"Breakfast was decent. However, the room's cleanliness was a major concern. On the first day, I found a cockroach. I reported it to the front desk, but received no response or apology whatsoever. The shower hadn't been cleaned, as there was still hair in it. The power outlets in the room were also incredibly inconveniently placed, hidden under the vanity. I had to put the kettle on the floor just to boil water. Overall, my experience was pretty average."

"Switched from Lotte Hotel Seogwipo to Regent Marine. It was super convenient, only about a ten-minute taxi ride from the airport to the hotel. We were given a room on the top floor with a partial sea view, and it was fantastic watching planes take off and land every day with the ocean in front of us. I remember being really impressed by Ramada and Emart twelve years ago. Regent Marine is about a ten-minute walk to Emart, and across the street is Chilseong-ro Shopping Street. Downstairs, there's McDonald's, GS25, CU, and 7-Eleven, all very close by. The duty-free shop and Baojian Road are about a forty-minute bus ride away. The hotel's fried chicken delivery also came with two free drinks, and it tasted great. There were also vouchers for the coffee shop downstairs. A lot of Korean Air flight attendants stay at this hotel. I felt it was a great and convenient stay, plus there's a swimming pool, which made the kids very happy. Highly recommend!!!"

"Super, super convenient! There's a bus stop right outside, it's very close to the starting point of Route 7, and the Olle Market is also nearby. The room was quite clean and offered great value for money. It's a good choice."

"It's right behind the airport, so it only takes 10 minutes to get to the car rental return. You can hear planes taking off, but it doesn't disturb your sleep. There's also a park right in front, which was great for walks along the coastal road.
The hotel seems a bit old, but it was clean and decent. Everything was satisfactory, except for the weak water pressure. 😀"

"This hotel is excellent, and the breakfast selection is incredibly rich, just like what you'd find at a five-star hotel. The pool is also fantastic. "Located right by the coast. Around 30mins drive to jeju-si city centre. There is a bit distance between our room from the lobby but they offer golf cart for luggage transportation for those who don’t have a car. There is no elevator on the building so you have to carry your luggage to your room by yourself. (We stayed on the second floor)"

"Really nice hotel. Our room was huge ! The rooftop pool is heated and is great after a long day of exploration.
Location is good, 10min walk from the market and the waterfall.
The only thing is that we required no service and the housekeeper still came and did only one bed out of 2, the next day one of the bathrobes belt was gone which is a bit weird..
I added breakfast one mornging and it was ok. Maybe more continental options would be good (bacon, cheese,etc)

The room is spacious, but the bathroom feels outdated compared to other hotels I've stayed at, even those with lower prices. Staff speak English and were friendlier than I expected. There's a pool, but swimming isn’t really possible — mostly kids playing in the evening. I booked it to swim, so that part was disappointing."

Anonymous UserWe visited in July during the summer holidays and stayed at both Meisen Glide Hotel and the adjacent Bolton. Although Bolton was a few hundred yuan more expensive, the overall experience was better than Meisen. Firstly, the front desk service at both was good, but Bolton's front desk had the advantage of seamless Chinese communication. Secondly, the room at Meisen—the first plastic cover of the toilet had several urine stains. At first, I couldn't believe it and thought it was just the toilet yellowing from age, but when I wiped it with a wet wipe, it came right off, and it was yellow—definitely urine stains. For this price, the toilet wasn't even cleaned properly; I was truly speechless… Lastly, Meisen's room didn't have an electric mosquito repellent, and I was woken up twice by mosquitoes at night. Bolton, on the other hand, smelled lovely as soon as you entered the room.

Guest UserThe hotel was very clean. It's a shame we stayed for two nights and it was cloudy and hazy every day, so we didn't get to see the true beauty of Mount Lu. We stayed in a suite, which was perfect for a family with two kids. The beds were comfortable, and the air conditioning was surprisingly quiet, which is great for light sleepers. Perhaps due to the climate, there were a lot of small flying insects at night, but the staff were constantly cleaning them out of the pool, and the water was very clean. The Ivory Brunch downstairs was delicious, and the supermarket had plenty of options. The changing rooms by the pool were also exceptionally clean, and they even had skincare products available. Highly recommend!

Cleanliness: Spotlessly clean.
Environment: Right by the sea, with Korea's most beautiful McDonald's and a popular cafe just next door. There are also plenty of convenience stores and restaurants nearby.
Service: The owner couple provided very warm service.

My only minor gripe is the somewhat remote location, which means no delivery services are available. You'll have to rely on the convenience store at reception for any urgent necessities.

Guest UserOverall, a pretty good stay for four consecutive nights. The beach is just a 10-minute leisurely walk away. The air conditioning in the room was a bit noisy, but it didn't really bother us. The room itself was very comfortable and spacious.

Anonymous UserEven though it's an older hotel, it's very well-maintained, and the rooms are cleaned promptly. The public areas are also quite nice. The check-in staff speak Korean and Chinese, and there are also Chinese-speaking staff available to answer questions. However, nearby dining options are a bit far and require a walk. The restaurants next to Lotte aren't very good and are a bit overpriced. The bread and desserts in the lobby are also delicious; if you go too late, some items are already sold out by locals, and they're not overly sweet. The red bean and chocolate ones are great, but the cream and butter sticks are just average. Getting to the beach requires going downhill, and due to the location, most hotels nearby have the same situation where you have to go down and then climb back up. Overall, it's good. Aside from not providing disposable toiletries, it's pretty much on par with hotels in Sanya, and the room rates aren't inflated.

The first room I stayed in on the top floor was great, but the 'king-size bed' was actually two single beds pushed together. It had a balcony with a partial sea view. The second day, they moved me to a room on the second floor, which was stuffy and had worse soundproofing – I could sometimes hear street noise.
Hygiene: The most unexpected thing was finding a cockroach in the bathroom. I used a disposable towel to step on it and kill it. My friend said she also had a large cockroach in her room. I'd recommend booking a higher-floor room.
One small suggestion: For luggage storage, it would be helpful to have a tag with the room number and name on it. Most people need to store their luggage before heading to the airport, and not having a label makes one feel uneasy about others potentially taking the wrong bag.
Overall, the hotel facilities are good, including a gym and a swimming pool. Aside from the hygiene issues that need attention, everything else was decent.

The hotel environment was just okay, to be honest. We were assigned a ground-floor room, and you could walk straight out to the outside from the balcony door, which meant privacy was a bit lacking. There were tons of tour groups every day, making check-in a slow process. On our second day, nothing in the room was replenished. I'm pretty sure they only vacuumed the floor and made the bed. Nothing else was wiped down; stains on the mirror and dust on the desk were still there after housekeeping. I had to disinfect and wipe the toilet seat myself, or you'd better bring your own toilet cover, otherwise, you'll find it's dirty even after a quick wipe. Breakfast options were very limited, not much to choose from. Some staff were friendly, but others seemed annoyed by Chinese tourists. Besides being close to the theme park and water park, I generally wouldn't recommend it.

Guest UserSeamless check-in experience due to self check in kiosk. Staff was able to assist with storage of breast milk. Room was spacious with a spacious bath tub and a beautiful ocean view. However, gym was stuffy and no water filter or towels provided. So do take note. Basic gym equipments in a small room. Overall, still enjoyed my time here. If you’re a foreigner, do wait for the staff to finish checking your room before officially checking out. If you’re a local, I observed to be quite instant. So there is quite a local first, foreigners second service here. But to each its own. Just be patient and be happy.
