Arrived quite late, but staff were there to guide me from the car and help with luggage. KK at the front desk processed my check-in quickly and smoothly. I had plans for the next day, so KK kindly arranged a quieter room for me, which I really appreciated. 🙏🏻 The room was refreshingly cool upon entering, as the air conditioning had already been turned on. The bedding was also very comfortable, leading to a pleasant night's sleep. The hotel features many traditional Chinese paintings of flowers and birds, and upon closer inspection, each one is unique – clearly a lot of effort went into them. Since I arrived late, I didn't book breakfast, but I heard it's served until 12 PM, so I'll definitely try it next time. Overall, it's highly recommended.

The best hotels in Wenchang are Hilton and Wyndham, and I've had a good stay at Wyndham before. This time I chose Hilton because it's close to the beach.
Concierge: Good, there was someone to meet us.
Lobby: Grand, but it would be better if the air conditioning were colder; Hainan Island has been too hot this year.
Room: We had a themed room. I suggest using rooms with better views for themed rooms in the future, as the view from our themed room was just average compared to a standard room.
Pool: Clean and hygienic. You need to register to use it, and the lifeguards are very dedicated, not slacking off at all. They were constantly moving around, watching the children in the water.
Breakfast: Tasted good.
Environment: Lots of aerospace models and popular science articles, which creates a great atmosphere.
It's very close to the beach, and you can see the launchpad when you look out.

This hotel is located near Haikou Bay. Just across Century Bridge, you'll find numerous popular spots like the Sports Library and Bund Center, making it incredibly convenient for getting around. The room was clean and tidy, offering a great view of Haikou Bay. In the evening, sitting on the balcony with friends, chatting, enjoying the sea breeze, and having a drink was incredibly relaxing and comfortable. It's perfect for business travelers or those on a layover. Downstairs, there's even an arcade, so it's great for families with kids too. Nancy's service was highly efficient; she quickly responded on WeChat and promptly arranged for anything we needed. Excellent value for money, highly recommended!

Bringing my elderly parents for a vacation in Sanya, I chose the Pullman Sanya Bay Resort, and the experience far exceeded our expectations – definitely a five-star recommendation! Before leaving, we even received a small gift and a thoughtful packed breakfast.
🏠 **Free Upgrade to a Twin Sea-View Room with Amazing Views**: Our room was on a high floor, with the balcony directly facing the azure sea and coconut groves. We could see the ocean from bed, and in the evening, we enjoyed the 'orange sea' sunset without even leaving the room. The room was incredibly quiet, and the bedding was soft and skin-friendly, ensuring my parents slept soundly every night.
💁 **Butler Vivi's Service Was Impeccable**: Before check-in, Vivi proactively contacted us to confirm our needs, and throughout our stay, she was responsive to every request. She even thoughtfully gave us a gift and checked in daily on my parents' well-being, truly feeling like a warm family member. The front desk staff were also very friendly and welcoming.
🏖️ **Exclusive Beach Access, So Friendly for Seniors**: The hotel has a dedicated underground passage with an elevator that leads directly to a private beach. No need to cross any roads, and it's just a few minutes' walk – safe and hassle-free. The beach is gentle with small waves, making it very pleasant for my parents to stroll. We also saw many interesting foreigners there.
🍽️ **Abundant Dining Options**: The breakfast offered a full range of Western and Chinese dishes, and the noodles and coconut porridge were very authentic. My parents found them both familiar and enjoyable.
Located just a 15-minute drive from the airport, the hotel's location is convenient. With its new facilities, warm service, and thoughtful consideration for seniors, our whole family unanimously praised it. We'll definitely stay here again next time!

