because the shallowest part is 1.7 meters deep, everyone there is actually serious about swimming! It's fantastic!!! Big thumbs up! The only slight disappointment was that there are quite a few foreign guests at the hotel. Despite clear signs in both Chinese and English, with large notices on the door to the hot spring area stating no electronic devices are allowed, I still encountered a foreigner doing exactly that. I immediately spoke up. From her reaction, it didn't seem like she was unaware. I hope the hotel can strengthen its management; these rules shouldn't only apply to obedient local guests, otherwise, it's really quite unsafe. Perhaps they could add an extra reminder during check-in and when getting keys for the changing room. They shouldn't avoid saying anything due to language barriers or fear of trouble (after all, every time I went to get the changing room key, I was reminded of the closing time)."

Our first night in Dalian was at the Intercontinental, and it truly gave my family and me an unparalleled stay. The front desk, considering we had a child with us, upgraded us to a family room and breakfast, and even gave us a welcome gift. They thoughtfully arranged for the extra bed to be made up for our little one in advance. The room's amenities were excellent, maintaining Intercontinental's consistently high standards. The breakfast offered a wide variety, including local specialties like sea cucumber congee and Northeastern dishes, all of which were delicious. The staff were numerous, very enthusiastic, and incredibly efficient at clearing plates. From our room window, we could see several historic buildings in Zhongshan Square, indicating a prime location. All in all, I give it a 100% recommendation and will definitely stay here again on my next visit.

We stayed at the Hard Rock Hotel Dalian Golden Pebble Beach for two nights over the Dragon Boat Festival, booking two rooms, and we were absolutely delighted! From the moment we checked in, the service was exceptional. The front desk staff were all incredibly welcoming, especially Yi Yangqianxi, who even upgraded our rooms. We had a fantastic view of the ocean from our floor, which was such a mood booster. The hotel itself has a vibrant musical vibe, with a distinct rock 'n' roll flair 🤘. The rooms were great too. It's right by the beach, and Discoveryland is only a few hundred meters away, so the kids had an amazing time. The breakfast selection was quite diverse, with something to please everyone. In the evenings, we also visited the hotel's own bar and enjoyed a couple of drinks – it was fantastic! There was even a foreign resident singer who performed beautifully, making it a perfect spot to unwind. We'll definitely choose to stay here again on our next visit!

My stay at the Four Seasons Dalian was absolutely perfect, and I especially want to commend the front desk staff. Upon arriving at the 41st-floor lobby, the check-in process was efficient and smooth. The staff were incredibly kind and patient, proactively explaining the hotel facilities, recommending optimal viewing times, and even thoughtfully suggesting an itinerary for Donggang based on my travel plans. I made a last-minute request to switch to a higher-floor sea-view room, and the front desk quickly accommodated it, communicating every detail with thoughtfulness and professionalism. The hotel lobby’s floor-to-ceiling windows offer an unbeatable view of the Donggang seascape. The room was clean and tidy, the bedding was soft and comfortable, and all the amenities were complete. From the doormen and front desk to the room attendants, everyone provided excellent service, with thoughtful touches at every turn. The exceptional service from the front desk truly enhanced my entire trip. This will be my top choice when visiting Dalian, and I'll definitely choose to stay here again on my next trip!

I look forward to experiencing New World Hotels in other cities next time.

Holiday Inn DALIAN HOT SPRING by IHG

Excellent

It was really pleasant to soak in the hot spring and enjoy an iced coffee in the room on a rainy day, especially with Dalian's comfortable weather. Facilities: The room facilities had a charming, retro feel from an earlier era. While a bit old, they were fairly well-maintained. Hot Spring Ticket for Two (Single Entry): The hot spring itself was quite good, though the massage services closed a bit early. Service: Brynn provided attentive and warm service, which definitely enhanced our entire trip. Breakfast was pretty standard, but the scrambled eggs with shrimp from room service were surprisingly good.

My stay at Shangri-La Shenyang was absolutely divine ✨ I have to give a special shout-out to Guest Relations, Ellie! This is definitely my go-to hotel whenever I'm in Shenyang!

The scenery outside the river view room is particularly beautiful. Downstairs is the Liaohe River Leisure Trail. It is very convenient to go downstairs for a walk at night. The restaurant on the first floor of the hotel is always delicious and I have to visit it once or twice every time I stay. The breakfast was very good, with many flavors, but this time the coffee machine was broken and I didn't get any coffee. Fortunately, the coffee in the cafe on the first floor is also very delicious.
