"Very nice I would like to come here again and spend a bit more time. I did two nights and three days but maybe next time I would like to stay 3 to 4 nights to explore the city because I was only staying in the hotel. They have a nice hot spring. I had a problem for my skin but going to a hot spring few times my skin become better and the service was excellent. The staff are very nice and polite. Also professional Food was good. I really love the experience what I had here. I recommend other people as well especially who have a children small or family. You can use this hotel."

"This hotel exceeded our expectations!!! The view was amazing, the food was absolutely delicious (Did not look like hotel food at all!!! 9-10 courses!), the service was great (Provided free service from bus stations to the hotel, gives midnight snacks and takes your dinner up to your room, and serves you each course) and most importantly, the onsen’s were AMAZING. If you booked a big room including the onsen, there would be a foot bath included, and if you booked a small room without the onsen, you could always go down to the public onsen which was just as good!!! Overall, best hotel we stayed at jn Japan!"

"Stayed at The Gran Resort Princess Fujikawaguchiko and had a great overall experience.
The room was very spacious, and I like that they offer mostly twin and triple bed setups, which feel comfortable and practical. The best part is that every room has a view of Mt. Fuji, which makes the stay really special.
The onsen was also very nice—clean, relaxing, and a great way to unwind after a day out. Service was excellent, staff were friendly and helpful throughout the stay.
Food was decent, nothing too standout but still enjoyable.
Location-wise, it worked well for me since I rented a car. However, it might be less convenient if you rely on public transport.
Overall, a great stay if you want space, a good onsen, and a guaranteed Fuji view."

"Hotel Mt Fuji has the best views of Lake Yamanaka and Mt Fuji. It is located high up on a hill and looks down over the lake. Shuttle bus service to and from Yamamakako iriguchi was excellent. The staff in 7 eleven kindly called for me to be picked up on arrival and again on the second day of my stay. The breakfast was the best in the past 2 weeks of my trip. Japanese breakfast is so delicious. The omelette chef was such a perfectionist and each was made perfectly. Staff were particularly helpful and the public baths , there are 2 different locations ,are excellent, both very different. The hotel itself is very old and dated and could do with a renovation. However saying that, the room was very spacious and comfortable. I loved being able to open the window which had an insect screen and have fresh air. The only thing I did not like is that you could not wear your yukata to breakfast. No big deal really. I would highly recommend Hotel Mt Fuji."

"The hotel's location is unbeatable, and the rooftop hot springs are a definite plus! Breakfast also has some unique dishes. Those are the pros. As for the cons, the hotel is a bit old, and the Wi-Fi is incredibly slow. Check-out is at 10 AM, and there are no blackout curtains. The last hotel shuttle to the bus terminal is at 10:10 AM, which essentially forces you to check out early. Breakfast only starts at 7:40 AM and finishes by 9:15 AM! Overall, it's not great value for money. The price of around 2000 is ridiculously high; 800 would be more reasonable."

"Right outside the hotel is Lake Yamanaka, which is quieter and more affordable than Lake Kawaguchiko. Plus, there are plenty of restaurants around that stay open late, so you don't have to worry about finding food at night. This means there's no real need to book dinner with your stay. The buffet dinner wasn't anything special, though the fruit was quite good. It's a bit of a distance to Fuji-Q Highland and Lake Kawaguchiko if you're coming from abroad, taking about an hour by bus."

This is a new type of ryokan where all rooms are equipped with private saunas. Because it is completely private, you can enjoy a relaxing experience that is gentle on your body and mind without worrying about being seen. Fuji and Lake Yamanaka in front of you. Fuji, and Lake Yamanaka are right in front of you. The water from the sauna is mild on the skin, and the water from the underground Mt. The outdoor air bath is comfortable even in the summer time, as Lake Yamanakako has a climate similar to that of Helsinki, Finland, the home of the sauna. In addition to such an excellent sauna experience, the rooms are colorful and beautifully decorated. The cuisine is prepared with fresh ingredients from the rich land of Yamanashi and other parts of Japan. Please spend a special time filled with relaxation in a ryokan that incorporates abundant blessings of nature.
"Hotel Room: Features a built-in sauna, and offers stunning views of Mount Fuji directly from the room. Fuji appears incredibly large and close to the naked eye. The room decor is very tasteful.
Hotel Location: Situated on the lower-left side of Lake Yamanakako on the map. There's a bus stop right outside (though buses are infrequent). Within a 2-minute walk, there's a delicious hamburg steak restaurant. A 7-Eleven is about 5-10 minutes away, and you can rent bicycles near the 7-Eleven (the hotel also offers bike rentals, but they are mountain bikes, not electric, costing 2000 yen per hour or 4000 yen per day). If you walk another 10-15 minutes, you can feed swans in a designated area managed by locals (a family of three needs to buy one portion of swan food for 200 yen).
Cycling: From the hotel, it takes about 30-50 minutes to cycle to Hirano no Hama (there are many great photo spots along the way, so you don't necessarily have to go all the way to Hirano no Hama, where the wind is incredibly strong). I recommend cycling clockwise on the map and then returning the same way."

"This hotel's biggest advantage is its location, right next to Nanhu Zhuang. It also has an on-site hot spring bath. The room facilities are a bit dated, but since it's a Japanese-style room, it doesn't feel too bad. However, the value for money is somewhat disappointing, and the service is far from as attentive as hotels back home. We arrived at the station at 10 PM and asked the front desk to send a car to pick us up, only to be told the shuttle had stopped running and we could walk over. Check-out is as early as 10 AM, and even extending to 11 AM costs an extra 3000 JPY. There's no laundry room or gym (outside of the rooms). Well, when you're abroad, sometimes you just have to make do."