The breakfast had a great variety, and I left feeling very satisfied. The room had an amazing view, and the TV supported screen mirroring, which was super convenient for watching shows. The environment was flawless, with sea views and lush greenery, making for a very relaxing stay. The service was also top-notch, and overall, it was a great experience. I would definitely consider staying here again! 🌅 🌅
This hotel is perfect for a family trip. It effortlessly offers everything you could want: an aquarium, a water park, a beach, outdoor swimming pools, grassy areas, palm trees, and an indoor kids' playground. Three days and two nights simply aren't enough time to enjoy it all.
We also watched the C show, mermaid show, and the dolphin and sea lion performances. The photography here is very professional.
The staff are plentiful, always ready to answer questions, and the service is excellent. A special thank you to our butler, Paopao Yu, for all her help during our stay. She recommended must-see performances, helped us with bookings, and answered all our questions, making us feel truly at home. Many thanks; it was definitely a worthwhile trip.
This is a paradise for children, so be prepared for a lively atmosphere.

The room was good value for money; cheap but as you’d expect for this price It was a little dated. The room was clean and the cleaner came in daily to make the bed and add fresh toilet products which was a nice touch.
The location was very good, short walk to the beach and bars. The view was pretty good too!
Only issue is the aircon, if like me, you like your room cold like a fridge you’ll be disappointed, however, it was comfortable.

Whenever I travel for work, I always stay at the Sofitel. The hotel's location is absolutely fantastic, right in the city center. The service is also excellent, and I particularly want to highlight how meticulous the housekeeping staff are. They clean every nook and cranny of the room so thoroughly, and they even helped me tidy up my clothes. It was a truly delightful experience.
Hygiene: The room hygiene was incredibly detailed.
Service: The housekeeping staff were very polite and delivered requests promptly.

Before coming to Sanya, my social media feeds were flooded with images of the Conifer Hotel's 'transparent infinity pool suspended 120 meters in the air.' To be honest, my expectations for 'influencer-hyped' hotels usually stop at getting great photos; I don't typically have high hopes for service or the overall experience. But this time, from the moment I arrived at the Conifer Hotel Sanya Bay, I knew I was wrong. This wasn't just a stay; it was a deeply healing journey for both body and soul.
**Environment and Hygiene: Everything you see brings peace of mind and comfort.**
First, I must commend the hotel's environment and hygiene. Sanya's climate is hot and humid, and many hotels inevitably have a hint of mustiness or dampness, but at the Conifer, this wasn't an issue at all. From the lobby to the corridors and guest rooms, there was a subtle, pleasant fragrance in the air. The floors were gleaming, and every piece of furniture in the public areas was spotless.
Upon entering the room, I, as a 'germaphobe,' was completely reassured. The bedding was pristine white and soft, with that unique fluffiness that comes from being sun-dried. The metal faucets in the bathroom area were polished to a shine, without any water stains. The glass doors of the bathtub and shower had no fingerprints or soap residue. What touched me most was how perfectly the housekeeping staff timed their cleaning; they always tidied up while we were out for breakfast. When we returned to the room, it was always a 'new world' – sparkling clean, bed neatly made, and toiletries replenished. The hotel's hygiene management was truly exceptional, allowing guests to walk barefoot in the room without a care, enjoying every moment of their vacation with complete peace of mind.
**Butler Service: With Vivian, no request is an issue.**
I've stayed in many five-star hotels and encountered 'butler' service before, but the attentiveness and thoughtfulness of Butler Vivian were truly rare. Even before I arrived at the hotel, Vivian proactively added me on WeChat and sent detailed check-in instructions and the hotel's activity schedule. She didn't use a standardized, robotic tone but spoke like a local friend, greeting me warmly.
What moved me even more was on the day of check-out. Since our flight was late, we anticipated a long wait. Vivian, the day before we left, inquired about our itinerary and helped us arrange a late check-out, allowing us to rest longer in the hot weather. Her service wasn't an obvious attempt to please, but rather a subtle, pervasive care – she always thought of our needs before we even had to ask. If the hotel's hardware is the body, then Vivian's service is the soul infused within it.
**Special Activities: Sound Bath and Yoga, an unexpected spiritual spa.**
If the infinity pool is the Conifer's 'signature card,' then the hotel's yoga and sound bath activities are definitely 'hidden gems' overlooked by many. This time, I specifically signed up for the morning sea-view yoga class.
The class was held on the hotel's top-floor observation deck. As I unrolled my yoga mat, accompanied by the gentle morning sea breeze and the rising sun, my body and mind completely merged with nature. The yoga instructor's professionalism and meticulousness far exceeded my expectations. There weren't many students in the class, but the teacher didn't just go through the motions perfunctorily. She would go to each student, gently correcting their postures. Especially when I was doing a downward-facing dog and couldn't straighten my back, she immediately came over and used her hands to help me relax my spine, gently explaining the points of exertion. That half-hour class not only stretched my weary body from travel but also helped me find a long-lost inner peace.
Even more impactful was the sound bath healing activity that followed. The teacher instructed us to close our eyes and lie down as she gently tapped bowls of various sizes. The distant, profound sounds seemed to possess a penetrating quality, traveling from the top of my head to my feet. The vibrational frequencies of the bowls created a wonderful resonance with my body's chakras. I felt my tense nerves gradually release, and my consciousness drifted between wakefulness and a semi-dreamlike state.
It's no exaggeration to say that if the Conifer Hotel hadn't offered such high-quality healing activities, my trip to Sanya might have just been a superficial pleasure of 'sea-gazing + photo-taking.' These two activities elevated my vacation into a thorough decompression and rejuvenation, definitely a commendable highlight of the hotel.
**Conclusion: A perfect, holistic experience.**
From the stunning 'influencer-famous' infinity pool to the impeccable environment and hygiene; from the warm, family-like care of Butler Vivian to the deep healing brought by the yoga and sound bath activities – everything the Conifer Hotel Sanya Bay offered me far exceeded the value of just a guest room. It made me realize that true luxury isn't about how much marble and gold leaf are used, but about the just-right comfort in every detail, and the sincere, radiant care in the eyes of every service staff member.
If you're planning a trip to Sanya, don't just quickly scroll past the Conifer on those popular lists. Take your time, stay here for a few days, book a yoga class, fall asleep to the sound of the singing bowls, and hopefully, encounter a butler like Vivian. Trust me, this will be your best vacation investment of the year. Out of ten, I'd give it eleven.

