Five-star full marks! ✨ Atlantis Sanya is absolutely worth it!
Overall Experience: A perfect score, definitely my top choice for a Sanya vacation. The stay far exceeded my expectations.
The hotel itself is luxurious and grand. The giant aquarium in the lobby creates an amazing atmosphere, and every photo taken looks like it's from a magazine. The room I stayed in had a fantastic view, directly facing the stunning seascape of Haitang Bay. Waking up to the sea breeze and sunshine was incredibly comfortable.
Room Cleanliness: The room was clean, tidy, and spacious. The bedding was soft and skin-friendly, and the toiletries had a sophisticated scent. The attention to detail was evident. The staff were gentle, attentive, and responded quickly to requests. The entire experience was excellent.
Most Satisfying: The unlimited access to the Aquaventure Waterpark and The Lost Chambers Aquarium included with the stay was incredible value for money. The water park rides were thrilling and fun, and the aquarium offered close-up views of various marine creatures, creating a dreamy and therapeutic atmosphere. The C Show performance was also stunning and impressive. It's truly enjoyable for all ages.
All dining and entertainment options can be found within the hotel, and the facilities are comprehensive and convenient. It's perfectly suited for both family trips and leisure vacations. The experience was impeccable, and I genuinely recommend it. I'll definitely choose to stay here again on my next trip to Sanya!

Our first family room had a damp smell, but the front desk manager kindly helped us switch to another family room facing the sea. The service was attentive, and the room was clean. Breakfast had a decent variety, and the environment was pleasant. The water park wasn't open yet, and the ocean park didn't have much to do besides taking photos. It was off-season, so there weren't many people. The kids' world is still under construction. There's a food street near the hotel, making dining quite convenient. The hotel also offers a paid mini-train ride that takes you around the hotel for 40 minutes at 15 yuan per ride, which is worth it. There's Twin Beach near the Hilton, which is great for watching the sunset. If the island's facilities improve further, I would definitely visit again.

After our trip to Shimei Bay, we arrived at the hotel with my entire family, including young children and elderly parents, along with several large suitcases. We were understandably quite tired from the journey. Upon arrival, it was clear that the hotel had a significant shortage of staff both inside and outside the lobby – a stark contrast to Shimei Bay, where service personnel were readily available everywhere. Although there weren't many guests checking in at the time, and the scene wasn't particularly busy, given our large group and numerous bags, I had to proactively request a luggage cart to make things easier. For a resort hotel that prides itself on the guest experience, the initial service response would be much better if it were more proactive and if staffing levels were more adequate.
Regarding the room, the promotional pictures I saw when booking showed a sea-facing view with a visible beach. However, the actual view from our room was quite different from what we expected. While we could see the sea in the distance, our primary view was of the hotel's pool area, and the beach wasn't visible at all. The visual impression didn't match the promotional images.
During the Chinese New Year period, the hotel organized various activities, some free and some with a charge, which is understandable. However, it was quite surprising to find that even digging for sand crabs on the public beach area required an additional fee. Compared to the hotel we stayed at previously in Shimei Bay, the activity planning here was indeed a bit lackluster.
On the bright side, the breakfast was excellent. There was a rich variety of options, especially the Pandan Tofu Pudding, Pandan Pancakes, and various Hainan noodles. These were not only distinctive but also delicious, adding a wonderful culinary delight to our mornings.
What truly impressed us was the mature food scene around the hotel. From Coconut Chicken, Wenchang Chicken, Ding'an Jumping Beef (which can be hotpot or BBQ), Baoluo Noodles, Hainan Noodles, to all sorts of desserts and snacks – the choices were incredibly diverse. This added a lot of local flavor and memorable gastronomic experiences to our trip.
The hotel's beach area itself was quite good. The sea breeze, sand quality, and the overall experience were very relaxing and comfortable.

This guesthouse has a great environment, very close to the beach, and fully equipped with a communal pool. It's clean and tidy, with two large Sanya characters (likely a landmark or decorative feature). The room offers a 180-degree sea view. The service is excellent, and communication was timely and effective. It's perfect for photos on a good day, and the lobby is also very photogenic! They even made us some refreshing new drinks.

The experience at MGM Grand Sanya was fantastic! The first-line sea view was absolutely stunning, the beach was fine, and the water was crystal clear. The room was spacious and elegant, fully equipped, and the bedding was comfortable. The balcony view of the sea was incredibly therapeutic. The service was warm, attentive, and very responsive. There were plenty of activities like the swimming pool, surfing, and ziplining – the zipline was particularly thrilling! The poolside BBQ was delicious, and the resort facilities were excellent. It's a one-stop shop for dining, accommodation, and entertainment, truly maximizing the vacation vibe. Highly recommend!

