"This hotel is fantastic and fully equipped, truly a resort hotel, and many Japanese guests stay here! First, the hotel will send you an email in advance to confirm your dinner time. We booked dinner for two nights; it was a set menu, and the menu changed daily! The rooms are spacious, and there are many yukata choices! There are two hot springs ♨️, one in the main building and one in the south building. Currently, there are no private baths. We tried both. The main building's is smaller but fully equipped and less crowded. The south building isn't too far to walk to, just a few stairs! Both sides have restaurants. We stayed in the main building and dined there. Breakfast was indeed a bit of a hassle; you usually have to wait. You can go down early to make a reservation, and they'll call your room when it's ready!
If you have time, you definitely need to try the hotel's facilities. It has three stops, including a free spa and an indoor water park. We went to the spa, and swimsuits were provided, which was very convenient! The internal shuttle runs until 11 PM, so you can go in the evening too! Be aware that the shuttle to the Kogen Station is the same as the internal shuttle, so make sure to ask when you get on! Both the hotel's dinner and breakfast are high-quality, and breakfast even includes sashimi rice! Plus, the hotel's souvenir shop is cheaper than the one at JR Station! I recommend having dinner at the hotel, as there's absolutely nothing around, no shops! But the hotel itself is so exciting, it's worth it even if you just stay and enjoy the hotel!"

"This stay at inatori got to be one of the best decisions made. The room came with an absolutely stunning sea view which made this trip from the bustling city worth it!! You need to add the breakfast and dinner to your package too because the food served are top quality and so so delicious. We ate till we were stuffed every single night!! There’s no other hotel that come close to this amazing experience we had here. We also enjoyed the private onsen which can be booked by paying +$$
As the place is very much catered to local tourists, most of the menu, instructions are in Japanese, so just use your translator app if you have any questions! They do have staff who can speak English / mandarin!"

"The hotel is a bit old, a common issue with older Japanese hotels. The front desk staff are all older folks, but their attitude is excellent.
1. Yukata, towels, and toiletries are all provided and free. The room has a bathtub, but for a hot spring bath, you need to go to a designated floor. It's great value for money, and the room is very spacious, making it cost-effective for multiple people.
2. The cleanliness is what you'd expect given its age; I went in with realistic expectations, as it's hard for old hotels to meet strict hygiene standards.
3. The location is excellent and convenient for transportation. It's very close to Ito Station, and you can take the first bus in the morning directly from the starting point to Mount Omuro.
4. The sea is right outside the window, so the view is fantastic! You can even watch the sunrise from your room."

"An experience at a Japanese onsen guesthouse that exceeded expectations, and my first guesthouse stay in Japan!
When I dropped off my luggage, the host meticulously disinfected the wheels with alcohol. Upon check-in, the owner gave a detailed explanation of the hotel facilities.
The room was a traditional Japanese tatami style. As soon as you enter, there's the restroom. I have to mention, the Japanese really do practice water recycling here; the water from the sink directly flows into the toilet tank. The room also had a private onsen, and the owner thoughtfully provided tea and sweets.
The biggest highlight of this place is taking a cable car to the top floor to enjoy the natural outdoor onsen bath – it was absolutely wonderful.
When we left, the uncle personally carried our luggage to the entrance (to protect the old facility, you can't push luggage inside), which was a huge plus! Afterward, they offered a complimentary ride to Ito Station.
The only thing that could be improved: I hope the bathrobes are clean."

"I stayed at this hotel for two nights and it absolutely deserves a five-star review! As soon as you walk in, you're greeted by a beautifully designed garden, which is stunning. The staff welcome you at the entrance and help carry your luggage to your room.
Here are the highlights from my two-day stay:
1. Every staff member provided excellent service, and the environment was comfortable. The room was very clean, making for a relaxing and pleasant stay. The hot spring facilities were also fully equipped, with everything from hair dryers to iced water.
2. The meals were prepared with great care. We thoroughly enjoyed the extensive menu, and the lobster dish was particularly delicious. The staff were very attentive to our feedback; when we mentioned the conch from the first day was a bit bitter, they immediately adjusted the menu for us. The ingredients were fresh and the food tasted excellent throughout our stay.
3. The hot springs were amazing! This was a pleasant surprise for us. The hotel's pictures didn't show much, so we initially thought there was only one private bath. However, there are actually five, and you don't need to book in advance – if no one's at the entrance, you can just go in. Each private bath is meticulously designed and very beautiful inside. This was the most satisfying part of our stay!
Here are a few things to note if you're planning to book:
1. The hotel does have quite a few stairs, but they are all short flights. We didn't find them problematic, but it's something to consider if you're traveling with elderly guests.
2. One minor drawback was that the corridors outside the rooms don't have air conditioning. They're essentially open to the outdoors, so it was quite hot during our summer visit. AC is only available inside the rooms. So, the walk from the room to the private baths was a bit warm. However, luckily, there's a dedicated lounge next to the private baths where you can cool down with AC after your soak, and there's even a machine dispensing iced tea, which was wonderful! 🤩"

