__W__Wayne🇮🇳 London's Best Michelin Two-Star Indian Restaurant: A Stunning Experience at Gymkhana
The most memorable dinner of my trip to London was definitely Gymkhana in Mayfair! I'd read online that it was incredibly difficult to book a table, and after experiencing it firsthand, I completely understand why. The interior has a retro-chic feel, with wood tones, vintage ceiling fans, and leather sofas, creating an atmosphere reminiscent of a high-end Indian club from the past—perfect for taking photos!
🍴 Food Review:
• Must-try Spices: The Tandoori here is truly amazing. The grilled meat in the photo is perfectly charred on the outside, with the juices locked inside. Paired with their signature green sauce, it's so delicious you'll want to keep eating.
• Rich and Layered Curry: Their curry is incredibly flavorful, with layers of spices that aren't uncomfortably spicy. Served with piping hot garlic naan, it's simply divine.
• Delicate Appetizer: The beautifully presented small pastry in the photo has a crunchy texture, and the filling is a delightfully sweet, sour, and spicy flavor that really whets your appetite.
💬 Practical Notes:
• Service and Atmosphere: The servers are very professional, explaining the menu in detail and offering recommendations based on your spice tolerance.
• Super Convenient Location: It's right near Green Park subway station, just a few minutes' walk away.Outstanding

The service was five stars—attentive but not intrusive. The food was generally excellent, especially the lamb chops, which were perfectly tender and rare. The butter chicken was milder, and the venison naan was delicious and rich. We also had the kasuri chicken kebabs, which were absolutely fantastic, with just the right amount of char on the outside and the meat tender and juicy on the inside.
Absolutely exceptional experience with the most incredible dishes imaginable. Akshit was our server who was very knowledgeable and helpful. A truly wonderful meal
Fantastic marsala Margarita one of the best I've ever had - went perfectly with the spicy food which was also off the chain good - lives up to London's reputation for the best Indian in the world - don't miss it
