"My friend booked a cave suite, and I opted for a panoramic room for the window, even though it wasn't a suite and was 100 lira more expensive per night than the cave suite. I felt the cave suite, despite having no window, was actually bigger. The breakfast spread had a lot of items, but only a few were edible; mostly appetizers and dips. For lunch, I ordered ravioli at the restaurant – absolute disaster! It was so bad I spat it out after one bite because the pasta tasted undercooked. I reported it to the front desk manager, and they waived the charge, which was about 50-60 lira. I originally wanted the hotel to book a Turkish Night show for me, but they only accepted cash. After checking online, I found the restaurant they booked for it had terrible reviews, so I canceled. The welcome fruit, which I redeemed with 1 point, wasn't delivered. After I contacted customer service, they sent a replacement of fruit, snacks, and drinks. Later, they also provided sunset drinks. The hotel's attitude was very good and generous about this. I heard the manager is Chinese, and they seem to understand Chinese business practices well. The room itself was fine, but the location felt less convenient than staying right in Göreme town."

"A beautiful hotel and a wonderful experience. Goreme is so beautiful and this hotel is located not too far from the central places where you can find lots of great restaurants and souvenir shops. The room is naturally cool and beautifully decorated. We enjoyed the whole atmosphere at the hotel and the outside seating areas are perfect for relaxing after a long day of touring. "Cappadocia Cave Lodge was a great base for this friends trip! The rooms were comfortable and artfully decorated- I felt like I was living in a modern cave. The Lodge’s breakfast has been fresh and tasty. The staff have been very polite and accommodating- they brought me coffee when I sat in the hotel’s outdoor roof area to watch the hot air balloons rise over the horizon- such a nice gesture! The location itself is a short (if hilly!) walk down to the city center with lots of inviting shops (carpets, antiques- just to name a few) and cafes along the way! Would stay here again!"

"Came here to see the hot air balloons... and wow, it's really dry here [emoji: face with tears of joy]. I opted for a chain hotel instead of a cave hotel, just to play it safe, and I was pleasantly surprised by the food! The breakfast spread was extensive, and we also had dinner at the hotel. It's truly perfect for Chinese palates. We ordered a pizza – it was huge! – beef noodles, pan-fried salmon, and pan-fried beef. All of these I personally tried and can highly recommend. For two people, a meal was around 2500-3000 Lira, which is pretty good value for money."

"Absolutely fantastic and reliable! It's only a 5-minute walk to the viewpoint and an 8-minute walk to the city center. You can watch the hot air balloons take off right from the terrace, no need to chase after them. Breakfast was great! What really stood out was on check-out day, we had an early flight and wouldn't make it to breakfast. We asked the responsible gentleman (who looked like Lewandowski, haha!) and he prepared two breakfast boxes for us to take on the road, complete with juice and sandwiches. We were so touched! Book this place! It's beautiful! Great location! One of the most satisfying stays this trip!"

"This was one of the best hotels I've ever stayed at.
The rooms were spacious and clean, and the views from the rooms were amazing!
The breakfast was lavish and I looked forward to it every morning. The staff were very kind and always polite.
The mascot cat, Kuroneko, was also cute.
Uchisar is at a higher altitude than Goreme, so the views are generally beautiful and I personally recommend it. (It's not too far from the hot air balloon spot either.)
I'd love to stay here again if I come to Cappadocia!"

The terrace seating was excellent!
However, the hot water stopped working on the second night, and although they tried to fix it for an hour, I had to put up with a lukewarm shower, which was disappointing. It was a shame, especially since the hotel had a bathtub.

Guest UserThe hotel service was excellent! They helped with our luggage and even arranged a bus to Kayseri for us. I accidentally broke the glass on a light bulb, and not only did they not charge me, but they also helped clean it up.
The hotel breakfast was incredibly rich and delicious. I highly recommend booking the breakfast with your stay – it was the best breakfast I had during my ten days in Turkey across all the hotels! There was a great variety of sweet fruits and many other dishes.
The scenery is beautiful, and we enjoyed watching the hot air balloons from the hotel terrace, accompanied by some adorable cats and dogs. Oh! After watching the hot air balloons in the morning, two little kittens even snuck into my room! It was a delightful surprise. If you love animals, this hotel is definitely for you. I will recommend this hotel to my Chinese friends who plan to visit Turkey, as the service experience was truly outstanding!

Guest UserWe stayed at Potamia Cave Hotel for 3 nights, and it was truly an unforgettable experience. The cave room was beautifully designed. Cozy, clean, and full of authentic caves. Every corner of the hotel felt magical and thoughtfully maintained.
The staff were incredibly warm, kind, and attentive. From the moment we arrived, we felt genuinely welcomed and well taken care of.
Breakfast was one of the highlights of our stay, with delicious Turkish breakfast and a great variety of local dishes that made every morning special.
The atmosphere of the hotel is peaceful and romantic, perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring Cappadocia. Waking up in a cave room was such a unique and memorable experience.
Thank you to the entire Potamia Cave Hotel team for the wonderful hospitality. We truly enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Cappadocia. We would love to come back again!

Very good hotel, the room is large, not stuffy or damp at all, the children like the small cave in the room very much. It is also very beautiful to watch the hot air balloons on the hotel terrace in the morning, and there are hot air balloons flying low.
