Romantic Hotels in Kedah, Malaysia

It is a great experience to stay at the Hotel for 3 nights. The food was very good during breakfast and the cafe on the roof top is fantastic with very good food, beautiful views and friendly staff. Not to forget the Infinity Swimming Pool.

The staff here are incredibly welcoming. There's also a car rental company on the ground floor of the hotel, which is super convenient. The hotel facilities are very new, and there's a pool at the back. Plus, each guest gets a complimentary drink upon check-in, with various options to choose from. The only, and I mean *only*, downside is that you can hear cars 'street racing' at night, which is an issue with all hotels in this area, even late at night. There's really nothing to be done about it. I've stayed at many great hotels in Langkawi, but this street racing noise is something that can't be changed.

This is a beautiful resort with three swimming pools, including one specifically for children, and they provide plenty of balls and swimming rings. It's located on Cenang Beach and Central Beach, which boasts a long coastline perfect for swimming. There are many restaurants nearby, including one that's particularly delicious and serves generous portions. A convenience store and swimwear shop are just a ten-minute walk away. There's also a shopping mall about a thirty-minute walk, making it a very lively area with various travel agencies and car rental services. The hotel is very environmentally friendly, providing water in glass bottles.

The hotel is located a short drive from the airport; but also tucked away from the noise of the city. Taxi fare to tourist hotspots is generally low (MYR11-23) due to its convenient location. Perfect for travellers who want a scenic and tranquil break from their busy lives, but also want easy access to shops and nightlife (food stalls, etc.). Super neat rooms and excellent staff all around. The only reason I didn't give it a perfect score is because the fitness room needs some work, and it takes about half an hour for the a/c in there to cool the space down. Not great if you want a quick workout before heading out for the day. Overall, highly recommend! I would come back here again without a second thought. Worth every penny!

I had an incredible stay at La Villa Langkawi. The people and the service were absolutely amazing - warm, attentive, and genuinely caring. Everything from the villa itself to the little touches made my stay memorable. It’s honestly one of the best hotels I’ve ever stayed at. Highly recommended for anyone looking for comfort, privacy, and outstanding hospitality.

My stay at Langkapuri Inn didn’t quite live up to my expectations, to be honest. The room was definitely spacious, but the interior felt rather basic and could be improved. Adding simple furniture, such as a couch, would make the space more comfortable. The washroom, in particular, could benefit from some renovation. That said, the rooftop area is a nice highlight — it’s a relaxing spot to unwind at night, and they even screen movies there, which creates a chill atmosphere. The location is also convenient. It’s an easy walk to Pantai Cenang, and there are plenty of food options nearby. Overall, while the facilities could use some upgrading, the location and rooftop vibe are definite plus points.

Book sea view studio at a higher price due to the Chinese New Year holidays. Waited for almost 2 over hrs before room is ready when close to 3pm. However was very disappointed when check into room n as seaview studio room on 7th floor is blocked by a hill in the center n major construction looking down from the balcony. Request for a change of room to higher floor, view rooms on 2 other higher floors and finally settled on the 11th floor which is a better seaview eventot the hill in front with construction site is still there. Would rate the hotel only at probably 4 stars or below with average rooms furnishings , average spread breakfast, spots bad maintained cleanliness over the public areas n a rooftop which is squeezing all sunbathe chairs n tables n a bar with an average size swimming pool. Reception staffs are not as well trained but they are trying their best to fulfill most guests queries. The rooftop is quite windy but offers good photo view. This hotel should be relatively new only opened a few years ago but idoesn’t match the prices of a 5 stars or 5 diamonds rated.
