My experience staying at this hotel as below. 1. They provide pickup and drop off from the train station. The day before the Inn contacted me to make arrangement for the pickup. Then they arranged to drive me back to station on the day I leave. Service was efficient and prompt. Much appreciated. 2. I was able to use the washing machine to wash come clothes which was much needed. Comb and toiletries were provided. So grateful for these little necessities as I left mine at the previous hotel. 3. The boss upgraded me to a bigger and better room because it was the low season. The kang bed was so comfortable and firm. I had the best sleep so far at this Inn. I'm so happy. 4. The Inn is inside the old city and practically next to one of the city gates. Very convenient for sightseeing old Pingyao city. 5. Everyone very friendly and helpful. Boss also gave me a bottle of vinegar. Wish I could take it back to UK with me. 6. The price of this Inn is also very reasonable and affordable. 7. Pingyao is a beautiful, ancient old city. Worth coming. I highly recommend staying here. Datong Yungang Hotel Review I've stayed in many five-star hotels, but Datong Yungang Hotel consistently ranks at the top for me. It truly lives up to its reputation as the best in the area. The overall decor is grand and stylish, with spacious and luxurious interiors that strike a perfect balance between opulence and elegance, without being over-the-top. The pricing is very reasonable, offering excellent value for money. The service is thoughtful and meticulous. The staff are responsive and attentive, making the entire experience comfortable. Room cleanliness is impeccable; every corner and all the linens are spotless and tidy. The breakfast buffet offers a vast selection, including a wide array of meats, vegetables, pastries, desserts, and local specialties, all of which taste great. The location is a major plus, less than two kilometers from Datong Ancient City, making it very convenient for exploring the area. Considering the comprehensive quality of its facilities, service, price, and location, it's definitely worth a second visit. This is my top recommendation for accommodation when visiting Datong!

My stay at Futiandahua Rain Hot Spring Hotel was absolutely fantastic! First off, the location is superb, right inside the ancient city. It's super close to where they do the iron flower show, which, by the way, is an absolute must-see. I'm getting on in years, but watching that show brought tears to my eyes; I was so moved by the performers' dedication and the incredible spectacle they put on. It's clear the hotel owner pays incredible attention to detail. My two girlfriends and I stayed in a triple room, and from the moment we walked into the lobby, we were gushing over the hotel's ambiance, the staff, and the room's decor. Every little detail was thoughtfully done. Even when we were heading out to explore the ancient city, the front desk proactively offered us a pack of tissues to take with us. The room itself was a standalone unit, so it was incredibly quiet. They delivered coffee and afternoon tea daily, and the fruit plate in the room was fresh. There was also a cooler in the lobby with bottled water available for guests. The whole room was smart-enabled with XiaoDu (a smart assistant), and the shower had great water pressure and was very comfortable, with a separate wet and dry area. Oh, one small thing: the trash can in the bathroom was a bit too small; I hope they can improve that. The private hot spring was amazing. After a full day of sightseeing, coming back to soak in the hot spring and chat was just pure bliss.

This was the most beautiful and luxurious hotel we stayed in for our entire trip to China. The room was spacious, beautifully designed, and very comfortable. The hotel staff was helpful and very responsive over WeChat. We enjoyed the nightly cocktails and 24h coffee at the lobby. The bartender was nice enough to mix a special cocktail for my pregnant wife, and he did not skim on the alcohol for my cocktail. There was complimentary water and drinks in the room. The plumbing was excellent, the location above the mall was great, and there was a 24 convenience store downstairs. There are also decent food options and massage places nearby. The room had automatic window blinds, a spacious bathtub for 2 people, and a very comfortable shower and toilet space. The hotel also alwyas made sure we had sufficient refreshments, whether in room or in the lobby. It was a shame we only stayed for 2 nights, would love to come back.

Pingyao Yundingxuan truly exceeded our expectations! This ancient courtyard, a former Shanxi merchant's residence, has an incredible atmosphere, perfect for amazing photos. The location is superb, right on West Street in the heart of the old town, within walking distance of 'Impression Pingyao' and all major attractions – super convenient for sightseeing and dining. The hotel offers free pickup and drop-off at the city gate, helps with luggage, and provides thoughtful and attentive service. They patiently explained sightseeing routes and even assisted with discounted bookings for 'Impression Pingyao' tickets, saving us time and effort. The rooms are clean and tidy, with soft and comfortable bedding. The courtyard is quiet and tranquil, making it a very reassuring stay for both elderly guests and children. The amenities are comprehensive, and the breakfast is authentic. It offers incredible value for money. It's definitely the top choice for family trips to Pingyao. Highly recommended; we'll definitely stay here again next time we visit Pingyao.

