We stayed at this hotel for one night before our flight, but we wish we could have stayed longer. The room for two people was not very large, but it was very cozy and lovely. There is an open rooftop on the 14th floor with a beautiful view. The room has everything you need. The reception staff were very helpful and answered our questions quickly. I would gladly choose this hotel again on my next visit. Thank you!

The room was very comfortable, and the service was excellent. They provided shuttle service to and from town whenever needed, which was a great experience! Although I didn't get to see Siguniang Mountain, it's normal for this season. After hiking, it was wonderful to relax in a nice bath. Even the club owner highly recommended this place after hearing about it! Here’s a photo of Yaomei Peak taken from the summit. I'll definitely come again next time!

Really enjoyed our stay in the top floor suite with an amazing view overlooking Taikoo Li and the skyline. The location is perfect for a short visit, with Taikoo Li just outside, making it very easy to walk around. The staff were extremely helpful and attentive, responding to our requests and questions instantly, they even helped us fill up the bathtub/pool while we were out so it was ready upon our return! Also loved the projector screen to watch tv. Many amenities like snacks, towels, robes, slippers were also provided. Overall, I highly recommend and would definitely return!

one of the smoothest hotel experiences i've had in china; it's family-owned and the staff are warm and friendly! we received a room upgrade free of charge upon arrival an our room was clean, modern, spacious, and quiet.
there's free coffee and mini snacks on the 4th floor, along with a self-serve free laundry (wash + dry combined) and microwave.
the only downside is that the gym is +40rmb per person, but i found the facility to be run-down, dirty, and with some broken machines.
overall a very positive experience. we rebooked sungold hotel again after we return from our trip to jiuzhaigou (九寨沟)!

Unfortunately, our stay at this hotel was very disappointing and did not live up to the expectations created by the photos and description.
One of the main reasons we booked this place was the pool shown in the main pictures. However, this is quite misleading, as the pool is not actually available for guests to use. The small pool in the common area was also dirty and poorly maintained, making it completely unappealing.
The staff were not particularly welcoming or helpful during our stay. We did not feel looked after as guests, and interactions often felt unfriendly and dismissive.
We were also surprised to be charged an additional fee after using the washing machine. We accidentally ran a wash without fully understanding the procedure and ended up being charged €10, which felt excessive and unnecessary for such a minor issue.
The room itself was very cold and uncomfortable. On top of that, the windows were extremely dirty, which gave the entire space a neglected feeling and spoiled what could have been a nice view.
Overall, the property feels poorly maintained and does not match the impression presented online. Between the misleading pool photos, the lack of hospitality, the extra charges, and the uncomfortable room conditions, we did not enjoy our stay and would not recommend this hotel. We left feeling disappointed and feeling that the experience was not worth the money we paid.

Please excuse the messy room; after a five-day stay, it hadn't been cleaned. (It was my own laziness in not requesting cleaning, not the hotel's fault.)
Pros: It's a 6-minute walk to Chunxi Road subway station, and across the overpass is the bustling outer edge of the Chunxi Road commercial area, offering plenty of shopping. Right downstairs is a local Hongqi chain convenience store, making shopping convenient and prices normal. Across from the hotel, there's a popular hotpot restaurant, a traditional breakfast shop, and a fruit stand—very convenient.
Cons: The room was dim; the shower didn't work well, and the shower space was cramped. The cleanliness was just average, especially during the last two days when I woke up with itchy skin, and I'm not sure why.
Overall: Very good value for money, and the front desk was responsive. I would recommend staying here. My suggestion is for them to be a bit more thorough with the cleaning.

