"First off, the hotel's location is fantastic, right inside the Tonghu Grassland scenic area. The environment is superb, and transportation is very convenient, with shuttle buses available within the scenic area. The butler service was exceptionally good; they provide one-on-one service, contacting you in advance and offering excellent suggestions for your itinerary. Since we were traveling with our child this time, he participated in the evening stargazing activity, which I highly recommend! It's especially great for fostering a child's interest in astronomy. The hotel also hosted an amazing 'Ma Dao Cheng Gong' (instant success) equestrian show in the evening, which was incredibly impressive and definitely worth seeing. Additionally, the hotel offers excellent travel photography services at a reasonable price, and the photos turned out beautifully. Overall, I give this hotel a full five-star rating; everything was wonderful! We'll definitely be back!"

The hotel is nestled at the foot of Helan Mountain, where light pollution is minimal, making the night sky incredibly clear. On clear nights, you can simply look up and see a sky full of stars, creating an absolutely magical atmosphere. The hotel offers both indoor and spacious outdoor stargazing areas. Indoors, you can escape the chilly night winds, allowing even those sensitive to the cold to comfortably enjoy the starry sky. Outdoors, the unobstructed views directly face the vast night sky, where the evening breeze combined with the tranquility of the distant mountains provides an immersive experience of the romantic Northwestern stars. What truly deserves praise is the astronomy telescope teaching service. The professional instructor explains complex astronomical knowledge in an easy-to-understand way, patiently guiding you step-by-step through the telescope's operation – from locating stars and focusing to aligning with celestial bodies. Even complete beginners can quickly get the hang of it. Seeing Saturn and the Moon through the telescope with my own eyes was far more breathtaking than any picture. We also learned to identify constellations and gained knowledge about the Milky Way; both adults and children found it incredibly rewarding. The instructor was meticulous in their explanations, addressing everyone's questions without being perfunctory. Afterwards, they even shared stargazing tips, making the whole experience exceptionally good. The hotel's overall environment is elegant, the rooms are comfortable, and the amenities are thoughtful. You can relax during the day and embark on a starry adventure at night, perfectly blending vacation with educational exploration. I highly recommend this experience for both romantic getaways and family trips. Escaping the city hustle to encounter the brilliant Milky Way at the foot of Helan Mountain is an unforgettable travel memory. Highly recommended!"

"Having compared many hotels in Yinchuan, my stay at JW Marriott this time left a particularly deep impression. It's not just about the outstanding facilities; what's even more remarkable is the warm and attentive service from the staff. I especially want to thank Geng Wei at the front desk. Her service wasn't just a perfunctory, by-the-numbers interaction; she was sincere and generous in our conversations, proactively sharing tips to avoid tourist traps for local dining and entertainment, providing many practical recommendations. The room had great natural light, and the toiletries were of high quality. It was quiet and peaceful at night, and all my travel fatigue melted away. It's definitely worth making a special trip to experience."

"The location is quite close to Lanshan Park, a 20-minute walk or a few minutes by shared bike. The decor is quite luxurious, and the rooms are large with all the necessary amenities. As a five-star hotel in Yinchuan, especially a Sheraton, the service and hygiene leave something to be desired. When checking in, the front desk staff had a poker face and didn't offer any basic information. I don't know if she was in a bad mood or what. Also, an older gentleman came to ask for the Wi-Fi password, and she just pointed to the hotel sign and said, 'Look here.' I was baffled because there was no password displayed on the sign. Luckily, the gentleman was good-tempered and, after looking around confusedly, went to find another receptionist. The shower temperature adjustment in the bathroom is quite odd; you have to turn on the hot and cold water separately and then adjust it yourself. You have to readjust it every time, and my child got scalded a few times. Plus, there's a strange odor in the shower room, and I'm not sure what it is. I rarely give anything less than a 5-star rating unless the experience is truly subpar."

"Staying in Ningxia, after walking the Northwest Great Ring Road, Xinjiang all the way to the dust, settled in Yinchuan, this hotel is particularly warm. Just arrived at the hotel, the child drank electrolyte water in the car and vomited. The girl at the front desk didn't mind half a little, soothing, handing paper towels and taking water. The lobby also has a lot of souvenir seals for attractions. This road runs through Xinjiang, Gansu and Qinghai, and other hotels are rarely seen. In the evening, the aunt in the room made a special trip upstairs to send the children's toiletries, saying that she had been busy and had no time to come up, and she was sincere and full of guilt. The room was clean and bright, the bed was very comfortable, and the pillow configuration was sufficient. The restaurant on the first floor has delicious food, health, lamb leg meat, cold sand onions, beef hooves, egg tomato noodle soup... The price is high. The breakfast is balanced and the cooked noodle soup is delicious. Often through a hotel, you can read the temperature of a city when you meet sincere people. This time it is a way to stay. "Came to the desert in April and had an absolutely amazing experience! All the activities were open and available, and the temperature was perfect – not too hot, not too cold. The Sand Dream Hotel was very clean, and the bedding was super comfortable, making for a really relaxing stay. The room facilities were brand new. What really stood out was the placement of the rooms: one side faced the desert sunset, and the other faced the sand sea. It truly offered unbeatable views, making it feel like you were living *within* the scenery, not just on its edge. This unique vantage point is something only this hotel in the entire scenic area offers. Plus, desert research and stargazing activities were included, and ordering food was quite affordable. The staff were always available when called, and their service attitude was very friendly. Next time I bring friends, I'll definitely stay at Sand Dream again."

"I stayed in an air-conditioned cabin without a private bathroom this time. It was cleaner than I expected. I'd recommend bringing a pair of flip-flops for the shared showers. Other amenities like toothbrushes and towels were disposable, which was great. Getting a taxi was difficult, but the host was incredibly thoughtful and came to pick us up. There was a bonfire party in the evening, and they set off fireworks like there was no tomorrow! Watching the stars and fireworks in the desert was absolutely beautiful!"
