Our stay exceeded all expectations! The hotel environment was quiet and elegant, and the room hygiene was impeccable with all facilities working perfectly. The staff were gentle and courteous; check-in was efficient and quick, and they even offered thoughtful travel advice. The surrounding area has excellent amenities, making it convenient for getting around and dining. We slept soundly and comfortably. This was the most satisfying accommodation of our trip, and we will definitely return and recommend it!

The hotel's overall decor is luxurious and grand, with a European classical style that feels very warm and comfortable. The service at check-in was excellent; they proactively guided me to my room. However, I was not satisfied with the room facilities. The hand towel by the sink was severely damaged, and there was a chip on the edge of the bathtub, posing a safety hazard.
On the other hand, the sleeping area in the room was a very pleasant experience. The bathroom having its own independent air conditioning system is a feature many hotels lack, which was a nice touch.
The breakfast experience was particularly bad – messy and completely lacking in management and service.
In terms of decor and luxury, the hotel certainly meets five-star standards. However, in terms of management and service, it falls short of even mid-range chain hotels.

Second time staying at this hotel. The breakfast is excellent and is the best part of the trip. The staff are also accommodating. It’s hard to communicate but as long as you have the translation app on your phone, it will work out. However, the amenities of the hotel is on the older side. They need to update it to become more modern. Bring your own toiletries as the ones they have are drying on the skin and hair. The air-conditioning was not working properly. Though they tried to fix it by wheeling in a portable AC. It still ran hot most days.

Qingdao Haitian Hotel Executive Room Experience during May Day Holiday | Heartwarming Service, Living Up to Shandong's Hospitality
During the May Day holiday, I traveled to Qingdao and stayed in an executive room at the Haitian Hotel. My entire stay was absolutely perfect. From the hotel's excellent hardware quality to its attentive and thoughtful service, every aspect made this trip exceptionally comfortable, and I truly felt the warmth and hospitality of Shandong.
The hotel lobby boasts a luxurious and grand decor, blending modern texture with style. The space is open and airy, exuding sophistication and class at every turn. What captivated me most was the green plant bonsai by the revolving door in the lobby. Its unique shape and exquisite design truly spoke to me, seamlessly blending with the hotel's overall environment. I instantly fell in love with it, secretly wishing I could have a similar setup at home.
Out of curiosity, I inquired about the bonsai with a lobby staff member nearby. I expected a simple inquiry but received an incredibly heartwarming response. This gentle girl showed no impatience whatsoever, patiently listened to my request, and immediately took the initiative to contact the lobby manager for me. Upon hearing the situation, the manager was thoroughly engaged, showing no hesitation. He quickly connected me with the bonsai supplier. The entire process was smooth and efficient; from inquiry to getting a precise answer, no time was wasted. I felt genuinely cared for throughout, filled with warmth and gratitude.
Now, regarding the executive room I stayed in, the hardware configuration was excellent. The room was spacious and comfortable, with a well-designed layout and tasteful decoration. All facilities were readily available. From the comfort of the bedding to the quality of the bathroom fixtures and soft furnishings, everything reflected the thoughtfulness of a high-end hotel. The room offered excellent lighting and views, making my stay very pleasant and helping to alleviate the fatigue of travel.
Throughout my stay, the service was truly commendable. In addition to the heartwarming assistance mentioned earlier, the service from Serena and Manager Steven was particularly attentive and enthusiastic. They always had a smile on their faces, were responsive to every request, and treated guests with patience and meticulousness. Every detail was handled perfectly, making me feel respected and cared for. All hotel staff were friendly, professional, and consistently demonstrated excellent service standards.
This trip to Qingdao Haitian Hotel not only impressed me with its outstanding facilities but also left a lasting impression with its incredibly heartwarming service. From the quick response of the lobby staff to Manager Steven's full support and Serena's attentive service throughout, every step showed genuine sincerity. It truly allowed me to experience the well-deserved reputation of Shandong's hospitality – honest, enthusiastic, thoughtful, and reliable.
Overall, my entire stay was thoroughly satisfying. The only minor detail was that the hairdryer in the room had weak airflow. When I provided feedback during check-out, I received a thoughtful response that the hotel is currently upgrading and replacing them in batches, and the remaining un-updated rooms will be done soon. The overall experience was impeccable, and I genuinely recommend it to friends traveling to Qingdao. I will choose to stay here again on my next visit to Qingdao. My heartfelt thanks again to all the staff at Qingdao Haitian Hotel for their dedicated service, which truly exceeded my travel expectations and lived up to the wonderful reputation of hospitable Shandong!