My family and I stayed in Chengdu for two more days after our group tour. I didn't want the hassle of changing hotels, so I just booked a single room again. The staff was very helpful and moved me to a more central room, and even transferred my luggage from the old room to the new one, which was a huge plus! Although the power outlets in the single room were in odd places, it didn't really bother me since I was traveling alone.
Everything else was fantastic. They offer butler service, which means they can help receive packages for you, and if you have any questions, you can ask the butler – someone is usually available to respond 24/7.
The breakfast is a set menu, but you can always ask for more if it's not enough. The courtyard restaurant where breakfast is served is beautiful, with small bridges and flowing water, making it a picturesque spot for photos. The hotel reception is on the first floor, and the entire building is self-contained, so there aren't a lot of random people coming and going. Food deliveries also come up via robot, as delivery drivers aren't allowed upstairs. As a solo female traveler, I felt very safe and secure.
If I had to nitpick, the only downside would be a few mosquitoes. If you're prone to mosquito bites, you can use some repellent (which the hotel provides). But that's a minor issue, and it doesn't detract from the overall experience. I still highly recommend this place.

Stayed here for the second time during our trip in Chengdu. Mainly because of the location and also the friendly staff. They were helpful to allow early check-in when we first arrive since there were rooms available. They also extended our checkout time to 2 pm for free. The front desk stuff also helped me with my Taobao refund issue. The hotel also helps to receive parcels from Taobao and when I needed to refund some of the parcels, the hotel staff helped to pass to the courier for pickup since i was out exploring the city. Definitely recommend!

Our family of four stayed here and absolutely loved it. The hotel has a charming little garden with a fish pond, which was a huge hit with the kids. Near the restaurant, there's also a cozy corner where children can read or play with toys. The front desk area is incredibly picturesque – perfect for photos! Upstairs, there's another small garden bursting with colorful hydrangeas and a swing, making it a lovely spot to relax and chat. Our room was spacious and spotless, with everything we needed. The front desk staff were incredibly helpful; they even assisted us in transferring some of our luggage to a hotel we'd be staying at later in our trip, saving us from having to take all our bags to Jiuzhaigou. There are plenty of dining options, convenience stores, bakeries, and pharmacies conveniently located near the hotel. My child wasn't feeling well, so we just popped over to the pharmacy across the street – super convenient!

Really impressed with my stay here. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the location made it easy to get around. What stood out most was the staff — genuinely helpful and attentive from check-in to check-out, always ready to answer questions or sort out requests quickly. It's rare to get service this consistent. Would definitely stay again and recommend it to anyone visiting the area.

GGuest UserThe owner is super nice! There's also an adorable little dog named ”Huahua” who is incredibly gentle and not afraid of people. She even does targeted 'fan service' – absolutely adorable!!!
The guesthouse is very close to the entrance of Changping Valley Scenic Area. The surrounding infrastructure is excellent, with supermarkets and breakfast shops nearby.
The guesthouse facilities are top-notch, and the rooms are very clean. Plus, they have underfloor heating and free oxygen bags, so we slept incredibly comfortably at night! The first floor has a restaurant and a bar, beautifully decorated – perfect for taking photos, haha.
The yak hotpot is also amazing, delicious and great value for money. Highly recommend!

GGuest UserAbsolutely thrilled! The price was great, and the location was super convenient! The whole hotel had a really 'Instagrammable' vibe. My friend and I were both extremely happy with our stay! It's about a 10-minute walk to IFS Chunxi Road and Taikoo Li, and there are tons of amazing food options nearby. The breakfast was also delicious and so cute – loved it!
TToon_mThe hotel was really great. There’s an elevator, so no need to worry about carrying luggage up the stairs.
We arrived at ฺBus Stop 2 and the hotel staff came out to help us with our bags — plus we were warmly greeted by an adorable dog!
We chose a triple room, and the space was comfortable and sufficient for everyone. Our room faced the front with a beautiful mountain view.
The beds also had electric mattress warmers, which made our sleep very cozy.
Breakfast was good, and the stir-fried vegetables were delicious.
They also provide hiking poles that guests can borrow.
MM637684****We booked a quad room, and the service was excellent! The only thing that could be improved is the hot water for the shower; it wasn't hot enough. Overall, we were very satisfied. A big thank you to the front desk staff, both the ladies and gentlemen, for their superb service.