GGuest UserDue to noise issues in our previous lake-view family room, we reported it to Gina, who then moved us to a family room in the main building. Overall, this room had lower ceilings and older facilities than the previous one, but it was more spacious. The best part was how quiet it was; after 10 PM, there was virtually no noise outside, which was great for light sleepers. I really appreciate Gina from Guest Services for her attention to detail; she even prepared a small cake for the child, who was thrilled.
The hotel pool's bubble activity is every Tuesday and Thursday at 4:30 PM. My child had so much fun they completely forgot themselves, but then developed a fever that evening. When I asked the hotel for an ear thermometer, they replied that they only had mercury thermometers.
How could an A+ parent-child hotel not have an ear thermometer? While an ear thermometer might not be as accurate as a mercury one, it's difficult to use a mercury thermometer with very young children who might not cooperate. Of course, we usually bring our own ear thermometer when we travel, but there are always unexpected situations, like forgetting it this time.
Service: Most of the restaurant staff, cleaning ladies in public areas, and bellhops at the entrance actively greeted us, and they were all very good.
Getting Around: There's a night market within walking distance of the hotel. The beach is just a left turn out of the hotel and across the road. The hotel can arrange a car to Yalong Bay Tropical Paradise Forest Park, which was a filming location for 'If You Are the One 2' – just ask the Golden Key concierge in the lobby.
For other places, you generally need to take a taxi. For example, if you want to go to West Island, it's at least a 45-minute taxi ride. If you're staying for three days or less, I honestly recommend just staying at the hotel. Don't venture out too much, or you'll lose the meaning of a vacation and get too tired.
Issues encountered in the room:
1. The most memorable thing was that my child's white socks turned black very quickly after walking on the floor. It seemed the room floor wasn't mopped daily, as I also saw hair near the dining table that hadn't been cleaned up. However, the housekeeping staff were quite considerate; they noticed we needed more water and directly provided 8 bottles. Linens and room consumables were fully replenished after previous guests checked out. But when our extended stay room was cleaned the next day, they took away the child's bathrobe and didn't replace it, nor did they replenish consumables. I had to call later that night to request them. Overall, it was easy to tell that different people were cleaning on different days.
2. There were also some hardware issues, such as the curtain and screen window switches being reversed. The lighting modes were quite unintuitive; for example, there was no night light mode or a mode to only turn on the lights above the bedside table. The shower drain worked better than in the previous room, flowing smoothly without overflowing. However, the hot water in the shower took too long to come out – definitely over ten seconds – so long that I thought hot water wasn't coming out at all.
3. For dining, we only experienced breakfast and the buffet dinner. My child particularly enjoyed the fruit at the buffet dinner and the mermaid show. The food quality overall wasn't particularly outstanding; it was just enough to fill you up, with no dishes leaving a special impression. The photo is of breakfast.
Long after checking out, I realized I had left some items, but I didn't receive any call or feedback from the hotel. Although if they had called, I probably would have said to discard them, I wonder if the current hotel process for lost and found items is to wait for guests to call and inquire, otherwise, they assume it's not wanted and dispose of it?
We experienced the afternoon tea and travel photography included in the package. We didn't go to the DIY activity.