This is one of those hotels I *had* to leave a glowing review for. Honestly, given the price, I wasn't expecting much, and Wyndham hasn't always impressed me in the past. But from the moment I stepped out of the car, Mr. He from the concierge team rushed over to open the door and help with my luggage, greeting me so warmly. When I mentioned wanting to go to the gym, he even took me there to show me around first. And then there were Xiao Jun at the front desk and Raja from India – their service was absolutely outstanding, so professional and enthusiastic. These were just three staff members I encountered, but everyone else was equally excellent. The location is also top-notch, right by the sea, and the cleanliness is great too. Purely from an experience perspective, it felt no different from hotels I've stayed at costing thousands a night. Definitely the best hotel in Wenchang, no competition.

This stay in the Sunset Dome King Room in Sanya truly exceeded my expectations.
The room is on the top floor, very quiet, and the white sheer curtains blowing in the breeze create such a beautiful, ethereal atmosphere. I could watch the waves and the sunset 🌅 right from my bed. The balcony was also gorgeous; sipping afternoon tea while watching the sea and waiting for the sunset was incredibly relaxing. The whole room is smart-home enabled, which was super convenient, and there's a huge projector screen – I honestly didn't even want to leave the room.
The beach is right downstairs and it gets really lively at night. The butler was also excellent, very responsive and available 24/7. I'd definitely want to stay here again on my next visit!

I immensely enjoyed my stay in Central Coast Sea.View Hotel Sanya for 4 nights. Excellent breakfast hall and food selection. Excellent butler service by Levi . You can request water, towels, utensils (cutlery) from WeChat message. Also, the complimentary fruit plate was excellent . ( look for the mango mini size and passion fruit).
The front desk staff ( Lila ) was very helpful in ordering food from ******* ( dumplings ) and then I simply send her money from AliPay. As of April 2025, There is a major construction ( underwater tunnel ) and there is some noise, however the noise subsided at night around 9pm.
Overall, highly recommend . Excellent hotel, amazing views, amazing location, very central and amazing value compared to other 5 star hotels in Sanya Hainan area.
No doubt, I would recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Sanya.

Out of the 7 days we spent in Sanya, staying at 5 different hotels, this Bird's Nest Resort was by far the most comfortable. The hotel environment is excellent. We booked a Magpie Room, and Mr. Xu, the guest relations manager who contacted me beforehand, thoughtfully arranged room 8 for us, knowing we had a child. The view from there was truly unbeatable. My child was thrilled, feeling like they were living in a treehouse. No matter where we were in the resort, the hotel could send a car to pick us up. Before checking out on the second day, Mr. Xu reminded us that we could request a late check-out and luggage service.
In summary: The service at Bird's Nest Hotel is incredibly thoughtful and seamless. My family and I felt that from Mr. Xu onwards, all the staff we encountered during our stay had excellent attitudes.
When we checked out, my wife, who's usually in charge at home, said: 'That guesthouse in Houhai Village was the worst booking, but this Bird's Nest was the best.' I guess my good deed balanced out the bad.

Very Good
AAnonymous UserI spontaneously decided to visit Hainan for a few days during the May Day holiday and booked this hotel in a hurry. The online reviews were mixed, so I was quite apprehensive before arriving, but I ended up being quite satisfied.
First, there's our butler, Cici. She's a lovely girl who was incredibly responsive to all our requests and organized everything thoughtfully. I'm really grateful to her.
Second, the villa-style rooms mean you don't have to worry about noise; it's very quiet and private. The bedding is also more comfortable than what you usually find in Sanya hotels – the mattress isn't too soft, which is perfect for someone like me who struggles with sleep.
Third, having a private pool means you can swim whenever you like. And right after a swim, you can hop into a hot shower; the hot water pressure was excellent.
Fourth, the hotel's pest control is pretty good. There were no mosquitoes, and the villa's small courtyard only had tiny ants, unlike other Sanya villa hotels where you often see large insects everywhere.
Fifth, the location is great. In a 'food desert' like Sanya, convenient food delivery is really important.
Here are the downsides:
First, the decor is quite basic. However, I don't really mind that; it was clean, so I was okay with it.
Second, the food is just so-so. The breakfast is fine for a standard hotel, but for a resort, it's a bit subpar and the taste is very ordinary. Villa guests only get one type of fresh juice daily, and breakfast only runs until 10:30 AM.
Third, aside from Cici, the other staff members seemed very unmotivated. Even though breakfast starts at 7:30 AM, not all the food was out, and there wasn't a single staff member present.
During our stay, we had a minor issue with the buffet in the main building. Cici and the restaurant manager there resolved it immediately once they found out. Their attitude was great and very sincere. You can tell the hotel genuinely wants to provide good service, but perhaps they're working with a limited budget, as the hotel industry in Sanya is incredibly competitive.
Overall, it's a very good value-for-money hotel, and I would definitely come back.

