Huangshan Baiyun Hotel truly lives up to its reputation as an excellent accommodation choice on the mountaintop! ✨ Its location is simply unbeatable! It's just a 10-minute walk to Bright Summit (Guangming Ding), making it incredibly convenient for watching the sunrise. You don't have to rush there in the early hours, which is a huge relief, especially if you're traveling with elderly family members or children. The entire hotel offers thoughtful and attentive service, and the staff are gentle and friendly. They patiently answer any questions you might have. After a tiring day of hiking, it's wonderful to return to the hotel and rest well. Given the difficulty of transporting supplies up the mountain, the facilities are quite good for a high-altitude hotel. Opening the window in the morning allows you to feel the mountain breeze, and you avoid the hassle of going up and down the mountain repeatedly. If you want to leisurely enjoy the sunrise and sunset of Huangshan, staying here is the best solution. I will definitely choose to stay here again on my next visit to Huangshan!

First of all, the hotel's location is excellent, right next to the ticket gate, and across the street from the core temple complex of Jiuhua Mountain. The temples are just steps away, making worshipping Buddha incredibly convenient! There's a direct bus to Huatai right outside the hotel, and the shuttle bus stop is just a minute or two's walk uphill, making it perfect for families with children and elderly members—no walking required. I must commend the hotel front desk staff on the morning of May 4th. When I checked out that morning, I left my jacket with my car keys in my room. I had already boarded the shuttle bus to Huatai, so I immediately called the front desk. The staff promptly went to my room, found my jacket and car keys, and placed them on the next shuttle bus to Huatai. I'm so grateful!!!

The vibe here is truly special! The owners put so much heart into running this place. The rooms are spotless, and the moment you step in, you just feel completely relaxed. In the evenings, they invite everyone to the lobby for tea and conversation, serving delicious tea snacks and fresh fruit. For two days straight, they gave complimentary special drinks to the kids and homemade millet wine to the adults. It felt just like visiting a friend's house, and the kids absolutely loved it. All the food was fantastic – purely handmade and organic. The water they served was mountain spring water, and the air was so fresh. On our last day, we joined the owner for a sunrise trip to the tea mountain. The sea of clouds was breathtaking, and it was wonderfully cool. I highly recommend this guesthouse for its warm hospitality. I'll definitely be back with my girlfriends next time. The experience at Xihai Hotel was fantastic! The front desk went out of their way to arrange two connecting rooms for us, which was incredibly thoughtful. The concierge was always available, not only reminding us of sunrise and sunset times, but also providing a guide to lead us to see the sunrise! We got to witness the sunrise over Huangshan, which was absolutely amazing! While the room facilities are a bit dated and the space on the mountain is somewhat compact, knowing that all materials are carried up by porters step by step makes it feel very good value for money and understandable. The bedding was clean and hygienic, making for a comfortable stay. The dining was a pleasant surprise; the lunch buffet was affordable, and the dinner buffet offered a rich variety of dishes, including the special ”Monkey King Fried Rice”! The person playing the Monkey King was excellent! There were also fun performances in the evening, which the kids absolutely loved. To enjoy this level of service at the top of Huangshan is definitely worth it!

This guesthouse is located right inside the scenic area, making it super convenient for resting after an evening stroll. The decor is charmingly traditional, perfectly complementing the Huizhou architectural style. The guesthouse itself feels like an integral part of the scenic area, featuring a garden restaurant and a coffee bar where you can even pet cats. The owner is fantastic, offering luggage pickup and drop-off services right from the bus station. It's a highly recommended place to stay.

The service was absolutely 5-star. Since my main purpose was photography, I received excellent advice from resident teacher Yao on the best timing and spots. Teacher Yao, who lives on the mountaintop, is more accurate than the weather forecast when it comes to predicting sea of clouds and sunrises. We stayed on the mountain for two days, and the forecast was for heavy rain or downpours. However, during the few brief clear intervals, we witnessed the spectacular 'Monkey Gazing at the Sea' sunrise, the vastness of the West Sea's sea of clouds, and the majestic panorama from Bright Summit.

This is my second time staying at this hotel, purely because of its location. For its spot, the amenities still offer great value for money. However, this time I booked a king room and was given one facing the street. My much-anticipated holiday, a relaxing mountain escape in southern Anhui, was ruined by a night of noise. I understand that the Yellow Mountain entrance/exit sees a lot of traffic, but the reality is I didn't sleep a wink. I'd suggest upgrading the windows on the street-facing side to high-standard, soundproof ones – it would make a real difference. The breakfast selection also seemed a bit limited. Overall though, it's still consistently good and remains one of the top-tier options in this town. These are my honest thoughts, hope they're helpful.

Before checking into Banyan Tree Huangshan, my expectations were really high, but I ended up quite disappointed. Let me start with the positives: 1. The breakfast was delicious with a good variety of options, quite decent for a star-rated hotel. The fresh juices were squeezed on demand, and the fruit quality was excellent. Most importantly, the staff were very efficient at clearing tables and setting up, so there was never any waiting for a seat, everyone could get seated promptly. 2. The service throughout our stay was fantastic. Everyone was very attentive and patiently listened to guest feedback and suggestions, making adjustments proactively. The downsides, however, were quite noticeable: 1. The hardware is terrible and doesn't match the price point at all. The air conditioning in the room was very noisy and just barely passable. The bathroom was particularly bad; I've never encountered such poor bathroom facilities, especially not in a five-star hotel. The shower pressure was very weak, and so was the water flow from the bathtub faucet. The toilet height was incredibly uncomfortable; even for someone of my 175cm height, it was awkward to use. Plus, the quality was poor, and due to the bad glaze, flushing was a hassle. The central air conditioning in the lobby was practically useless. Walking into the hotel lobby, it felt only a few degrees cooler than outside. We didn't want to spend any time in the public areas; with outdoor temperatures at 37 degrees Celsius, the heat in the lobby was unbearable. 2. The hotel's main selling point is its 'getaway' style, and while the environment is indeed deep in a valley, quiet and secluded, it lacks the simple recreational facilities that would make guests want to stay. I went to the pool table three times and couldn't play because there was always a queue. Besides that, there weren't many other good leisure activities. For example, the coffee and tea area wasn't appealing because the public area AC was too high, making it uncomfortable, and the cafe environment itself didn't match the price of the hotel, falling far short of many five-star hotels in scenic areas. Although the hotel advertised iron-flower performances, they were only on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays, and we perfectly missed them during our two-day stay. In summary, the hotel's promotional pictures are very attractive, but the reality is quite different. If you're just looking for a secluded getaway, it can meet that need. For everything else, there's a lot of room for improvement.

The room was nice, the service was great. The lady boss invited us to drink tea, she has her own tea garden, we drank Taiping Houkui, it was good! We were lucky this time in Huangshan, we saw the beautiful Huangshan, my daughter and son liked it, the fish in the boss's house was very fresh, the food was refreshing, we ate at the boss's house! I will come again if I have a chance

The room was clean and tidy, and the bedding was comfortable. The staff were warm and attentive, responding promptly to our needs. They even took us to watch the sunrise and sunset, which was a really thoughtful touch. The hotel's location is convenient, making it easy to get around. The food at the hotel was also delicious and to our liking. The various activities offered (like photo shoots and tea ceremonies) were also a nice touch! The environment is beautiful, and I'll definitely choose to stay here again when I visit Huangshan next time!
