The hotel was a pleasant surprise during our trip; the kids and our dog were very happy with it, as it had a large bathtub and a small garden. Since we were leaving very early the next day, our butler, Jiqing, thoughtfully packed breakfast and provided a lot of information on sightseeing and dining options. Leshan is a treasure trove of a city; besides the Giant Buddha, there are many other fun places to visit. I would definitely choose to cycle solo for a thousand miles again next time.

Guest UserStaying at this hotel in Siguniang Mountain was such a pleasant surprise! The owner is incredibly warm and welcoming, even proactively picking us up at the hotel, which was very thoughtful. The guesthouse itself is clean and comfortable, with unique decor that's perfect for photos. You can enjoy tea and listen to music, creating a really healing and relaxing atmosphere. I was even more surprised to learn that Li Xian and Yang Di have stayed here – that definitely adds to the experience! The attention to detail is excellent too; they provide oxygen equipment, which is reassuring for altitude sickness, and you can even try on ******* clothes. Overall, my stay was fantastic, and I'll definitely choose this place again next time I visit! 👍

The family room is super spacious and comfortable. The toilet and shower are separate, which is very convenient. The soundproofing is also excellent; I couldn't hear any noise from other rooms. Plus, it's only one stop away from Chunxi Road, and there are plenty of food options just across the street. There's also a supermarket and pharmacy on the corner, which is really great. The station is only a 2-minute walk away. They also include breakfast and afternoon tea with 'Bingfen' (ice jelly), and there's even a robot delivery service for meals. The service is also excellent; I'd like to give a shout-out to Xiao Jing at the front desk, who was very polite and enthusiastic. It's a really worthwhile place to stay.

The hotel was really great. There’s an elevator, so no need to worry about carrying luggage up the stairs.
We arrived at ฺBus Stop 2 and the hotel staff came out to help us with our bags — plus we were warmly greeted by an adorable dog!
We chose a triple room, and the space was comfortable and sufficient for everyone. Our room faced the front with a beautiful mountain view.
The beds also had electric mattress warmers, which made our sleep very cozy.
Breakfast was good, and the stir-fried vegetables were delicious.
They also provide hiking poles that guests can borrow.

Stayed at Bliss Qintai ******* Boutique Hotel and it was a unique and memorable stay in Chengdu.
The design of the hotel really stands out, with Tibetan-inspired interiors that give it a very distinct character compared to standard hotels. It feels warm, artistic, and different in a good way.
The room was comfortable, clean, and well-maintained, with enough space to relax after a long day of exploring. The overall atmosphere of the property is calm and cozy.
Location-wise, it’s convenient for getting around the city, with easy access to nearby attractions and local areas.
The staff were polite and helpful, and the check-in process was smooth.
If you want a stay that feels a bit more special and culturally inspired rather than just functional, this is a great option. For a more detailed look at the property and my Chengdu experience, you can check my YouTube channel travelwithshreya.
Overall, a very pleasant and distinctive stay.

Guest UserTraveling through Sichuan with kids, Le Méridien is definitely the best hotel in the Leshan Emeishan area. The room was incredibly comfortable, and the breakfast was excellent. Plus, there are several must-try restaurants right outside the hotel.
If you're driving, it's super convenient. You can drive straight from the hotel's parking lot all the way up the mountain, which takes a little over an hour to reach Leidongping. The reason it takes a bit longer is due to the 30 km/h speed limit.
Even after a long day of climbing the Leshan Giant Buddha and enjoying delicious food in Leshan, followed by a long drive to Le Méridien at the foot of Emeishan, and knowing we'd be climbing Emeishan early the next morning, it was still worth it to stay at a hotel like Le Méridien to get a good night's rest and recharge.
What's more, we had incredibly good luck! When we woke up and opened the curtains, it was raining heavily outside, with rain pouring into the lake. But magically, by the time we reached the Emeishan summit, the clouds had cleared, and the sun was shining brightly. It felt like Le Méridien brought us good fortune!

Guest UserThe location is convenient and the price is affordable. It's very close to Taikoo Li, and there's a snack street downstairs. I didn't expect to find such a great value hotel at this price in Chengdu. Chengdu is wonderful, I'll definitely be back!

Maotouying📍 **Location King:** This is, hands down, the closest hotel to Chengdu East Railway Station! A godsend for travelers catching a train; even with luggage, getting there is a breeze.
🏠 **Space & Cleanliness:** The room was spacious and bright, spotlessly clean, and well-managed. The customer service team tried their best to accommodate my room type requests, showing great attention to detail.
🔧 **Hardware Shortcomings:** Opened in 2017, the facilities are showing their age a bit. Water pressure was average, and the hairdryer's power was weak (I recommend bringing your own). Even on the 29th floor, I was bothered by inexplicable banging noises from upstairs, and there was constant construction noise outside at night. If you're sensitive to noise, definitely bring earplugs (a lesson learned the hard way 😭). The front desk training could use some improvement – I specifically requested a quiet room in my notes, but was given one right by the elevator... Thankfully, the housekeeping staff was proactive and helpful without being intrusive, which is a plus!
**Summary:** The location is unbeatable, but the soundproofing and hardware are a drawback. If you're not sensitive to noise, it's still a good value for money option near the East Station; light sleepers should seriously reconsider.

yiyi892Location: This is the closest chain hotel to the Jiuzhaigou entrance, about a 7-8 minute walk to the scenic area's main gate.
Facilities: It seems this hotel has been around for a while, but it must have been renovated as it now has the modern Holiday Inn Express style. It's clean, safe, and has all the necessary amenities.
However, my travel companions mentioned that the shower water pressure was very low during peak usage times.
Also, there's very loud music, similar to square dancing music, playing between 6-7 AM.
Surrounding amenities: There's a McDonald's and a convenience store downstairs. The entire Goukou area has a complete range of restaurants and shops, all within walking distance.

datoubb2006Right next to Kuanzhai Alley and metro Line 2, Exit C. Aside from the excellent location, there's absolutely no value for money here. The surrounding area is run-down with dilapidated buildings, the hotel entrance reeked, and the lobby air conditioning was weak. There's no restroom on the ground floor, so when my child needed to go urgently, we were told to go all the way up to the 12th floor. The room facilities are old, the light controls are poorly designed, and the cleanliness was just so-so. The restaurant is on the 12th floor, and as soon as you step out of the elevator, you're greeted by a dead cockroach. Breakfast was mediocre, with very limited options. If you go late, there's hardly anything left to eat. You can eat, but you certainly can't eat well. The staff were cold and unresponsive. This place is definitely not worth the 600+ price tag.