This hotel offers excellent value for money. The front desk staff, especially one lady, was incredibly attentive and patient. She helped answer all our questions, recommended local attractions, and even upgraded our room! The surrounding scenery is beautiful, our room faced the sea, had great natural light, and was very clean.

It was a very satisfying stay overall. The staff were friendly and responded quickly whenever I needed assistance. Thanks to Liu and Ding, I was able to stay very comfortably. I really appreciate their help.
Location – The location is very convenient. It’s within about a 10-minute walk to Wanxiangcheng and around 5 minutes to May Fourth Square. It was also easy to catch a taxi right in front of the hotel.
Room – The room was spacious and apartment-style, which makes it a great option for stays longer than one night. It was clean, and the slippers were replaced daily. The refrigerator was large, and having a separate living room makes it especially suitable for families.
The only minor downside was that the bathroom shower head was quite small and a bit inconvenient to use. I brought a portable shower head, which worked well for me. And the hair dryier was not that good.
Overall, it was a very satisfying place to stay. I had a great experience.

My luxurious experience at MGM Qingdao wouldn't have been complete without Elly's excellent service! Before my trip, I inquired about the hotel's pool and gym rules, and Elly provided a timely and detailed response, clearly outlining the reservation process, opening hours, and even offering thoughtful reminders about important considerations. After checking in, I wanted to change my room's pillow type. I contacted Elly, and within minutes, the change was arranged. The response time was superb, and her attitude throughout was gentle and patient.
The room facilities were in perfect condition, featuring modern light luxury decor combined with elements of Qingdao's mountains and sea. The space was bright and tidy, with 270° panoramic floor-to-ceiling windows offering unobstructed sea views. High-end bedding, custom bathrooms, and smart home appliances were all well-appointed, providing a first-class living experience.
The sky pool was impressive both in appearance and experience. Its high-altitude infinity design directly overlooked the Yellow Sea, with clean, constant-temperature water and a comfortable resting area. Swimming while enjoying the mountain and sea views was both pleasant and relaxing. The gym was upscale and spacious, with floor-to-ceiling windows offering full sea views and ample natural light. It was equipped with a rich variety of imported equipment and professionally divided zones to meet all types of exercise needs. Being open 24 hours, the workout experience was excellent. I will definitely prioritize staying here again on my next visit to Qingdao!

Despite a few hiccups, I still give this hotel a five-star rating because the service truly embodied the renowned 'Hospitality of Shandong.'
**Environment**: The hotel, formerly a Sofitel, is a star-rated establishment. Its location is convenient for attractions, easily accessible on foot or by shared bike. The guest rooms show their age but are impeccably clean. The only minor issue was the long wait for the upper-floor elevators due to heavy traffic (two out of four high-rise elevators were undergoing upgrades). Otherwise, the experience was very good.
**Dining**: The top-floor revolving restaurant is unique. Breakfast was decent, with some dishes like *jianbing sazi* and *tianmo* offering distinctive Jinan flavors, and the cabbage and tofu having a comforting, homemade taste.
Now, about the 'hiccups.' I had booked two separate orders for two days through different platforms, not realizing I had booked different room types. Upon check-in, the front desk proactively upgraded us to a suite for both days to avoid us having to switch rooms midway. Unexpectedly, on the second day, I received a call from the hotel stating that due to an order conflict, we needed to vacate our current room and move to another suite. This was because our room was the hotel's only special room type (with two suites that could be connected), and a new booking for a family trip had come in for it. I was already out at an attraction, which, of course, caused some inconvenience. However, the young man on the phone was extremely apologetic, saying, 'I'm so sorry, this is our fault. We tried to do something good for you, but it backfired...' I assured him I would cooperate. At noon, after returning to the room and packing, when I went to exchange key cards, two front desk staff members (the young man who called and possibly a manager) were already waiting for me. They apologized again in person and explained the situation in detail: they had checked the logs and found that due to a delay in system integration, another order from a different platform had come through after our upgrade and room allocation, causing the conflict. The staff offered to help us pack our luggage, escort us to the new room, and even offered additional gifts, apologizing profusely. Although I didn't need help with packing, what struck me most was their sincere comment during our conversation: 'This situation makes me feel like you're a guest in my home, and I haven't treated my friend well.' That statement touched me, making me feel that this hotel and its entire staff genuinely care for their guests, even during the peak May Day holiday when they were fully booked, they truly wanted to give every guest, everyone visiting Shandong, the best experience. My job involves customer experience management, so I often find myself looking at every service experience with a 'professional bias.' Yet, I am still willing to give a good review this time because the staff at this hotel, especially in handling an unexpected situation, showed no evasion or indifference. Instead, I saw dedication and sincerity, which is the very essence of excellent service. From this perspective, I believe this level of service is on par with what I've experienced at service-renowned hotels like the Four Seasons or the Fairmont Peace Hotel in Shanghai. I also wish this hotel continued success.

