Guest UserFacilities: The facilities are very comprehensive and thoughtfully arranged! For example, they provide body lotion, and the tissues are thick. You can adjust the shower water temperature yourself, and the water pressure is great. The toiletries are also complete and very comfortable to use, making it feel just like showering at home. There's even a mini-fridge! The curtains are electric, and when you activate the sleep mode, they close automatically. The TV offers various channels. There's free self-service laundry, and each floor has a drying area. These small, thoughtful facilities are truly amazing! For a hotel in this price range, it offers exceptional value for money.
Cleanliness: The overall cleanliness is excellent; everything, even the glass, is sparkling clean.
Environment: The hotel parking lot is large, and there are many dining options nearby. If you're too tired to go out, the hotel has its own restaurant, and the food is good. The surroundings are also very quiet.
Service: The service is excellent. We had driven for five hours and were very tired when we arrived. When booking online, I had requested a non-smoking room. Out of the five or six hotels we stayed at during our Qinghai-Gansu Grand Loop trip, this was the only one that truly paid attention to our request. They told me they were arranging a non-smoking room for us, offered us water to rest while they processed it, and then informed us when it was ready. They also provided us with sun protection neck gaiters, small yogurts, and cookie snacks. All the teas in the room are complimentary, and even the drinking glasses come with a dust cover. We were so pleasantly surprised by these thoughtful touches. This was the most comfortable hotel we stayed at throughout our trip; we almost didn't want to leave. Since we had a lot of stuff, I didn't take many photos. I'm not a shill, I genuinely highly recommend this hotel!!

Guest UserThis was my first stay at the Holiday Inn Express Zhangye. Usually, when I'm in Zhangye for business, I just pick any hotel, but this time I chose it because a friend told me how beautiful Ganzhou Fucheng is and that there are lots of great food options to explore. So, I picked the Holiday Inn Express that's really close to Ganzhou Fucheng. As soon as I walked into the lobby, the staff greeted me warmly and quickly helped me check in, even upgrading me to a room with a view of Ganzhou Fucheng. The room was incredibly spacious and quiet. From my room, I could see the entire Zhangye Wetland Park and the Ganzhou Fucheng night market. After work, I went to the Ganzhou Fucheng night market, browsed around, and even had some delicious Fried Bola. The hotel room was clean and tidy, the staff provided excellent service, and the breakfast was incredibly rich and varied. They even offered me a complimentary late check-out. This stay was absolutely perfect, and I'll definitely come back if I have the chance!

Guest UserAbsolutely loved this hotel! The service was excellent, and the breakfast offered a great variety. The room was spacious, and we even got a free upgrade. The location is fantastic – just cross the Dunhuang Mother River in front, and you'll find all sorts of restaurants with good prices. They have a laundry room, making it incredible value for money. Plus, with the desert heat, having unlimited bottled water was such a thoughtful and considerate touch. A truly caring hotel!

AihaopengrenThere are actually many hotels in Dunhuang, and many of them have similar names, so it's crucial to be very careful when booking to avoid reserving the wrong one.
This Grand Metropark Hotel is located right by the main road, making its location very prominent. Dining options nearby are also very convenient, with a relatively famous restaurant directly across the street.
The hotel rooms are spacious and very bright. What's most worth mentioning is that they provide foot-soaking tubs and disposable foot-soaking bags. For tourists who have been tirelessly exploring Dunhuang, soaking your feet is truly a great way to relieve stress and feel comfortable.
While there are many hotels near the Dunhuang Night Market, this particular hotel is only about a five-minute walk from it.
The staff are all excellent and actively respond to your needs. This hotel is highly recommended.

Guest UserI stayed at Dunhuang Yuntian International Hotel for two nights from August 23rd to 25th, and I absolutely have to give it a rave review!
I took the train from Lanzhou to Dunhuang. I had informed the hotel of my train number in advance, and to my surprise, they arranged a complimentary pick-up service. As soon as I exited the station, I saw the driver holding a sign waiting for me, and he even helped carry my luggage to the car. This start alone earned them major bonus points.
The hotel's location is truly unbeatable, right next to Shazhou Night Market, just a few minutes' walk away. In the evenings, after exploring the night market, enjoying some BBQ, drinking apricot peel water, and buying souvenirs, I could just stroll back to the hotel. No need to worry about finding a taxi or walking too far. The bus to Mingsha Mountain stops right at the entrance, and a taxi to Mogao Grottoes only takes about ten minutes, making it super convenient for sightseeing.
I chose a room with a humidifier. Dunhuang is naturally dry in August, and with the humidifier on, sleeping was so much more comfortable; I didn't wake up in the middle of the night with a dry throat. The mattress was a zero-pressure type; you just sink into it, and I slept incredibly well. The hot water came on quickly, and the vanity thoughtfully provided disposable facial towels, which is a nice touch for women. The front desk staff were also very friendly and check-in was fast.
Breakfast starts at 7 AM and includes freshly ground coffee, yogurt, fruits, and local snacks. It's great not to have to go out hungry early in the morning looking for food, especially useful for those heading to Mogao Grottoes early.
Overall, for this price, to stay in the city center with pick-up service, a rich breakfast, and a clean, comfortable room, the value for money is truly high. I genuinely recommend this place for solo travelers or those bringing family to Dunhuang. I'll definitely stay here again next time!

WochaoaichixiangcaiDunhuang Hotel is arguably a must-try hotel when visiting Dunhuang. The parking lot in front of the hotel is huge, making parking very convenient. The front desk lobby is also very grand, and the murals are beautiful. When we checked in, they saw we had a child and upgraded us to a family room. Upon check-in, we received camel dolls and chilled apricot peel tea. The room wasn't very large, but it had a strong exotic feel. The Stargazing Pavilion on the top floor of the hotel offers coffee, breakfast, and the opportunity to watch the stars at night, with panoramic desert views. Overall, the experience was excellent. You definitely need to spend at least one night at Dunhuang Hotel when in Dunhuang.

Serena MandrileWe are an Italian family and we stayed at this hotel for around 10 days while we were fixing our motorhome in Zhangye. This hotel has the perfect position for us, near the beautiful and calm lake and with the city centre reachable with a short taxi drive. Our room at the ground floor had a private garden from which we enjoyed the sunshine every day, and my child was given a very cute camping tent that she loved to play with. One of the buildings in the hotel is a very nice restaurant that we enjoyed twice. Last but not least, the staff was so kind to us every day and extremely helpful with lot of things like ordering delivery food or receiving packages - as we don’t speak any Chinese at all, this was a blessing for us.

Visiting Dunhuang in spring was an absolute delight! The city is incredibly clean and tidy, with well-organized streets, making for an excellent overall experience. The hotel I stayed at offered top-notch service, was spotlessly clean, and paid attention to every little detail, making me feel very comfortable and secure.
And the food? Oh, I have to rave about the food! The donkey meat yellow noodles were perfectly chewy and flavorful, the Huyang焖饼 (braised lamb pancake) was rich and fragrant, and to top it all off, a glass of Li Guang apricot peel water was refreshing and cut through the richness. It was all full of authentic local flavors. Beautiful scenery, a clean city, great accommodation, and delicious food—Dunhuang is definitely worth another visit!
