"It's not a new building. It felt like staying at my grandma's house. There was some black mold in the bathtub and the pillow smelled a bit (though my nose might just be too sensitive). It wasn't unhygienic, but don't expect a new, sparkling clean room. They lent me a kettle and pool towels, which was nice. The staff were very good. The location is excellent for swimming as the sea is very close. The best part is the cost-performance. For this price, with breakfast, partial ocean view, and in a good location, it's fantastic. The food was delicious every day! I especially liked the miso soup and the three kinds of fruit. Even on the day of the typhoon when the power went out, they still let us have the buffet and eat in our rooms!"

"For our last two nights in Honolulu, we switched to Prince Waikiki because my daughter was scared of the pigeons constantly visiting our Hilton balcony. While this Japanese-style hotel doesn't have a resort vibe, it's quite comfortable, and the yacht club view from the window offers a different kind of scenery. On the first night, we found the hairdryer was broken, but thankfully, they were quick to respond. The hotel elevators are a bit slow, but parking is convenient at $1/hour on the street outside, which is much cheaper than the hotel's parking."

"No kidding, I've stayed at this hotel before, about eight years ago, and I had such a great experience that I decided to book it again this time. The hotel's location is fantastic; turn left for the beach and right for the commercial street. I opted for a sea-view room, and sitting on the balcony enjoying the scenery truly gives you that vacation feeling!"

"It’s a nice resort in a great location, however plenty of hidden fees, we paid for breakfast which wasn’t anything special, scrambled eggs from powder, coffee was pretty bad and weak and you had to pay extra which we only learned about when we paid 160$ for breakfast. Lack of healthy food and not suited for people who eat healthy unprocessed food.
I really liked the towel service, it was very convenient. Our room this time however (we stayed in the same hotel a week earlier) was not as great as our previous, it was more used, the fridge constantly leaking, and the air con did not work as well as in the previous room (it was ground floor with garden)
And the worst thing was, I requested a quiet room but we got one of the connected rooms and we could not fall asleep till round 23:00 when a screaming family next door finally put their kids to bed. It was really noisy. Big plus for the pools and hot tub. They really were nice"

"The room was very clean, and the pool was great for swimming and sunbathing. Stepping out of the hotel, you're right on Waikiki Beach's commercial street, making it convenient for dining and shopping. We stayed on the 9th floor, looking down at a rooftop. The downside was that the music from what seemed to be other hotels' bars nearby was quite loud late at night, which could affect light sleepers. The hotel breakfast was typical American, but offered average value for money. The hotel's parking lot uses a mezzanine style, so remember your spot when coming and going."

"The room was a bit small, about 30 square meters, but perfectly adequate for two adults and one child, especially since we spent most of our time outdoors anyway and only came back to the hotel to shower and sleep. The hotel's location is excellent – it's very close to the Hilton beach. If you head right out of the hotel and cross the traffic light, there's a 7-Eleven where you can buy a bus pass and snacks. Keep an eye out just before you reach the 7-Eleven intersection, as there's a small food truck market there with delicious and affordable food. P.S. There's an airport shuttle bus that pretty much drops you off right at the hotel entrance. However, if you're looking for the shuttle right after you land, it's a bit of a walk from the terminal. We actually tried out the airport bus route specifically when we were leaving, and it took about forty minutes."

"The hotel was clean, the staff were friendly, and being right by the sea was wonderful. However, if you're sensitive to noise, definitely avoid the rooms in the building undergoing renovation. The construction noise is mostly in the mornings, which is fine since you're probably out anyway. But the sound of the waves at night? It's insane. I'm not sure if the door to the terrace isn't soundproofed well or if the waves are just incredibly loud, but even an ASMR lover couldn't handle this. It wasn't a gentle lapping, but a constant, crashing roar that often kept me from getting a deep sleep. Other than that, parking was easy with free street parking, and the facilities were clean, which was great."

"The Disney Hotel in Hawaii is indeed a Disney in the dream. Sunshine ☀️ Beach 🏖️ Coconut Tree 🌴, the hotel staff is also very warm and thoughtful. After arriving at the hotel, they immediately changed from i to e, especially the interactive link and Disney's cockroaches are particularly happy 🥳 really spent the magical three days. 🪄🏰 I will come again next time."

"Great location, just a few minutes from Waikiki Beach. We booked an ocean view room, which was beautiful, and the view wasn't obstructed by the parking lot. The balcony was lovely, very relaxing to sit there, eat, and enjoy the ocean view.
The best part was that even though I'm not a member, they gave me my room at 12 PM, which was incredibly thoughtful.
The Asian cleaning lady was exceptionally kind and enthusiastic every time she saw us. We didn't leave a big tip, but she still thanked us repeatedly and even offered us coffee.
Beach towels can be picked up and returned by scanning your room card. Breakfast is served in the restaurant on the first floor, opening at 6 AM."

With 1,100 rooms across 2 towers, this hotel is the perfect place for business travellers to escape the crowds; every room features complimentary Wi-Fi, a microwave oven and refrigerator. Travelers will find everything they need to keep it all within budget. There is a daily amenity fee that includes cultural activities, dining perks, refillable bottles and more.
"I stayed three nights in a partial ocean view room and four nights in an ocean view room. If the price difference isn't significant, definitely opt for the ocean view room – the experience is so much better (the partial ocean view room barely has any ocean view to speak of).
The room itself was decent, and the cleanliness was okay, but the towels had a strange smell.
The hotel's location is super convenient. The second floor connects directly to the Ala Moana shopping center, and there's a Don Quijote next door, making it very easy to shop and eat. It's about a 10-minute taxi ride to Waikiki, or a 30-minute walk. Personally, I prefer the nearby Ala Moana Beach, it's very chill.
Car rental parking is also convenient. Parking is charged from 1 PM, costing $41 for 24 hours.