GGuest UserThe hotel's location is absolutely fantastic, right within the Emei Mountain scenic area, just over a kilometer from Baoguo Temple, and the Ma Lu Qiao food street is practically on its doorstep. It's perfect for a vacation, with excellent facilities and superb room service – fruits, coffee, breakfast, fries, and even a shuttle to the station, they have it all. Lynn provided incredibly thoughtful service from the moment I booked, sharing personal itineraries that truly elevated my stay. Highly recommended!

GGuest UserThe location on Wangping Street is super convenient! There are many cafes and bars along the river, and you can walk to IFS and Taikoo Li, but I opted for a Didi instead. The hotel is very clean and comfortable, with a 24-hour laundry room and gym. They offer unlimited free boiled water, and there's even a robot for room service. Inside the room, there's a Xiao Du smart assistant, a smart bed (with adjustable height and massage modes), and a smart toilet. The front desk staff are incredibly friendly – I give 100 points to the ladies at counter #1 and #5 for their excellent service! I'll definitely be back here on my next trip to Chengdu. The only minor drawback might be that the bathroom and toilet are a bit small and lack hooks, which was a bit inconvenient 🥹
KKgengEasy to find. You can walk from the east side of East Station through an underground passage directly to the hotel's elevator. There are also plenty of restaurants and convenience stores nearby.
Check-in was quick, and the front desk staff were very warm and friendly.
Very satisfied. As soon as I opened the room door, I noticed the AC was on, and after taking a couple more steps, I could even see Chengdu East Station.
However, the facilities are a bit old; I feel the outlets and showerhead could use an upgrade.
Excellent value for money, highly recommend this place. I'll definitely choose this hotel again for an overnight layover in Chengdu.

PPoko Blue (Hui)The hotel location was great, only about a kilometer from the park entrance. The room itself was good, like other Holiday Inn Express Hotels. The breakfast was also good. However, 1 out of the 3 rooms I booked had a noticeable and quite strong smoke smell, even though the room was listed as non-smoking and no smoking signs were put up in the room. Apart from that, everything else was good. There was also a McDonald's in the hotel, which gave you good food options. There is an image below on that McDonald's!

~~lianrongbao~This hotel is super convenient, right next to Exit C of Tonghuimen Station on Metro Line 2. It's just a 10-minute walk to Kuanzhai Alley, 15 minutes to People's Park, and 20 minutes to Tianfu Square. To get to Wuhou Shrine, you can take Line 2, transfer to Line 5 for four stops to Gaoshengqiao Station, and then it's a 10-minute walk from Exit J.
The room size is decent, and the decor has a light luxury feel. I really appreciate that the bathroom has a separate wet and dry area. There's a vanity right by the entrance. The bedding is a bit soft, so I had to stack two pillows to sleep comfortably.
I stayed here for four days and three nights during my trip to Chengdu. The housekeeping staff replenished towels and mineral water daily, and the room was kept very clean. The front desk attendant was kind enough to upgrade my room and breakfast, and even gave me a small souvenir when I left. I'll definitely choose the Mercure Kuanzhai Alley Hotel again on my next visit to Chengdu.

YYeyueyouThe best accommodation after our trip along the Western Sichuan Loop! The cleanliness is superb; the bathroom even had a separate bottle of alcohol for guests to use for extra disinfection. The location is excellent, right next to Observation Deck No. 1, offering a stunning view of the entire ******* village, truly like a secluded paradise. The service deserves full marks; the owner is incredibly warm and hospitable, with extensive experience in Western Sichuan, and can provide honest ratings for nearby attractions. If you're looking to escape the city's hustle and bustle and find a place to unwind in a paradise-like setting, this is truly a great choice. I'm so glad I chose to stay here over the other hotel in Danba.