"Stepping into the hotel was such a pleasant surprise! It felt like entering a Southeast Asian resort. Facing the endless ocean, my mood immediately relaxed. The service was also excellent; staff escorted us to our room and meticulously explained how everything worked. For dinner, since my daughter doesn't eat seafood and there wasn't an à la carte menu, the hotel specially prepared Udon noodles and Western dishes for her – we were so grateful! In the evening, lying quietly by the pool, gazing at the stars and moon with my favorite music playing in my headphones – this is what life is all about! "The hotel is located at the South Exit of Mishima Station. Make sure you don't go to the wrong exit, as the North and South exits of Mishima Station are not connected! After exiting the station, turn right, and the hotel is just a short walk away. Take the escalator inside up to the second floor, and you'll find the hotel lobby.
From the moment you check in, you'll find views of Mount Fuji everywhere: the public area on the 2nd-floor front desk, the floor-to-ceiling windows in the guest rooms, the 14th-floor onsen, and the 13th-floor restaurant. You can gaze at Mount Fuji just by looking up, and if you're lucky, you can catch breathtaking views at sunrise and sunset. Despite being right above the station, the hotel is very quiet. Downstairs, there are izakayas, unagi restaurants, coffee shops, yakiniku, and convenience stores all very close by. Rakujuen Garden is also right next door.
The hotel's breakfast quality is excellent. I especially loved the grilled fish and their fruit; the menu didn't repeat over two days, and the ingredients were fresh. Eating while looking out at Mount Fuji truly enhances the experience.

"My brother and I stayed at Hotel Associa Shizuoka during our trip, and it was absolutely fantastic. The location couldn't be better – it's directly connected to JR Shizuoka Station, which made traveling around the region so easy and convenient.
The view was absolutely breathtaking! Our room was on one of the upper floors, and we had a stunning panoramic view of Mount Fuji right from our window. Waking up to that sight every morning was unforgettable. The city views at night were equally beautiful.
The room was spacious, spotlessly clean, and very comfortable. The beds were great, and we slept really well. The bathroom was also well-equipped and modern.
The breakfast was excellent – a wonderful buffet with both Japanese and Western options, all fresh and delicious. It was the perfect way to fuel up for a day of exploring.
The staff were professional, polite, and always ready to help with a smile. They made us feel very welcome from the moment we arrived.

"This is a historic hotel where you open the doors with a key. There's a large supermarket and two convenience stores nearby, so meals are never an issue. The supermarket also has a washer/dryer combo. You have to lay out the futons yourself on the tatami mats. Given its age, although there are many outlets in the room, there are no USB ports. The hotel offers a daily shuttle to the nearby train station, and they'll ask you if you need it at check-in."

Прекрасный пляж .
На рецепции все объяснили ) забронировали приватный Онсен. Купались ночью в бассейне ☺️ это лучшее , что может быть . Бар работающий с 20 до 22 часов и бармен Хироку , который готовил нам коктейли отличный джин-тоник за 300 йен -это просто подарок !!! Хироку тебе привет от девчонок из России и спасибо за отдых !!
Комнаты чистые и уютные !
Вещи можно было оставить после выезда и сходить на пляж
ЗАВТРАКИ ! Таких завтраков я ни в одной гостинице в Японии не ела )) омлет , овощи , фрукты , панкейки и безлимитный кофе 🙏🥰

Dinner was delicious, but unfortunately, the smell of grilling meat permeated the entire room, and after taking a hot spring bath, my yukata and hair ended up smelling like it. However, I am grateful for the kind and attentive service from all the staff.

The room was very clean, spacious, and comfortable. I barely ran into any staff or other guests during check-in or throughout the hotel, which made it feel very quiet, almost a bit eerie due to the lack of people. I walked to the hotel from the shopping street, and it was a very steep hill. With the rain and my luggage, it was quite a struggle on foot. I'd recommend a taxi if you're not driving. It's very close to the station, so using a ride-sharing app makes getting around super smooth. Apparently, there are bugs in the summer. Personally, I was delighted that there was a ping-pong table. I'd love to stay here again if I get the chance!

The next day of the Atami trip with my daughter, I returned to the harbor from the outlying islands. The room booked has an open-air hot spring. The room is very beautiful, Western-style double bed, Japanese-style dining table with exquisite pastries. The balcony has an open-air hot spring bath, which is very Japanese classic. It was almost dusk when I arrived at the hotel. The uncle greeted at the door was very enthusiastic to help with the luggage. The reception aunt was also very enthusiastic to talk about everything and amiable. Dinner is very grand Japanese-style set food, fresh and delicious ingredients! Breakfast is also Japanese-style, nutritious, delicious, and beautiful ice cream 🍧 sweet food, very delicious. Although there is an open-air hot spring in the room, the reception aunt still introduced the open-air windy hot spring bar on the top floor. On the hot summer night, there is a hot spring in the open air. It is very relaxing and the tiredness of a day's journey! The next day, the hotel uncle's car was sent to the ”Izu Saga” station. A high-quality rest place during the trip, will come again next time ✌️

A very special experience, family hotel, tatami room, hot spring, meals are all available, very clean, warm service can also provide station pick-up. Although dinner was not booked in advance, the store still prepared it carefully. The location is a bit biased, but the lake view is outside the window. It may not be the peak tourist season now, and there are fewer shops for fewer tourists around.