GGuest UserOur stay at Wanda Realm during this Sanya trip far exceeded our expectations! The hotel is situated in a prime location in Haitang Bay, just a few minutes' walk from the pristine white sand beach, and the ocean views are absolutely stunning. We booked a sea-view room, and the scenery was fantastic, plus the room was spotless. The breakfast spread was also very generous. Our butler, Linna, provided exceptional service as well. Overall, we were extremely satisfied with our stay.
GGuest UserHaving experienced the InterContinental Sanya Haitang Bay, and considering our itinerary, I decided to try the InterContinental Sanya Haitang Bay. The day before our check-in, Kaylee from guest relations proactively contacted me to confirm the details and made thoughtful arrangements for us. 👍
On the day of our check-in, it was pouring rain in Haitang Bay. We were stuck with our luggage in the duty-free shop, watching the rain show no signs of stopping. I contacted Kaylee to ask if the hotel could send someone to pick us up. Kaylee informed me that the hotel didn't have vehicles that could go to the duty-free shop. However, the hotel staff later sent umbrellas for us, helped us move our luggage to the hotel's side entrance, and then the hotel shuttle took us to the lobby. 👍
The hotel lobby is much larger than the InterContinental Sanya Dadonghai, and the overall scale feels comparable to the Westin Wanning/Lingshui.
The room was spacious, bright, and comfortable. The fruit was delicious, and the room was equipped with Baishui Mountain mineral water, with Pure Enjoyment still water for refills. During our stay, whenever I contacted Kaylee, she responded immediately and acted quickly, even when she was off duty, which was impressive! So nice! 👍
Before coming, I learned that the hotel has a large fish tank with many fish, including sea turtles and manta rays. So, I took my child to the viewing tunnel on B2. My child was deeply fascinated by the fish, especially when they saw a giant grouper. My child blurted out, ”Look, fish 2.0!” I was puzzled, and my child explained it was like ”oil tanker 2.0,” with a bunch of smaller fish (like planes) following it. 🤭 We also saw a mermaid show. However, due to the distance of the performance area and limited visibility at the bottom of the tank, we could only see silhouettes. Fortunately, there were pictures of the mermaid show on the tunnel wall, which allowed me to explain it to my child in detail. The entire tunnel wall was covered with科普资料 (scientific information) about various fish, allowing for both viewing and learning. 👍 The tunnel also had multiple observation windows, so you could find your best viewing angle. 👍
The hotel boasts a vast lawn. Looking out, the skyline, the ocean, the greenery, and the lawn were truly refreshing. 👍
The waves in Haitang Bay are indeed strong and powerful, far exceeding those in Wanning and Lingshui. The beach quality is much better than Yalong Bay. We even encountered crabs during the day. 🤗
The breakfast restaurant was spacious, with ample seating. Even during peak hours, we didn't see guests waiting in line. The breakfast spread was rich, and they even offered specialty Xinglong coffee.
The lobby staff were enthusiastic and all smiles. Seeing us with our luggage, they proactively helped us move it. 👍
Big kudos again to Kaylee from guest relations! 👍 And kudos to the hotel for its excellent service! 👍
GGuest UserMy stay at Yalong Bay Mangrove Tree Resort was absolutely perfect this time, and I especially want to commend our butler, Coral! The hotel's facilities are outstanding. Seventy percent of the rooms offer direct sea views, and the coconut grove and lawn create a fantastic photo op. The resort also boasts a full range of water activities, a gym, and tennis courts, so you'll never get bored, even if you spend the whole day there.
Coral, our butler, was incredibly thoughtful and responsible. Even though she normally finishes at 6 PM, last night she was still diligently answering all my questions at 8 PM, showing patience and promptness throughout. She proactively brought us fresh fruit and milk, little touches that were so heartwarming and helped melt away our travel fatigue. Today, my plans changed and I needed a late checkout. After I spoke with Coral, she immediately and efficiently coordinated with the front desk to arrange it, saving me the hassle of going back and forth. Her actions were swift and thorough.
Coral is gentle, proactive, and always puts the guest's perspective first. Her sense of responsibility and professionalism are both top-notch. The excellent resort facilities, combined with such warm and attentive butler service, significantly enhanced our vacation happiness. Next time I stay, I'll definitely request Coral again. I highly recommend her to anyone visiting Yalong Bay!

