"After a twenty-day trip through Yunnan, I stopped in Shijiazhuang for a night on my way back to Beijing. I booked the Hilton because I was having dinner with a friend at China House on the second floor of the hotel. The hotel lobby is on the 31st floor, so you have to check in there first, and then take another elevator up to the 40-something floor for your room. This back-and-forth can be a bit inconvenient, especially when ordering takeout. You either have to pick it up yourself or wait for hotel staff to deliver it, as external deliveries aren't allowed in, and there don't seem to be any robots either. Overall, the hotel environment is quite good. Being on a high floor, you get nice city views. The toilet in the room isn't automatic. The shower water pressure was good, and the room was quite spacious. All the drinks and water in the fridge are chargeable. There's a 600 RMB deposit required per room upon check-in, which is refunded to your original payment method upon checkout. Parking is free in the underground garage. There's a shopping mall nearby. The hotel is about 7 kilometers from Shijiazhuang Station, roughly a 20-minute car ride."

"The room size is quite spacious. Although the decor is a bit dated, the cleanliness is truly impeccable. Overall, the service attitude was very good. The front desk staff were very friendly. Telephone service was prompt; it's the fastest I've experienced at any hotel in terms of getting help to the room. The welcome fruit was incredibly fresh and substantial. Every piece was edible, not just good-looking but tasteless ones. What I wasn't happy with: Firstly, the doorman. We arrived around 2 PM, which I assume is peak check-in time. I only saw one attendant at the entrance. My family went to park, and I was left alone with my child, carrying a backpack, an iPad, dragging a suitcase, and a large bag of snacks. The attendant just took the luggage out of the car and left me to my own devices. It was quite chaotic. Even if he had just helped me get a luggage cart, it would have been much better. When traveling with children, you always have a lot of stuff, so this situation should be very common. I suggest increasing the number of doormen and having luggage carts readily available at the hotel entrance. Secondly, the toothbrush in the room was incredibly hard. After brushing, I was practically spitting blood. Also, the hairdryer was fixed inside a drawer with a very short cord, making it difficult to hold up. Plus, it was really hard to use. Can't they update to a better one? The cool air doesn't dry, and the hot air burns your scalp. Even with my relatively thin hair, it took ten minutes to somewhat dry, when at home it usually takes about a minute. It doesn't have to be as fancy as a Dyson, but a Xiaomi or Laifen would be an improvement. Finally, the automatic door on the first floor leading to the beach wasn't very sensitive. As I was walking out with my child, it started closing automatically before we were fully through, and my child bumped their face. Although it wasn't serious, it's still a safety hazard. I reported it to the front desk, and they were very kind and immediately asked about my child's well-being. I just hope the issue will be taken seriously."

"I've stayed at this hotel for two consecutive years while visiting the Grassland Sky Road. The rooms are equipped with coffee machines, and the breakfast is quite good for a small county town like this. It's great value for money and worth recommending!"

The location is very convenient, less than 6 kilometers from the high-speed train station. The room was spotlessly clean, and they even provided two complimentary souvenirs. "This hotel is incredibly close to Shijiazhuang Station, just a 4-minute taxi ride to the platform, making it perfect for catching early morning high-speed trains. Below the hotel is actually a bathhouse, with guest rooms upstairs. The rooms are really, really spacious and even include an electric mahjong table, which is great for families. However, the carpet in the hallway was quite dusty, causing some coughing for those with sensitive respiratory systems. Switching to a room facing outwards with a window that could open made a big difference."

"I bought a package deal that included the hotel and a ticket to the Dream of the Red Chamber show, which was pretty good value. The hotel is very spacious and grand, and you can spend some time just exploring it. The front desk staff was a bit distant, but check-in was quick and professional. Other staff members were all very friendly, greeting me with smiles, especially those at the breakfast buffet and the SPA on the first floor; their service was warm and attentive, which made me feel very comfortable. The breakfast itself was also good, with a wide variety of dishes and good flavor. The hotel is a bit old, so the facilities are showing their age, which I can understand. However, the swimming and fitness area was a really bad experience. I'm not sure if it's operated by the hotel or outsourced. The staff at the front desk there were completely unresponsive and lacked any service awareness. The pool management was also chaotic, with people playing and swimming all mixed together, making it impossible to swim properly. Plus, I went in the evening, and the water was quite murky, so I didn't dare to swim much."

"I stayed for four consecutive days, and I was quite satisfied with everything until the last day. On May 4th at noon, as we were in a hurry, we decided to eat at the 2046 tea restaurant on the first floor. We bought two group-buy vouchers from a popular app since there were many of us. Unfortunately, that afternoon, one of us started feeling unwell, experiencing nausea, bloating, general discomfort, and weakness. By the evening, they had vomited several times. Initially, we thought it was an individual issue, but then two more people developed the exact same symptoms: bloating, nausea, vomiting, and diarrhea. The unfortunate part is that we didn't realize at first that the food was the culprit, and we even ate there again that same evening... At least we didn't eat anywhere else, so there's no one else to blame... This incident cut our last day short. Besides these three most severe cases, upon further questioning, three other people also reported similar, albeit milder, symptoms that they hadn't paid much attention to. Although it's hard to pinpoint exactly which dish caused it now, we ate all three meals at the hotel, so it's highly probable there was an issue with the hotel's food... Apart from this problem, the guest rooms were fine, but it's truly disappointing for our holiday to end this way."
