Romantic Hotels in Attica, Greece

"Stayed only for one night this time with recommendation from friends. Everything was beautiful and the best hotel. First of all, the interior of the room is cute and fashionable anyway. No matter where you cut it, it will be a picture 🖼️ I would like to stay again when I come to Athens. I wish I could make more time to spend at the hotel, so I definitely want to stay for 3 nights next time ✨ Breakfast was nice, and I was able to choose which room or rooftop to eat, so I got it on the rooftop 😋 You can see ancient ruins from the rooftop, so it is recommended on a good day ‼︎"

"Great location & good service. Unfortunately, individual room temperature adjustment isn't possible, which made the room far too warm. Even with constant ventilation, it couldn't cool down (outside temperature approx. 13-24 degrees Celsius). A kind cleaning staff member provided us with a fan, but its noise didn't contribute to better sleep quality. The 'air conditioning' (a central system, adjustable only by a dial, not by temperature) unfortunately only heats until May and couldn't be turned off. The TV only has satellite and isn't internet-enabled (no HDMI ports could be found either). The breakfast was very delicious and varied, offering everything from vegetables, salad, fish, and meat to pancakes, muesli, yogurt, and fruits. Coffee could be obtained from a machine during breakfast. However, for those who enjoy good coffee, this machine is not recommended. Additionally, the hotel has a gym & a sauna. The latter, contrary to our assumption, is not included in the hotel costs and must be paid for separately (€15 for 30 minutes). On the hotel's rooftop terrace, there are a total of 4 'Hot Tubs,' three of which were functional. These can be used free of charge and without booking (approx. 37.5-40 °C). The gym features a pull-up bar, two cable towers, dumbbells (6-30kg), a treadmill, and an elliptical trainer. There was also a stationary bike, but it was broken. Overall, the hotel offers a great location, but due to the temperature issue, the nights were unfortunately not at all restful. A shame."

"Excellent in every way! The location is perfect - right next to the Acropolis Museum, 7mins from a subway, close to many great restaurants but still down a peaceful street not crowded with tour groups (though the busses do pass by). The breakfast is hearty and flavourful. It fueled us till well into the afternoon. The staff were all friendly and helpful. And the rooftop restaurant has a view that few can match. If you want to have a relaxed yet romantic dinner this would be a great option. (but book in advance unless you just want a drink) The jacuzzi on the 4th floor was a treat after a long day of walking. It's worth noting that the cheaper rooms only have a window into the courtyard, so upgrade if you want the balcony looking onto the Acropolis. That said, the room was still very comfy with enough space for our two large suitcases - and there are places to get the view as mentioned above. I'll happily book here again on the next trip."

"This place is quite unusual. My room was upgraded so that I had a suite over two floors, with a small private pool on another lower level. Absolutely every convenience had been considered, some extras might verge on overkill (bog roll tied up with a ribbon for example). The room looked amazing on first inspection, but I quite quickly realised the smell of the pool was so strong it stung my eyes, and the sound of the ventilation unit was quite a roar. There was only one small openable window on the mezzanine level next to the bed and I had to sleep with that open as wide as possible. Bed was extremely comfortable, I had to turn off the pool ventilator unit in the middle of the night because it kept waking me up, but once I had done that and the smell of baking bread entered the room from a bakery down the road I slept like a log. Staff were really nice and friendly, but they are working with quite difficult circumstances and perhaps unnecessarily. The kitchen is on the bottom floor and breakfast is served on the 5th floor roof (from which you can see the Parthenon) breakfast is a little awkward as you get a huge wicker basket 🧺 full of food plus crepes, plus omelette, plus tuna sandwich, a whole baguette (some more little ribbons), and I am not sure anyone can eat as much as is provided, and the server had to keep travelling up and down in the one person elevator. Probably would be better to ask guests what they would like to have for breakfast out of the options available and have a coffee/tea station upstairs. There is the option to take lunch in your room - for which the picnic basket concept makes a lot more sense. Seems like there should be a way to make the place feel more efficient and common sensible. I did get the feeling that they might have only just opened and are finding their feet, so I hope this review will be useful - certainly was a generous accommodation and staff are working very hard to make sure guests have the best possible experience."

"A small, trendy hotel in a central part of town. Communication prior and check-in experience were very good. Being beside a restaurant with loud live entertainment and across the road from a night club, the room proved very noisy until midnight, when things settled down somewhat. Several good local eateries and transport options were available. Possibly somewhat overpriced compared with Athens comparables."

"The location is unbeatable. I was staying at the InterContinental before this, but didn't want to stay in one hotel for too long, so I switched to this one near Syntagma Square. It's walking distance to shopping, the National Museum, and the Chunxi and Mingyue Lou Chinese restaurants. The breakfast was quite ordinary, but the view was excellent – the picture I took was from the 10th-floor breakfast area. Everything else was fine. We arrived at the hotel around 9 AM and there were already rooms available, which was great."