LLirongzhaozhaoOur family of three (with a three-year-old) stayed for five days and four nights, and we pretty much spent all our time at the hotel or nearby. It's just a few minutes' walk to the beach, and overall, it was excellent! 👍 You really have to experience it yourself to know how good it is. A big thanks to Sunny for her attentiveness; even during the busy May Day holiday, her replies were quick, and our requests were handled promptly and efficiently!
🏨 **Facilities**: It has a sort of vintage, old-money vibe – spacious, which I really liked. No issues with our stay, and the duvet wasn't too thick! It was just right for sleeping with the AC on at night; adults weren't cold, and the child wasn't hot! Plus, when we asked for a bed rail, the housekeeping staff literally knocked on our door right after we finished speaking. They installed it incredibly fast, without any fuss, and were gone in a flash – unbelievably quick!
🧹 **Cleanliness**: The entire hotel was spotless and refreshing, and room cleaning was very efficient! Sometimes we only needed the trash taken out and nothing else, and a quick word to Sunny was all it took – everything was perfectly arranged.
🌴 **Environment**: It's got a kind of retro American garden aesthetic, definitely a resort feel! The public areas are large and beautiful, and the night view is stunning. The big lawn is absolutely amazing (yyds)! All three pools are lovely, and the children's pool is truly excellent 🛝. The hotel has so many picturesque spots for photos; it felt like we could get all those trending Sanya photo ops right here at the hotel! The value of hotels on Haitang Bay is definitely on the rise.
🍳 **Dining**: Breakfast was very rich, with slight variations each day. The kids' section had plenty of options too, with a dedicated area for babies, as well as large round tables and multi-person tables, perfect for big families. The Western restaurant by the pool was also great and delicious. Ordering takeout was convenient and delivered quickly; we just had to pick it up at the entrance, which I thought was fine, like a little walk 🚶.
🏋️ **Gym**: Very good! It's located near the children's adventure playground. Most of the equipment had usage tutorials, making them simple and easy to operate. Our family of three tried out all the equipment, and the child had even more fun than going out!
👶 **Kids' Club**: The area for younger children is a bit small, but still enough to play in. More toys would be even better. There's another larger one for kids aged 5 and up, which costs extra. Kids can even experience riding horses 🐎 and ostriches right here at the hotel – can you believe it?
📷 Because we had our child with us, we usually only visited one attraction per day and always came back to the hotel for an afternoon nap. We spent a lot of time at the hotel and never felt bored. Even during May Day, it wasn't overly crowded, very orderly, and quiet. There were so many things to do at the hotel: swimming, walking, watching small animals, enjoying the sea, digging in the sand, afternoon tea, playing in the kids' club, riding the mini train, collecting shells, and more. In short, we were all very satisfied, had a very pleasant holiday, and it was excellent value for money 👍. We will definitely come again next time! 🥳

