Café de Flore

Paris is really a place for all kinds of things. If you find a cafe on the Left Bank, you will be a female intellectual. I checked in at the Flore Cafe, which was often visited by Picasso, Sartre and Premier Zhou. I walked 20,000 steps a day, which was quite fulfilling.

In the morning, I went to the 132-year-old Cafe de Flore on the Left Bank for breakfast 🇫🇷☕️☀️A coffee shop full of great and interesting souls, Hemingway wrote notes on the napkin, Picasso painted on the glass in the store, and I ate the most delicious Omelette in the world 😋🍳 Then I went to the Montparnasse Cemetery to visit Sartre, Beauvoir, Duras, and my favorite director Chris Marker, and my husband's favorite director Pialat. ​​​

Cafe de Flore is a century-old cafe, and the most recommended special jockey is Flore. The toasted crispy toast is topped with fragrant cheese, and a half-boiled egg is placed at the end. When the knife cuts through the half-boiled egg, the yolk that drips down is really a perfect match with the fragrant cheese toast.

There will be a phenomenon of sharing tables, which my friends don't like, especially not private, fortunately we don't speak the language, so it doesn't matter, but it's still a bit awkward. The coffee is average, but Napoleon is delicious, and I recommend the hot chocolate, if you have friends, you can try it. The juice is very fresh, if it is too strong, you can add some water, the ice cream is not bad. .

The name of Café de Flore comes from the ancient Roman goddess "Flore" statue in front of the door. (Please note that this Café de Flore is not a chain with the Café de Flore in Venice.) This Café de Flore now has a landmark that echoes its name: a sign and door surrounded by vines and flowers.

When served, coffee, milk, and cups are placed separately on a silver tray, creating a unique French elegance and ritual. The slightly sweet black coffee with a floral aroma leaves a lingering fragrance when drunk straight; it is rich and fragrant when poured with milk. It is difficult to describe the taste in words, but it is really like its name, Flora Coffee, as if you can really taste the feeling of flowers.