The hotel lobby is absolutely stunning. Day and night, you face the serene Huayan Temple and watch the crowds in the square. It got colder today, but the afternoon sun was pleasantly warm. Room: I stayed in the Huayan room, the closest one to Huayan Temple. The room looked exactly like the hotel pictures – what you see is what you get. My only minor gripe is that the window is a bit small and faces the replica eaves of the ancient buildings in the square. The details outside the window aren't great; there's an unpeeled protective film on the outer window and a thick electrical wire dangling outside. Facilities: The 'Xiaodu' smart assistant is quite good. However, casting to the TV requires using 'Meibo,' which is really inconvenient. The bathroom is excellent; both the overhead and handheld showerheads can be used simultaneously, making for a very comfortable shower. The faucet design is also great, and there's a thoughtful clothesline in the shower area. The hotel has a laundry room available until 9 PM. Service: I stayed for four days and met six staff members – three men and three women – all incredibly polite. You can tell their service is thoughtful: on the first day, I had knife-cut noodles for breakfast. I didn't mention I don't eat cilantro or green onions, but they disappeared from my breakfast dishes in the following days. The evening foot bath tub is very comfortable, and the foot soak sachet contains red dates, Sichuan peppercorns, and astragalus (couldn't identify the others). The hotel's sea buckthorn juice and astragalus water are also good. Yesterday, I overheard a guest at the front desk complaining about the service, but honestly, it's quite good. When you call, a staff member will always come up to help with luggage. Dining: Breakfast is a set meal, and after a few days, it does get a bit repetitive. However, the knife-cut noodles and rice vermicelli are good, and the siu mai is also tasty. I hope they can vary the side dishes and pastries in the future, maybe offer some fried dough sticks or something... I also have to mention the hot drinks at the front desk: the latte is much, much better than Starbucks, probably because of the quality of the milk. Transportation: Transportation is very convenient; it's easy to get anywhere. I'll definitely come back next time, and I'd like to try a duplex room, haha. It wasn't crowded on Monday, so I peeked into a few empty rooms, and almost every duplex was unique.

The area and garden landscape of this state guesthouse are worthy of the title of state guesthouse. And it has a unique geographical advantage, being only separated from royal gardens such as Jinci Temple by a wall. Of course, the decoration of the room is aging (otherwise it would not be the current price, how many so-called luxury hotels have such a garden investment and geographical advantage). I returned to the hotel around 10 o'clock last night and saw that the lobby bar was still open. On a whim, I said I wanted to buy ice cream and ice water for my children. My sister said that there was no supply of these two things at this time, but asked me to wait. After making a phone call, a little brother picked me up at the entrance of the lobby in a battery car and pulled me from Building No. 9 to near the staff dormitory. He took me to a canteen owned by the staff and bought the snacks and ice cream that the children wanted. , ice water. The little brother was polite all the way, helped me with things, and proudly explained to me the history and scenery of the State Guesthouse, as well as the attractions around Jinci Temple that are worth visiting. It was past 10 o'clock in the evening, and I wanted to buy some snacks to enjoy this kind of VIP service. I have stayed in so many hotels and never enjoyed this one before. We must praise the little brother of the battery car and the sister of the water bar in the lobby last night.

Absolutely amazing hotel! The environment is fantastic, and all the staff are incredibly warm and attentive, which made for an excellent stay. They even offer a shuttle service to concerts, so if you're planning to attend one, you absolutely shouldn't miss this hotel. Our trip to Taiyuan was made even better because of this hotel, and we'd definitely love to stay here again next time. Highly recommended!

From the moment I stepped into the hotel lobby, I was captivated by its luxurious and grand decor. The marble floor was as shiny as a mirror, and the crystal chandeliers sparkled, making me feel like I was in an art palace. The front desk staff were warm and attentive, and the check-in process was quick and efficient. They also thoughtfully introduced me to all of the hotel's facilities. The room I stayed in was spacious and bright, decorated in a cozy and comfortable manner. The bedding was soft and gentle on the skin. The room's soundproofing was excellent, completely shielding me from outside disturbances. The bathroom was fully equipped, and the toiletries were all high-quality brands, which made using them a real pleasure. The hotel's recreational facilities were also very extensive. The gym had a full range of equipment, meeting all my daily workout needs. The swimming pool was crystal clear with suitable water temperature. Swimming in it, all my fatigue seemed to wash away. This stay was truly impeccable, and I highly recommend everyone to experience this hotel! I believe you'll fall in love with it just as I did.