I stayed in a first-row sea view room, and the view was absolutely unobstructed – nothing but endless blue sea and sky. The room itself was tidy and clean, with a cozy layout and excellent amenities, making for a truly comfortable and relaxing stay. In the evenings, I enjoyed watching the sunset over the sea, and in the mornings, I woke up to the sound of the waves. The ambiance was just perfect. The location is excellent, making it easy to get around and explore. Overall, it was a fantastic experience, and I'll definitely choose this place again for my next beach getaway.

The sea view room offers an amazing view, and watching the sea in the morning is incredibly therapeutic. The room is clean and tidy, and the service is attentive. My stay was perfect, and I'll definitely be back! The panoramic sea view is spectacular, the room is clean and comfortable, the bedding is soft, and the service is excellent. ZZhonghuajiayituziVisited the hotel on the day of the Navy Festival, after touring active warships. The lady at the front desk was beautiful and spoke sweetly, providing excellent service – big thumbs up! The room was very tidy, and the bed was comfortable. I walked over 20,000 steps every day during my stay, so getting good rest at night was crucial and I slept wonderfully! The hotel is practically right outside a metro station, making it super convenient to get to various attractions in Qingdao. It's also just a ten-minute walk to May Fourth Square, which is very handy! Within a two-minute walk from the hotel, there's a cluster of quick-service restaurants, offering bento boxes, dumplings, stir-fries, and a supermarket. After a long day, it was great to have simple and quick dinner options! And I didn't get an upset stomach once, which was a huge plus! All three aspects – food, accommodation, and transportation – were excellent. The hotel even included a breakfast with both Western and Chinese options: soy milk, fried dough sticks, coffee, bread, and a wide variety of dishes and drinks. Delicious! Absolutely fantastic! Truly lives up to its four-star rating!

AAnonymous UserThe environment of the community is good, but the furniture in the room is a bit old, the sofa is torn, and the floor is peeling. The bathroom is so big, but the shower room is so small. It is difficult for a fat person to turn around. There are ants crawling in the bathroom. It is equipped as a B&B. There were very few things, including no laundry detergent. The suitcase had to be dragged along a relatively uneven decorative road, which was very inconvenient. The wheels were very worn and noisy. The security guy's service is better than that at the front desk. Not cost effective
AAnonymous UserBefore leaving Beijing, I booked the Nishi Haitai Resort Hotel on Ctrip. Although the online review was only 4.1, I still firmly chose this hotel. Later, it was confirmed that my choice was absolutely correct. The hotel is good in all aspects and must be given 100 points. 1. The hotel is in a good location. You can watch the sunrise while lying on the bed, face the sea, blow the sea breeze and listen to the sound of the waves. The hotel has a private beach. The elevator goes to the B1 floor and you can walk to the lighthouse, Lily Bay, Children's Palace, Sakura Lake, Seaside Park, etc. along the beach. You can also take the bus No. 117 or No. 289 in front of the door. Bus No. 117 goes directly to Huaxing Bridge, a popular check-in place. 2. The hotel lobby is magnificent and unique, with the most distinctive various bear toys, which are posed differently every day. In addition, you can watch the sea from the public platform on each floor of the hotel, and there is a children's playground on each floor, which is suitable for walking babies. 3. The hotel has a variety of breakfasts, roasted tobacco potatoes, meat sauce buns, and fried dough sticks must be tasted, and different fruits are served every day. Lunch and dinner can also be served at the hotel, the dishes taste good and the price is reasonable. 4. There are churches, sun umbrellas, and rest cabins on the beach of the hotel, which is warm and romantic. 4. It takes 10 minutes by taxi from Rongcheng High-speed Railway Station to the hotel. I originally planned to stay for 3 days, but then I extended my stay for 2 days. I strongly recommend friends who go to Rongcheng to stay at Nishi Haitai Resort Hotel, which is definitely worth experiencing and you will definitely linger after the experience.
BBig World travelerThis resort is amazing. I came here twice during April because I loved the experience so much! The area is beautiful. It's super relaxing to soak in the hot springs, and they are in a beautiful landscaped area. I loved the ladies that were outside handing out delicious ginger tea. They were so attentive. In fact, all the staff was super kind and friendly and went out of their way to make this a fantastic experience. The restaurant food is very good. The breakfast is well done with lots of options. If you are a westerner, you will not find any western food. I am, and I do love Chinese food, but on occasion, I would like to have food I'm familiar with. That's just me. The rooms are clean and comfortable. There is a lake in the back that is nice to walk around. The nearby village is also pleasant to walk to. This resort is far from the tourist attractions, but DiDi's are available, it's just a little pricey to travel into the city of Wehai. The nearest train station is Weihainanhai. It's closer to the resort. About 40 RMB to get there. Don't let the private drivers rip you off into paying 60RMB. ( I had that experience.) I would highly recommend this resort, and will be back again in the future.
GGuest UserMy Stay at XX Hotel: A Perfect Trip Beyond Expectations! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
I just finished a three-day stay at XX Hotel and I can't wait to share my delightful experience! From the moment I stepped into the lobby, the warm atmosphere and attentive service made me feel incredibly welcome. The front desk staff greeted us with smiles, handled check-in efficiently, and thoughtfully provided information about the hotel's facilities and nearby attractions.
🛏️ Room Experience: Impeccable Attention to Detail!
The guest room was spacious and bright, and the cleanliness was flawless – crisp white linens, a bathroom with a separate wet/dry area completely free of water stains, and not a speck of dust even in the corners. What truly stood out was the incredibly comfortable mattress and the variety of pillows, which ensured I had a wonderfully restful night's sleep. The room was also equipped with a smart control system (e.g., voice-activated lighting and curtains), perfectly blending technology with user-friendliness.
🍽️ Dining & Facilities: Abundant and Convenient!
The breakfast spread was extensive, offering everything from Western and Chinese options to local specialties. The restaurant had an elegant ambiance with great views, truly providing a feast for both the palate and the eyes. The hotel also boasts a 24-hour gym and self-service laundry facilities, which are incredibly convenient for business travelers.
💝 Service: A Truly Homely Warmth!
What impressed me most was the hotel's exceptionally warm service. On my second day, I unexpectedly caught a cold, and the housekeeping staff noticed, proactively bringing ginger tea and cold medicine to my room. Upon check-out, the front desk even gave us local specialty snacks as a thoughtful farewell gift. This kind of above-and-beyond care truly touched me.
📍 Location & Transport: Extremely Convenient!
The hotel is centrally located, within walking distance of several attractions and subway stations. There are also plenty of restaurants and supermarkets nearby, making it perfect for both business trips and leisure travel.
In summary, this stay completely exceeded my expectations and offered excellent value for money! Without hesitation, I've added XX Hotel to my 'must-stay-again' list, and I wholeheartedly recommend it to everyone!

