Guest UserI asked the front desk staff to arrange a room with a sea view for us, and the lady at the front desk did an excellent job. The hotel has a beautiful environment, and it was a very comfortable stay. We had a wonderful time and felt great. Thumbs up! 👍 There's a beach nearby, which is perfect for family trips. The hotel also offers a free shuttle bus service to and from the subway station, which is great service.

Guest UserTo us it was so convenient being able to easily walk to the hotel from the airport.
The hotel was clean and the breakfast buffet was quite good.
However the room was definitely showing the ages with the furniture fabrics almost giving some smell.
What really disappointed us was the fact that the swimming pool closed too early at 8pm - we really wanted to use some pool time to relax. It is a transit hotel being so close to the airport so you thought the pool should be opening 22 hours a day.

Guest UserThis hotel boasts an excellent location, making it easy to get around by taxi or public transport. The lobby is clean and grand, and the front desk staff are patient and friendly; check-in and check-out were quick. The room was meticulously cleaned with no unpleasant odors, and the mattress was just right – not too soft, not too firm – ensuring a great night's sleep. The bathroom had consistent water pressure and plenty of hot water. The facilities are well-maintained, and overall, it offers better value than expected. It's my top choice for accommodation when traveling.

Guest UserEveryone, avoid this hotel! This is my first time leaving a negative review for a hotel.
1. The service attitude was absolutely terrible. From the moment I checked in, I said ”Hello...” but the staff didn't even bother to respond with a ”Hello” back and had a sour face the entire time. In the service industry, there should be a basic level of politeness!
2. Check-out is at 11 AM, and check-in is at 3 PM. This is an absolutely outrageous, one-sided policy. I didn't notice these times when I booked. Isn't anyone going to address this?
3. The hotel's so-called ”free shuttle” requires booking a day in advance. There was no mention of this when I checked in. You have to ask about everything yourself! It's completely hit-or-miss.
4. The young staff at the concierge desk were also unhelpful and made things difficult for guests. The next day, they wouldn't let me bring my luggage on the bus, claiming it was too big. It was just a small carry-on suitcase, how big could it be?!
I said, ”Yesterday, I confirmed with the concierge staff that I could bring it on the bus.” Then the tall, slender concierge kept questioning, ”Which staff member? What's their name? Who told you that?” Am I supposed to remember the name of every staff member just to take the bus?
5. We booked a standard room, and the bedside table in the middle was as shown in the picture – make of it what you will. The soundproofing was also poor.
All in all, everyone should seriously reconsider staying at this hotel! Afterwards, I searched for negative reviews about this hotel to see if anyone else had the same terrible experience. It turns out the news about this hotel is truly shocking.

Guest UserOur stay at The Emperor Hotel Causeway Bay in Hong Kong was absolutely fantastic! As soon as my daughter walked in, she said she loved it. I immediately started taking photos and posted on social media about how wonderful and elegant this hotel is. We were on the 29th floor, and the large window offered stunning views of Victoria Harbour. The ceilings are high, and they provided toothbrushes, soap, coffee, and tea. On the second day, we even received a complimentary bottle of mineral water. The front desk also offers free tea, coffee, and newspapers. This hotel completely shattered my preconceptions about Hong Kong accommodation being expensive and small. The Tin Hau MTR station is super convenient for getting around. On our last day, when we stored our luggage, they even gave us two Ferrero Rocher chocolates as we left – so polite and incredibly thoughtful! My daughter and I both agreed that we'll definitely stay here again next time we visit Hong Kong! Several parents who saw my Hong Kong trip photos have asked me where we stayed, and I've been recommending The Emperor Hotel Causeway Bay without hesitation! You can really see how much we loved this hotel from my photos!

YuucaI stayed at this hotel to attend an event. Although it wasn't a harbor view, I had a great view of the sea from my window, and I was very satisfied with the scenery. The morning view was also very pleasant, making for a stay where I truly felt I had chosen the right hotel.
I'm grateful to the hotel for assigning me this room.
The location is also excellent, with fantastic access to Mong Kok, where the event venue was, and the popular Tsim Sha Tsui, both just one stop away. The A21 bus stop for the airport was also conveniently close. It's connected to the adjacent shopping mall, so you can get to the MTR station mostly without getting wet, even if it rains. You can also enjoy shopping and dining within the mall.
The room showed some signs of age, but it was well-cleaned and maintained, making for a comfortable stay. Towels and toiletries like soap are provided, but there are no amenities such as toothbrushes or combs, nor is there complimentary drinking water. Since I had brought my own, I didn't experience any inconvenience. If you need these items, it's reassuring to bring them yourself.
This is a hotel I would like to use again when I visit Hong Kong.

The hotel's setting is quite good; it's probably hard to find a resort-style hotel in Hong Kong at such an affordable price. The surroundings are beautiful and well-maintained, and the kids had a great time swimming and playing on the beach. However, the rooms are a bit old and not very spacious, and the facilities are somewhat outdated. The hotel staff were all friendly, polite, and helpful. If you're looking for a family beach holiday in Hong Kong, this hotel is quite suitable. The nearby Gold Coast Piazza makes dining convenient, and there's also a supermarket and several convenience stores.

QinaideduoduoThe room was spacious and clean, with cozy, dim lighting. I loved the charming bay window and the old-fashioned rotary light switches. It had a shower stall and a vintage toilet, but no bathtub. They didn't provide free toothbrushes or disposable slippers, but there was hand soap, shampoo, body wash, and towels.
The staff explained everything clearly and were very helpful. They spoke fluent Mandarin. The room came with discount vouchers for the hotel's shop and restaurant. There were no character interactions. The pool was outdoors, and I didn't try any of the activities, so I can't comment on them.
Hong Kong Disneyland was a lot of fun, but I think I got bitten by mosquitoes while waiting for the shuttle bus. Even after spraying repellent, it didn't help at all... my legs were covered in itchy, painful bites, which meant I didn't get good rest for two days.

This is my honest review. It was my first time visiting Hong Kong, and I wanted to spend a day on an outlying island after landing at the airport, so I chose this hotel. It exceeded my expectations – it was beautiful! My two kids had a blast in the pool, and it was a great spot for photos. The room's hygiene and facilities, as well as the buffet, were excellent. Plus, there's a free shuttle service to and from Hong Kong, Kowloon, and the airport. They even upgraded us for free to a family room when they saw I had booked a king bed with two kids, which was absolutely fantastic! 👍👍👍

KuernafankuaiMy stay at the Regal Riverside Hotel in Hong Kong far exceeded my expectations – a definite five-star review!
The room came equipped with a high-end Swiss professional hairdryer from Valera. The build quality felt solid and premium, even more so than a Dyson, with a stable, constant airflow that was great for hair care. As someone with long hair, I really appreciated how quickly it dried. This excellent user experience really highlights the hotel's commitment to high-end amenities.
The room also featured several art pieces on the walls, which were aesthetically pleasing and a joy to look at during downtime, creating a wonderful ambiance. The bathroom had a consistent and abundant supply of hot water, with a smooth, constant temperature, making for a comfortable and relaxing shower experience. The room was clean, well-maintained, and the facilities overall were thoughtfully designed. The hotel's amenities are comprehensive, and getting around was convenient. From the stylish soft furnishings to the essential hardware, everything exuded quality. It was a comfortable and pleasant stay. This will be my top choice for accommodation when visiting Hong Kong, and I'll definitely choose it again for future trips!
