"Staying at this hotel during my trip to Dalian was a great choice. Located in the Donggang area, I mainly booked it for the sea view, and it certainly didn't disappoint—the ocean and night views are stunning, right across from the Water City. The young lady at the front desk was very sweet and welcoming. The room is spacious with two large queen beds, separated by a sliding door. The room amenities are fully equipped, and the bedding is comfortable. You can even enjoy the sea view and the unique, beautiful architecture of the Water City right from your bed. The hygiene and facilities are also top-notch; it was very clean, the shower water was nice and hot, the AC worked great, and it even came with a large refrigerator. Whenever we needed anything, the butler responded very quickly. Thumbs up! 👍 We visited the Water City both day and night, and felt the night lighting was even more breathtaking, with small boats gliding by and surrounding restaurants reflecting on the water—truly gorgeous. It's also very convenient to go to the coast to see seagulls. All in all, I am extremely satisfied with choosing this hotel. Just a quick tip: when taking a taxi, locating the hotel, or ordering food delivery, entering through Hengli Hotel is much more convenient."

"First off, I want to say that the shuttle bus drivers, the security guards at the gate, and the cleaning staff all had excellent and professional service attitudes. However, the front desk's service quality was extremely poor, incomparable to what I experienced in Chengdu. I used to stay at Fraser Place Chengdu frequently for work assignments, so when I had a baby, I thought of booking Fraser again. Why was it unprofessional? I booked a Premier Suite, and the room pictures showed a very spacious living area. But when I got the room card, it was just a standard one-bedroom suite. They said it was because they wanted to give me a high floor – why would I need a high floor with a baby? And that was hardly a large one-bedroom suite to begin with. Furthermore, when I called and asked for the room card to be brought up, it was a security guard who called the robot to deliver it to me."

"My family and I chose this Novotel hotel's sea view room at Zhongshan Square for our vacation in Dalian during the Seafood Festival. After comparing several options online, we settled on this one. The hotel, opened in 2025, has relatively new facilities. However, the 'sea view room' was a bit misleading as the view wasn't great. On the plus side, the hotel boasts an excellent location with convenient transportation and a wide variety of nearby dining options. The breakfast was also impressive, with a rich selection and high-quality food."

"The room environment was very clean and the atmosphere was very comfortable. What's even better is that it's equipped with a refrigerator, kitchen, washing machine, and wardrobe – it's so comprehensive! For around 120, this room offers incredible value for money. "Overall, it's a pretty good stay! Location: The hotel boasts an excellent, bustling location right at Friendship Square. It's within walking distance to Zhongshan Square, Nanshan Road, and Dalian Department Store, making it very convenient. The rooms are quite spacious, and staying on a high floor offers even better views! Amenities: The facilities are a bit dated and the furniture shows its age, though this doesn't really affect the stay. Right after checking in, we found that the outlet in front of the bathroom mirror had no power—when I finished showering and plugged in the hair dryer, it wouldn't turn on. A maintenance person fixed it later, but the hotel really should inspect essential in-room facilities promptly. Service: First of all, the doorman was completely oblivious to his surroundings! Around 9 AM when we arrived by car, there was no staff member at the front entrance. There's only a single-lane driveway at the entrance, and during peak hours, a van was parked right outside waiting for someone, blocking our way. We honked a few times, but the van wouldn't budge, while the doorman was just standing right nearby and completely ignoring it! I honestly don't know what his purpose is. Secondly, when calling housekeeping from the room phone, you always have to deal with an AI robot first and specifically ask to be transferred to a human agent, which is very inconvenient. Next, after finishing my shower and finding out the hair dryer had no power, I called to request a replacement. After waiting ten minutes with no word, I called again, and someone finally came to knock on the door. When I opened it, the staff member didn't even bring a hair dryer; she just walked straight into the room and told me the bathroom outlet probably had no power—which implies she already knew it was broken and the hotel hadn't fixed it yet! Walking into a guest's room without asking isn't very polite, and I hope they will ask for permission first in the future. However, once she realized there was no power, she happened to run into us the next day after we returned from our outing and let us know that the room outlet had been fixed, which is definitely worth a thumbs-up! Finally, the hotel pool is quite deep! Everyone, please be careful! The deepest part is right in the middle, reaching 1.8 meters! Please stay safe!"

"We were looking for a hotel with an ocean view in Bayuquan Shanhai Square and this one immediately caught our eye. Our stay here far exceeded our expectations! The location is absolutely perfect; you can walk to the beach in just two or three minutes. It's so convenient to head downstairs and enjoy clam digging, and the hotel even provides complimentary buckets and shovels for guests. Our ocean-view room was incredibly spacious and bright, with a private balcony offering expansive views. We could literally watch the entire sunset over the ocean from our bed. The room was meticulously clean, and we appreciated the separate wet and dry areas in the bathroom, the comfortable mattress, and the full set of branded toiletries. The breakfast buffet each morning was abundant and fresh, with a great variety of both Western and Chinese dishes. Zoe provided excellent service. Parking and dining were also very convenient. This hotel offers incredible value for money and is definitely our top choice for a seaside getaway in Bayuquan. We'll be staying here again for our next beach trip and wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing ocean-view vacation!"

"A good hotel is key to a successful trip! This hotel is very close to Xinghai Square, and across the bridge is an amusement park. The paths are flat, perfect for strollers or 'baby walkers' (though the area right outside the hotel entrance has cobblestones, which can be a bit bumpy for strollers). The room environment is excellent. We are a family of five – four adults and one child – and stayed in the 'Star Blue' room, which was perfectly spacious. It had a 1.8m bed downstairs plus a tatami mat upstairs, and even a single sofa that could be used for sleeping. The space felt generous. There's also a private little courtyard where you can hang kids' clothes to dry (as long as it's not raining). The hotel has a laundry room with a dryer, so no more bringing dirty clothes home!"

"The hotel is in a great location, with multiple bus lines, Metro Line 2, a supermarket, Zhongyuan Food Street, and Dalian Department Store nearby. Check-in was very fast, and the high-floor elevators weren't crowded. The room was clean and tidy, and the soundproofing was excellent. The front desk staff were very friendly. Definitely worth another stay!"

I originally booked a deluxe scenic suite, but upon check-in, the front desk surprised me with an upgrade to an even more luxurious Executive Ocean View Suite! From the reception on the first floor to the sky lobby on the 66th floor for check-in, every staff member was warm and attentive. The room was incredibly spacious, meticulously cleaned, and absolutely spotless. The high-altitude view was breathtaking, offering panoramic ocean views. I could even see the Venetian Water Town right below – the location is super convenient, very close to Xiding and WHERE·WHERE restaurants. Highly recommended!"