GGuest UserFacilities: The room decor is quite classic, the room is spacious, the minibar was promptly replenished, and the turndown service was good.
Cleanliness: Housekeeping was very quick, and the laundry service was punctual and clean.
Environment: It happened to be marathon day today, and watching the sea and the marathon from the balcony was a delight.
Service: A butler was provided, and the service was attentive. The only slight drawback was that there were events near the entrance these past few days, so the welcome at the door was a bit less prominent.

AAnonymous UserHotel is located in the middle of an attraction and therefore accessibility’s limited. It’s not near any subway station nor the main room, so you need to call the hotel to pick you up when you’re checking in with luggages.
Location is good though, it is near all the main attractions and we basically walked to all the attractions (20k stepso a day though).
Room is a little small and heater is not consistent.
The view that greets us every morning when we are going out is lovely though, since the hotel is located inside a lovely lake. Breakfast is nothing much to shout about.
GGuest UserStayed just after Spring Festival, when the sun is rising earlier and earlier. It is so lovely to wake up to natural sun light through wall to wall windows. The location is fantastic, short walk to sea front or StarBucks (7am opening!) and the walk is downhill, so no matter how bad the hangover it's doable. Then in the evening, the access to the mall on the VI floor means you literally can have cocktails in the evening, while enjoying a kinda rooftop garden (see photo).
So it's not an established hotel chain, but take a risks and enjoy similar features, sans room service

GGuest UserI originally booked a King Room with a lake view, but due to renovations, there was a longer-than-expected wait. They ended up upgrading us to a suite. The suite's facilities felt a bit dated, and finding accessible power outlets was a bit of a challenge. However, I'm glad to say there were no strange odors, and the service was excellent. Sister Zheng Xiuzhi, who was in charge of the 11th floor, even brought us fresh fruit. Absolutely loved it!
XXiaolinmemeda0407The service was excellent and very warm. The hotel was clean, and the heating worked perfectly. Parking was convenient, both above ground and in the basement. Wanda Plaza is right next door, making dining very easy. When I chatted with Ms. Zhao, a restaurant staff member, about climbing Mount Tai during breakfast, she even packed us some snacks and things our child loves. Truly full of warmth!
