food choice is Limited. There's almost no vegetable for the breakfast, latte or cappuccino is extra charge. The good thing is that the mini bar in the room is free and refilled .Location of this hotel is okay, but due to traffic jam you need at least 40 to 50 minutes to go to the city center. around the hotel there is almost nothing. The hotel has sauna, gym is good. They provide free yoga courses for in house guests that is highly appreciated.
This a great place to be with family....I recommend all family to stay in this resort and book family room...me and my kids and my family love staying in this hotel
Hotel had a lovely layout, ambience and swimming pool area. Staff are very courteous-and help-full.
Rooms however need to be renovated. Old furniture , stained sheets and bathroom fittings , there was mole and moss in the bathroom.
I unfortunately booked an executive suite. Firstly, its location was inconveniently far from the elevator, and it seems all executive suites across all floors are situated in the same corner spot. The suite was definitely overpriced for its small size, and the layout was poorly designed. Furthermore, the amenities were neglected; the Jacuzzi was dirty, broken, emitted a foul odor when operated, and even expelled debris. I reported this to the front desk, and they moved me to another suite, but it had the exact same problems. I absolutely do not recommend anyone choose an executive suite; it's a complete waste of money.
My ratings:
Executive Suite Design & Location: 2/10
Overall Cleanliness: 8/10 (though they could improve by changing towels more frequently)
Breakfast: 1/10 (Too focused on Asian food, despite most guests being Arabs, especially Saudis)
Pricing (Value for Money): 5/10 (Overpriced)
View & Hotel Location: 5/10
I suggest they lower their prices and encourage guests to choose a standard room with a river view. They should also pay more attention to offering Eastern, Arabic, and Western food options. Finally, some staff members were notably unwelcoming towards Arab guests and made no effort to provide better service.
The location is excellent, very close to the town square, and it's easy to find food and snacks nearby, just a short walk away. However, my expectations for the room facilities and interior were not met for a 4-star hotel. The parquet flooring in the room was already worn out, and a hairdryer was only available upon request. The front office staff also failed to provide detailed information to guests regarding breakfast location and times, as well as the swimming pool, etc.
My review for stay 3D2N:
1. Room condition: It looks low-grade and falls short of 5-star hotel expectations.
2. Cleanliness: The cleanliness of the sink in the room was poor.
3. Noise level: The room window faces the main street, and traffic noise is clearly audible inside the room. The soundproofing is inadequate.
4. Breakfast: The breakfast menu lacked variety, falling far behind the standards of other 5-star hotels.
Overall, I rate my experience as ”Poor” for a 5-star hotel standard.
I hope they can make significant improvements in the future.
We had a fantastic 2-day stay at Harris Hotel — the rooms were clean, spacious, and perfect for our family. The staff were friendly and accommodating, always ready to assist with a smile. The kids especially loved the pool and the breakfast spread had a great variety for everyone.
Its a very nice and tranquil hotel. The rooms and buildings are rather old (built in the 80s), but they were maintained properly. The fixtures in the room, however, could use an upgrade to more modern ones, auch as rhe toilet bowl, cabinets, shower tiles, night stands, tables and chair. I stayed at a room with hot tub, and the hot tub is big and beautiful, but looks rather old and need to be renovated. It was a big room so it makes the rate that I paid was very worth it.
The self parking was not covered. I arrived when it was raining hard. I soaked my clothes as there no umbrella I can borrow nor anybody there to help with umbrella. I reported to receptionist with my soaking wet clohtes, they just apologized and nothing to be done, not even offer towel to dry my clothes. This was big disappointment as it was a novotel, hospitality attention should be paid.
The hotel was kind of a javanese old colonial model, so open style and you can enjoy fresh air. When the weather is hot, however, it could be really hot and steamy.
Over all, it was a value for money hotel. Check in was very pleasant and fast.
Since it was a secluded area which brings tranquility and fresh ait, it is located in rather secluded housing compound.
So u have to go through rather small street to get here and no other restaurant except in the hotel.
However, it is next to bogor raya golf course and they provide bicycle for excursion, also other activities.
Keep it up, I will definitely come back to stay when I golf around the area or short staycation with family.
Very Good
