"We had a fantastic stay at this lovely eco-hotel. The rooms are situated in charming, traditional Vietnamese-style cottages set within a gorgeous, lush garden, and the property features multiple swimming pools.
The location is practically right next to the Van Long Nature Reserve entrance, which is a huge advantage—it allowed us to take an early morning boat trip when chances of spotting the rare Delacour's langurs are highest.
Because it was raining during our stay, we decided to have dinner at the resort's restaurant, and we were so glad we did! The food was delicious with a wide variety of choices. A special shout-out to Loan, who served us with so much humor, warm hospitality, and fun, making it a truly memorable and delightful evening.
All in all, this is the absolute perfect base for visiting both Van Long Nature Reserve and Cuc Phuong National Park. Highly recommended!"

"We had a wonderful three-day stay here. The main advantage of the hotel is its superb location right by Tam Coc pier, on a secluded peninsula where you can't hear city noise. The traditional Northern Vietnamese architecture looks stunning. The amenities are excellent: a great pool, spacious and bright rooms with all the necessary comforts. The service was delightful, staff were always ready to help. A true oasis of peace and comfort!"

"This was my first business trip to Vietnam this year, and my first stop was Phu Ly in Ninh Binh province. Melia is the best hotel there. I booked a 75-square-meter suite, which was huge, and it cost less than 500 RMB, so it was excellent value for money. It's located in the city center with all amenities nearby."

"If you're looking for a place to slow down and truly experience the serenity of Ninh Binh, Bliss Tam Coc Resort is exactly that.
The resort is relatively new and beautifully nestled amongst the limestone mountains. Waking up to the sight of the peaks surrounding my balcony, even from the bathroom, was something special. The peaceful morning mist and the gentle sound of rain during an afternoon shower felt like stepping into one of those therapeutic spa soundtracks, except this was real.
Some may find the resort a little removed from the main street, but that's precisely its greatest strength. The absolute tranquillity is worth every extra minute of the journey. There are no honking scooters, no crowds, just nature and stillness.
My room was enormous, thoughtfully designed, and had everything I needed. One detail immediately caught my attention: there wasn't a television. To my pleasant surprise, the entire resort has deliberately chosen not to install TVs. When I checked out, the manager shared that this was a conscious decision to encourage guests to disconnect from the constant noise of everyday life and truly unwind. As someone who rarely turns on hotel TVs anyway, I absolutely loved this philosophy.
The service deserves special mention. Every staff member I met was genuinely warm, attentive, and eager to help. While not everyone spoke fluent English, it never became a barrier. In fact, it added to the authentic charm of the place. The team was resourceful and thoughtful. On one occasion, I had accidentally left my ”Do Not Disturb” sign on while I was out exploring. Instead of simply leaving the room untouched, they reached out to me via WhatsApp to check whether I would still like housekeeping. It's such a simple idea, but it reflects how much they care about guest comfort.
Bliss Tam Coc Resort isn't about luxury through extravagance. It's about thoughtful design, genuine hospitality, and creating a peaceful space where you can disconnect from the world and reconnect with yourself. I left feeling refreshed, rested, and already thinking about my next visit. Highly recommended."

"I have only positive impressions of the room. To start with, the balcony offers a view of beautiful mountains. The room itself is clean, though a bit dusty due to ongoing hotel construction next door (though the noise is barely noticeable). Towels are changed daily, and there is a fairly deep swimming pool. At the front desk, we immediately booked a scooter for a few days. Also, when I forgot a few things upon check-out, they notified us and returned them. Only positive emotions from this place."

"Details determine success or failure. The noise is the biggest flaw of this five-star golf hotel.
Legend Valley Hotel Ha Nham, newly opened in 2025, boasts impressive hardware: European castle-style architecture, new and fully equipped facilities, perfectly meeting five-star standards.
It's within walking distance of the newly opened Bright Park playground and adjacent to BRG's top-of-the-line double 18-hole golf course (including Twin Oaks). The food is also of high quality, making it an excellent choice for a vacation and golfing.
During the day, guests are out playing golf, so it's quite quiet. But at night, the experience completely collapses 😫
The soundproofing is absurdly bad. Footsteps in the hallway, conversations next door, and noise from the opposite room are all clearly audible. The entire floor echoes loudly. The neighbors were playing until 4 AM, making it impossible for us to sleep.
I finally managed to get some sleep in the room next door, but after only two hours, the noise from the morning cleaning, guests leaving for golf, and footsteps echoed throughout the entire floor.
This high-end golf hotel caters to a clientele of quiet, sleep-conscious, and rest-oriented individuals. After a day of golfing and leisure activities, they're already exhausted, and the inability to even get a decent night's sleep is a major disappointment.
No matter how good the environment, how new the course, or how complete the facilities, if you don't sleep well, it's all for nothing.
Minor complaint: Breakfast only ends at 9:30 AM, which is too rushed. I had to call and go upstairs to urge them to check out before noon, leaving a very bad impression.
I specifically observed that the cleaning staff speak and walk very quietly, but it sounds exceptionally loud in the room. This is clearly not a matter of guest or staff manners, but rather that the hotel hasn't done any professional soundproofing.
Hotels are strongly advised to prioritize soundproofing; for high-end vacations, quiet and restful sleep are the most essential needs."

