"Overall, the hotel is definitely showing its age 😂 Some parts could really use a refresh — the elevators were a little creaky, some of the lift flooring was already coming apart, and we did notice some mould in the bathroom.
The shower could also be improved. The water pressure was quite weak, and even with the heater on, the water was basically room temperature at best. There was also some kind of automatic spraying system in the room that was surprisingly loud whenever it went off, although we eventually got used to it. Our room didn’t have the nicest view either, unfortunately.
That being said, for an overnight stay, it was still perfectly livable and did the job. The location was convenient, and the staff were nice and pleasant throughout our stay.
The saving grace was honestly the breakfast! 😂 There was a teh tarik cart that came around with its own background music, which was SUCH a vibe. There was also someone walking around with a tray of French toast serving guests, and those little touches made the whole breakfast experience unexpectedly fun and memorable.
Overall, I wouldn’t expect anything luxurious as the property is clearly on the older side and could use some renovation, but it’s convenient and perfectly okay for a short overnight stay. The friendly staff and breakfast experience definitely helped make the stay much better!"
