"I stayed two nights at the Keio Plaza Hotel on Wednesday and Thursday, then moved to the New Furano Prince Hotel on Friday, and returned to the Keio Plaza Hotel on Saturday for another stay. When I got back to Sapporo from Furano, it was already 7 PM. A young lady checked me in and asked me to fill in my address. I wrote the name of my city. She insisted on a full address, and I told her that's how I wrote it last time. She then relented and said, 'Okay.' After that, she told me that my stay didn't include breakfast for the next day. I remembered it did, but she confidently told me it wasn't included and marked 'no breakfast' on my room card. I had to ask her, 'How much is breakfast if I pay for it myself?' She said 4000 JPY, but hotel guests get a 10% discount. So, the next day I paid 3600 JPY for breakfast. After breakfast, I still felt something was off, so I carefully checked my Ctrip order again and found that breakfast was indeed included. I went to the front desk, but the young lady was no longer on duty. After explaining the situation to the staff member, he refunded my payment. When I checked out, I formally complained about that lady at the hotel front desk. I believe such incidents shouldn't happen, but I don't know if she did it on purpose. Therefore, for this stay, I only gave a three-star rating for service, because aside from that one lady, everyone else's service was quite good."

Hotel near Nakajima Park,Sapporo
Welcome to InterContinental Sapporo — an elegant retreat where Hokkaido’s natural beauty meets modern refinement. Enjoy the calm of a private residence, spacious rooms from 42 sqm, and a heated pool overlooking Nakajima Park and nearby mountains. Savor seasonal Japanese cuisine, casual French dining with local ingredients, and relaxing moments at the lounge, bar, or summer terrace with river views.

"The hotel was excellent! The room was spacious, the view was great, and everything felt brand new. The staff provided exceptional service too. We dropped off our luggage early before heading out, and when we returned to check in that evening, a staff member escorted us all the way from the ground floor to the 9th-floor lobby. Our room was already assigned when we gave our name, and our luggage was already waiting for us inside. The breakfast was also absolutely fantastic – delicious and fresh, especially the sashimi rice bowl. My 6-year-old son even got a complimentary breakfast. We also dined at their French restaurant for dinner. For three people, we ordered two full courses and a children's set meal, which only came out to 1500 RMB. The best part was that each dish was paired with a different wine, offering incredible value for money. This hotel truly offers a luxurious experience; I'll definitely stay here again on my next visit!"

"5 star view. The wow factor is at the lobby where the impressive floor to ceiling windows are clear enough to showcase Mt Yotei and the surrounding lake. The view from the room is also great. Fireworks can be seen clearly. Food wise, I say it's decent buffet fare. For the bundled price, it's pretty value for money. Maybe I was there during the off peak period, so I don't face many of the overcrowding or bad WiFi issues others do especially during peak season. The bad. I was given the very last room at the end of the corridor. There is no aircon. Towards the evening, the room was stuffy and hot. I called reception and was told that due to the season where Lake Toya area was supposedly cold, the hotel turn off Central aircon. But also thanks to the typhoon, there was a hotter than usual spell. I was advised to open my room door so that the cold air from the opened windows along the corridor can cool my room down. But no amount of cooling helped if there's no circulation. In the end, I asked for a fan. For the first time, I slept in a warm hotel room with a fan on. The pillow was also very flat. So I totally didn't get much rest. I think the hotel management need to exercise some discretion in knowing when to prioritise guests comfort over saving electricity or following protocol. Tldr: good views but bad rooms"

"Pros: 1. There's a free shuttle bus from Asahikawa Station to the hotel. It was just me and my friend on the bus, and the driver was super enthusiastic, constantly using a translator to point out the scenery along the way. 2. The buffet food was delicious. Definitely go for both breakfast and dinner; it's excellent value for money, especially since there aren't many other restaurants nearby. 3. It's super close to Shirogane Blue Pond (Biei Shirogane Aoiike), just a two-minute walk. It wasn't crowded when we went in the morning. 4. There's a Chinese-speaking staff member at the front desk, which made communication very easy. 5. There's an arcade and gashapon machines. Even though they're old, they were quite fun to play with. Cons: 1. The rooms are old, and the soundproofing is poor. I could hear the person snoring next door. 2. There aren't many hot springs baths, and the outdoor bath was very mediocre. Someone must have peed in it before, as there was a specific Chinese sign on the door saying, 'No peeing in the hot spring bath.'"

"For our trip to Noboribetsu Onsen, we chose to stay in the South Wing Family Room at Dai-ichi Takimotokan. The room was quite spacious by Japanese hotel standards, and the 'one night, two meals' experience was fantastic! During check-in, they asked for our preferred dinner time – the first seating at 5:30 PM and the second at 7:00 PM. The front desk provided dinner vouchers, which you just take to the third floor of the main building for your meal. The buffet dinner quality was pretty good; crab legs were unlimited, the salmon was nice, and there was a good selection of desserts and ice cream. The hotel's location is also excellent, with Noboribetsu Jigokudani (Hell Valley) and the Bear Park within walking distance. After checking in, we took a stroll around Hell Valley, and in the evening, we enjoyed the hotel's hot spring. The onsen has both indoor and outdoor baths and is quite large. The hot spring water had a strong sulfur smell, and our skin felt wonderfully smooth afterward. The only downside to the hotel is the early check-out time at 10 AM. Breakfast also runs until 10 AM, with the last entry at 9:30 AM, so checking out at 10 AM felt a bit rushed. Overall, though, this hotel is really great!"

The staff at Park Hyatt are incredibly attentive and thoughtful. The front desk ladies are not only beautiful but also very meticulous and considerate, especially kind and warm towards children. This time, I'd like to extend a special thanks to the hotel's reservations department for taking care of a returning guest like me by promptly upgrading our room, which made our trip incredibly comfortable and enjoyable. The hotel's ski valet is a major reason why we ski here; it saves so much effort when you're tired from skiing. Last year, I remember there were enthusiastic staff members who helped with putting on and taking off ski boots; it seems that service isn't available this year. It would be even better if it were! 😄 Thank you! 🙏

There's a free shuttle bus service from JR Station, I took the 13:00 bus and arrived at the hotel at 13:45. The staff kindly allowed me to check in early, which was really nice. They have a water park and large onsen facilities. Both the breakfast and dinner buffets were delicious; even though the variety wasn't huge, the food quality was consistently good. The Chateraise desserts and ice cream bars were especially tasty! On the day I checked in, there were Japanese, Hong Kong, *********, Korean tour groups, and even a Japanese school group. Although there were a lot of people, the hotel grounds are extensive, and the buffet items were refilled very quickly both morning and evening. The hotel has a classic feel, but everything is very well-maintained. The most traditional thing was that the air conditioning in the room was pre-set to 25 degrees Celsius, and the windows couldn't be opened. Given the current weather, it was a bit stuffy...

The hotel is built on a mountain, and trying to walk around was quite tiring. The room was spacious, but housekeeping doesn't come daily. Currently, all of Japan is embracing eco-friendliness, so most hotels only clean every two nights, and some even every three nights. Those who sign up for tours or activities will be picked up directly at the hotel. The hotel also offers a free shuttle to the Utoro Bus Center. If you miss the shuttle, I believe the hotel can also arrange a drop-off. The buffet was extensive, but eating the same things every day got a bit boring. Personally, I still prefer set meals. I tasted something sour in the chawanmushi. At first, I thought my taste buds were off, but after smelling it, I confirmed it was indeed sour and informed the staff. The public bath has several pools. The open-air hot spring bath is a bit small, but it wasn't crowded.