They were extremely accommodating with a late check-out. Even after checking out, they let me take my time to get ready before my trip and provided access to an outdoor shower. They didn’t strictly enforce the standard 12:00 check-out rule, but instead truly prioritized making things convenient and comfortable for me.
A few key highlights:
• Transportation: I rented a motorbike directly through the hotel, which served me perfectly throughout my entire trip. If you choose this hotel, renting a motorbike or a bicycle is absolutely essential!

"We had an absolutely amazing stay at La Lua Resort Ninh Binh. The hotel is beautiful, very clean, and thoughtfully designed. The rooms are immaculate, very spacious, and the bed
was extremely comfortable. Overall, the room, including the decor, was perfect.
The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. They assisted us in arranging taxis to and from the resort, everything went smoothly, and the service throughout our stay was excellent.
The pool and the general environment of the hotel are also perfect – peaceful, relaxing, and very well maintained. The resort is only a few minutes from the city center, but its location is very quiet and calm, which makes it ideal for a relaxing vacation in Ninh Binh.
There are also free bicycles available, which is a great way to explore the surrounding area. In addition, there is an on-site restaurant, so you can easily have lunch and dinner at the hotel if you prefer not to go elsewhere. The food is very good and the breakfast is excellent. We had a fantastic experience and would highly recommend this hotel."

Mari MontaI booked Tam Coc Center Luxury Hotel & Villa at the last minute and was happy that they confirmed my reservation so quickly.
The location was very convenient, just a few minutes’ walk from the boat station for the Tam Coc tours, with restaurants and convenience stores nearby. Although the hotel is close to the main road, the interior area itself was surprisingly quiet. The hotel is also 15-20mins drive to Trang An.
It rained heavily during my stay and several roads around Tam Coc were flooded. Thankfully, the road directly in front of the hotel remained clear, which made pick-ups and drop-offs much easier. I saw other hotels with flooded access roads, so I would highly recommend this place if you are visiting during rainy weather.
There is also a cosy bar and coffee shop inside the hotel that serves until 10 pm. The seating area was comfortable and especially convenient on nights when the rain was too heavy to go out.
The reception and housekeeping staff, as well as the man serving at the bar in the evenings, were all very polite, friendly, and helpful. They also spoke great English. However, I had a different experience with some of the breakfast staff. I noticed that they seemed friendly and more attentive toward Western guests but mostly just stared at me. I am Asian and could possibly be mistaken for Vietnamese, so I did not expect to feel treated differently. I hope this was only an isolated experience.
The room was clean, the TV worked properly, and the air-conditioning was great. All the usual toiletries were provided, along with a hair dryer, bathrobe, and even umbrellas guests could use.
There were two other things I really disliked about my room. It was located along a brightly lit corridor, and even with the blinds closed, a lot of light still seeped into the room. If you have difficulty sleeping in a bright room, I would suggest requesting a room away from the corridor. The slippers provided were also extremely uncomfortable and actually painful to wear. The hotel should really replace them with something softer and more practical.
Despite these issues, the convenient location, clean room, quiet atmosphere, and easy access during heavy rain made it a good place to stay in Tam Coc.

A great place when you do not want to be in the chaotic tourist area. It has a beautiful view, a swimming pool (warm water though), free bicycles (15 min to Bich Dong Pagoda) and because there is no late evening food places around we just ordered Grab food 😂. Always on airco which is great for clothes drying and breakfast had this perfect Pho and many other options.

McSpicyI had a wonderful stay at this family owned homestay and it truly felt warm and welcoming from the moment I arrived.
The location might be slightly difficult to find at first, especially if it’s your first time visiting the area, but it’s actually very convenient. There are many businesses that open past midnight: food options, convenience stores, shopping spots, massage places, laundry services, and drinking places nearby.
One thing that really stood out to me was how thoughtful they were when I asked for milk during breakfast. Even though they did not have regular milk available, they still made the effort to find an alternative and served me soy milk instead. I was genuinely happy with that gesture because it showed how much they cared about catering to their guests’ needs and making them feel at home.
The breakfasts were one of the highlights of my stay. They served a traditional Vietnamese rice noodle dish one morning, and honestly, it was the best one I had during my entire stay in Vietnam. It tasted fresh, authentic, and homemade, which made the experience even more special.
Because it is a new establishment, the rooms look and felt much better in person than in the pictures online. Everything was clean, cozy, spacious, and beautifully maintained. Another great feature was that they provided electric-powered bicycles, which made it very convenient and enjoyable to explore the surrounding area.
Overall, this place exceeded my expectations in every way. The genuine hospitality from the family, the delicious homemade breakfasts, the comfortable rooms, and the thoughtful amenities made this a truly memorable experience. I would definitely recommend this homestay to anyone visiting the area.