TTangxinleizhenyuThe room overall is pretty good, and there are many more free activities to participate in. Two years ago, when I visited, I even caught the Earth Hour concert, which was very interesting. This time, the room type I stayed in was larger and had better facilities, and the price was still the same – great value for money. The downsides are that the air conditioning was really a bit warm, the maintenance of the beach and lawn wasn't great, and the restaurant food has become less appealing. Also, the hotel lobby now has a lot of stalls selling small merchandise, which feels quite cluttered. However, this might be unavoidable given its value-for-money approach, but I still hope they can make more improvements if possible.
Wwewetse_hlpHaitang Bay was the only place I hadn't visited yet, and since I was traveling with a child, I found that the InterContinental offered the most extensive range of kids' activities and entertainment, so I booked it without hesitation. The hotel room was very spacious, and they provided slippers, bathrobes, and toiletries for children. The breakfast even had a dedicated kids' buffet, which made my child feel involved in the morning meal. On the day we checked in, we were assigned a butler, Bobby, who sent daily greetings and checked in on us, providing reminders whether it was raining or sunny. The kids' club, mini-train, mini-cars, and bicycles were all available for unlimited use, and my child absolutely loved it. We booked a travel photoshoot on the third day, which was also very thoughtful. Even though it was hot and my child wasn't very cooperative, the photographer still managed to capture some pretty good shots despite the challenging conditions. The complimentary buffet also included a mermaid show. Every day was wonderfully enjoyable, and my child said they want to come back again next time!
GGuest UserThis stay exceeded all my expectations, I have to give it a perfect score! I was a bit worried at first because of some negative reviews online, but once we checked in, I found the hotel service to be absolutely fantastic. All the staff were friendly and welcoming, completely dispelling any of the issues mentioned in those bad reviews. We stayed in a Club Deluxe Seaview Room, which was very comfortable. We even got a room upgrade at check-in, moving straight into a seaview room. Opening the window to that stunning ocean view was so expansive and calming, it instantly lifted my spirits.
The hotel grounds are very spacious and beautifully landscaped, creating a relaxing vacation vibe everywhere you go. It's especially great for families with children, as the facilities are very kid-friendly, making it super easy to entertain the little ones.
The breakfast selection was incredibly rich, with fresh and delicious food that could satisfy anyone's dietary needs. We were very satisfied. They even had baby food available for the little ones.
I also want to give a special shout-out to our butler, Bella. Her service was incredibly prompt and responsive. Whether it was answering questions or fulfilling requests, she was always quick, patient, and her attitude was gentle and thoughtful. She helped us so much throughout our stay, making the entire experience exceptionally smooth and comfortable.
Overall, the stay was excellent. The environment, service, and food were all top-notch. I highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area, especially families with children.

GGuest UserThis hotel is located at the easternmost end of Yalong Bay, right next to the Underwater World, making it super convenient for water sports. We booked a sea-view king room, which turned out to be a couple's suite – it would be even more romantic if I had my partner with me next time!
Facilities: There's a self-service laundry room, but no dryer. It would be great if they could add one in the future.
Cleanliness: Very clean, especially the white bedsheets.
Environment: Right on the beach, so getting into the sea is very easy.
Service: The hotel staff are very enthusiastic, and they even offer travel photography services, which is perfect for capturing vacation memories.

GGuest UserThis is a true resort hotel. While the decor isn't the most modern, those seeking privacy will absolutely love it. Each room is a standalone unit with its own yard, and you hardly see other guests except during meals. The beach sand is quite fine, and it's mostly deserted. There's also a very photogenic pier that looks just like something out of La La Land! Our butler, Henry, was very responsive, even checking if we'd received our dessert at 9 PM. The front desk answered the phone on the first ring, and the shuttle was almost always immediate. Everyone's service was exceptional, really showing the quality of a five-star hotel. It's also perfect for a run; a 5k at sunset is absolutely delightful!

GGuangyueyutian. The Sheraton Sanya Haitang Bay Resort is a hotel where brand and quality coexist. In terms of facilities, the Sheraton upholds Marriott's excellent management and amenities. The staff are enthusiastic, polite, and proficient in both Chinese and English. They are also very meticulous about the cleanliness of the pools and hot tubs. I must commend the front desk manager for their excellent communication and for providing complimentary fruit and dessert. This truly exemplifies a top-quality hotel that treats guests as very important individuals. I want to express my gratitude to the hotel once again. Keep up the great work! 😊