The best thing about this hotel is how convenient it is to go for a swim at the beach, and the public beach area is also beautiful. The 'glass sea' in Yalong Bay is truly stunning and so clear! CChuqiuyangguangWhat truly sets Banyan Tree Sanya apart is its unparalleled privacy. Each standalone villa is enveloped by lush greenery, creating a natural barrier, and features its own private pool and courtyard plunge pool, offering an exclusive and tranquil space. We had a dedicated 24-hour butler, Zheng Delin, who was incredibly responsive to all our needs. For our anniversary, he even arranged a complimentary room setup, which was a lovely touch and added to the special occasion. The resort boasts a secluded private bay, with hardly any outside visitors. The sunsets over the ocean in the evening were romantic and therapeutic, and the happy hour at the beach bar created a fantastic atmosphere. Every room is equipped with Banyan Tree's signature aromatherapy toiletries, and upon check-in, we received a special welcome gift and fresh fruit. The floating afternoon tea experience was exceptional. The resort's buggies are available for pick-up and drop-off at any time, ensuring a smooth and uncrowded experience. It's truly a luxurious choice for couples on their honeymoon or anyone looking for a relaxing escape, far from the hustle and bustle of crowds.

AAnonymous UserThe room was quite spacious with a beautiful view of the sea outside the window, offering a comfortable sight of the distant Century Bridge, which was rather spectacular.
Hygienics: The hotel is a bit old, but the basic cleanliness is acceptable and standard.
Staff: Polite and enthusiastic. When we arrived by taxi, the staff proactively opened the car door and handled our luggage. They did the same when we left. They greeted us politely, and because we entered and exited the hotel multiple times during our stay, the reception staff at each entrance would come forward to open the car door, greet us politely, and had a friendly attitude. They were all very dedicated.
Breakfast: It was quite rich. We had breakfast around 10:00 AM, and when food ran out, it was quickly replenished. The food was fresh and distinctive.
The host at the entrance, the one with the 'blessed' demeanor, saw children running and would politely tell them to slow down, then spread his arms to escort them from behind. The more efficient staff member enthusiastically showed us to our table and was eager to assist whenever we needed help. The staff all had smiles and high spirits. The auntie at the noodle station was polite in answering questions and even asked about our preferred toppings. The chef at the omelet station also greeted us politely.
Overall, many positives.
Drawback: The room's air conditioning wasn't cold enough. When the fan speed was at its highest, the noise was very loud. We later adjusted the fan speed to medium, which was barely acceptable but didn't affect our sleep.
I've written all this so that future guests can see a genuine review before checking in.

MMs.TeeI had such an amazing stay at the JW Marriott Hotel Sanya Dadonghai Bay. The location is honestly perfect — everything you need is right there. You can simply walk down to the beach, enjoy water activities, and explore so many restaurants nearby. It’s the kind of place where you never feel isolated because there’s always something happening around you.
One of the things I loved most is that the hotel is connected to the Shanhaitian Resort Sanya, Autograph Collection. If you’re staying at JW Marriott, you can also enjoy their pools and facilities, which really adds to the whole experience.
The hotel itself has so much to offer, especially for families. There are daily kids’ activities, and my son was never bored — there was always something fun planned. The playground is huge and honestly looks futuristic, like something out of a movie. It’s such a dream space for children. They also have a beautiful swimming pool, which makes it even more enjoyable to spend your days there.
I also visited Casa Corona Beach Club, and it was such a vibe. The atmosphere, the food, and the whole setting made it a really memorable experience.
The spa was another highlight — so relaxing and exactly what you need when you’re trying to unwind and take care of yourself. On top of that, the service throughout the hotel was incredible. The staff really made everything feel smooth, welcoming, and special.
It’s honestly just a great place to be with your family. I would highly recommend this hotel if you’re looking for a beautiful beachfront stay with lots of activities, especially if you’re traveling with kids. It truly has everything — location, experiences, and comfort.