**A Hidden Paradise in Ninh Bình**
I honestly didn't expect to find something this peaceful. Tucked between towering limestone mountains and a quiet river, this resort feels like a true 世外桃源 — a world away from everything.
The pool is one of the most beautiful I've seen: spotless, calm, and perfectly framed by palm trees and thatched-roof bungalows. Every morning I'd sit by the water with the mountains rising just behind the rooftops, and it genuinely felt like the outside world had disappeared.
What made the stay truly special, though, was the service. The staff were warm, attentive, and constantly going out of their way to make guests comfortable — from a relaxing complimentary foot soak by the river to little touches like fresh tea and local snacks served in traditional bowls on the bamboo table. Nothing felt rushed or transactional; every interaction felt genuine and kind.
The surrounding scenery is stunning — bamboo groves, a floating pavilion over the water, and mountains wrapped in mist most mornings. Sitting there with tea and watching the light change over the hills was one of my favorite moments of the entire trip.
Rooms are simple but comfortable, blending naturally into the landscape with earthy tones and thatched roofs that suit the setting perfectly. It's the kind of place where you slow down without even trying.
If you're looking for a peaceful escape with genuine hospitality, clean facilities, and gorgeous natural surroundings, I can't recommend this place enough. It's a rare find — truly a paradise hidden among the mountains and water.

Underrated location, right next to an amazing restaurant, I was upgraded when the staff saw how tired I was from travelling and they were so lovely. Great location away from noice but still so close that you’re only a 5 minute walk from the main road. The food pic is from the restraint next door

We stayed one night at this lovely homestay in Hoa Lu, near Ninh Binh, and it was perfect. The owners are so kind and caring — they don’t speak much English, but they make you feel welcome with their hearts. It was the best experience we’ve had in Vietnam.
The room was very clean and comfortable, with a nice bathroom and a view of the garden and pool. The food was amazing — we had breakfast, lunch, dinner, and even coffee in the afternoon, and everything was delicious.
We also rented a motorbike from the homestay, which was very easy. I really recommend this place if you want peace, good food, and lovely people.

Justin and MelNinh Binh Harmony Retreat, from our experience, can only equate to an oasis of calm, beauty and tranquillity. The grounds are lush and abundant with surprises at every turn.
The staff are exceptional, but that is understating their level of service and commitment. They are like Family and become friends in short time.
Chi, the manager, goes far above and beyond any level we have experienced in our many travels. Nothing is a problem and solutions are simple, including locating a lost bag in Saigon. The team who Chi guides throughout the day, are friendly, sociable and genuine and they cannot go far enough .
They anticipate any need or want before you realise and create moments and memories that you can only wish would happen in other establishments.
Chi, Hunee and Tony, along with other staff whose names we sadly did not get, are the soul and heart of Ninh Binh Harmony Retreat. Being in their presence enhanced the experience. They are a total credit to their employer and business.
The Retreat is set back off a main road, down an alley full of laughing children and families. You feel completely detached from the hustle and bustle of Tam Coc town or Hoa Loa Old Town, which are must visits. There is a wonderful pool, suitable for families, an 8 ball table, karaoke, bikes and the most incredible breakfast and coffee.
We travel extensively and felt a sincere and genuine personal experience that made us feel truly cared for. We cannot recommend choosing Ninh Binh Harmony Retreat highly enough.

Guest UserBeyond my expectations, guys. You should really try it. I've stayed at high-end hotels in Japan before, and this isn't much different. The staff are friendly, and the manager is thoughtful, enthusiastic, and professional. I hadn't even had a chance to eat the fruit yet, and when I came back from my outing, the housekeeper had already replaced it with a fresh plate! :) It's clean, and breakfast is delicious. The room I stayed in faced a busy road, so it was a bit noisy. Other than that, it's a perfect 10.

The room I stayed in was good, clean and equipped with everything I needed for a comfortable stay. The location is excellent, being close to Bai Dinh Temple and the Trang An river tour, which made exploring very convenient. The property itself is wonderfully peaceful, surrounded by nature and perfect for relaxing away from busy areas. The staff were friendly and accommodating throughout, always happy to help. There was also a very cute dog on-site, which added a lovely, homely touch. Overall, it was a pleasant and enjoyable stay that I would recommend.
