Hotels With Pools in Cheshire, United Kingdom

"Stay at this hotel has a nice time. Felt quite relaxed enjoyed the out of scenery loved the bedroom. Every enquiry was answered. There was a seating area for everything and everyone there was a nice environment between guest and staff."

"I had a good stay with my girlfriend at The Tytherington. The only thing we were unhappy with was the food. It took about 1 hour to receive our food, and we were also told different information about the Kitchen closure time. Likely, we could give our order on time, but someone who was served after us was not able to. It seemed that on the day we visited, the kitchen staff was either short-staffed or had other issues. The staff behind the counter looked inexperienced, with only 1 or 2 who knew what to do, though they had too much to do already and couldn't assist. The view from their garden was great, over their golf pitch."

"**Hotel Review: Crewe Hall Hotel and Spa, Cheshire** As a solo traveler with my beloved sausage dog, Stanley, I recently had the opportunity to stay at Crewe Hall Hotel and Spa for one night. Here’s my experience: **Location:** The location of the hotel is absolutely excellent. Nestled in beautiful grounds, it provides a serene backdrop for relaxation and exploration. The picturesque setting truly enhances the overall experience. **Arrival and Service:** Unfortunately, my arrival experience was somewhat disappointing. The service upon check-in felt slow and not particularly welcoming. There was no offer of assistance with my luggage or guidance on where I could take Stanley, which left me feeling a bit lost. I expected a more hospitable reception, especially given the hotel’s reputation. **Room Quality:** On a positive note, the room was clean and well-appointed, featuring a lovely spacious bathroom that included a plush robe and complimentary toiletries such as shampoo and soap. I appreciated the mini bar, which had complimentary water, adding a nice touch to my stay. **Room Service:** One downside was the room service hours, which ended at 10 PM. I arrived at 8:15 PM and was informed of this limitation, which felt a bit early for a hotel of this caliber. It would have been nice to have more flexible dining options during my stay. **Dining:** The hotel itself is stunning, and the grounds are a joy to explore. I had breakfast at the brasserie restaurant, where the attentive staff made a significant difference. The breakfast was wonderful, with a variety of delicious options that set a positive tone for my day. **Overall Impression:** While my stay had its ups and downs, the beautiful setting and the quality of the accommodations were highlights. I hope that the service experience can be improved for future guests, as that would truly elevate the stay. I would consider returning, especially for the lovely grounds and excellent breakfast, but I would hope for a more welcoming atmosphere next time."

"This is the second time we have stayed at this hotel, and our choice was primarily due to its convenient location and excellent breakfast. It is very close to the airport and very quiet at night, surrounded by farms and grassland. We love the breakfast because it is not a typical buffet. Instead, you can choose from a menu with a great variety of options, all of which taste wonderful. The restaurant's decoration is also lovely, and you will be more than satisfied with the portions. The restaurant staff are passionate, friendly, and helpful. One point to note is that the reception area often has guests around, which is just an observation and neither positive nor negative. The receptionists always do their best and are very nice and professional. However, the room design is a bit outdated."

"I took my wife here for her 60th, amazing staff receptionist charlotte was warm and knowledgable, very kind giving us a token due to birthday. The infinity pool is amazing warm clean, Shrigley would make much more money if they served drinks while in the pool, but we would still be there now. The rooms are adiquate they are clean, the shower's are amazing, Dinning for evenning meal again was excellent, the service is 11/10 and I have been in a number of Spa the meal cost were really well priced with excellent food. Breakfast in the morning self service again pleanty to choose from and again tasty with great choice. It is a amazing spa with the ability toplay gold or have a number of treatments, and well priced, I will return there"

"We found the facilities and service excellent. Breakfast was good with a fair choice on the buffet. We had a bar meal which was a good standard, burger and fish and chips, with s good selection of drinks. We did have a problem with the room we were given due to traffic noise, being too hot and it was a disabled bathroom which meant the sink was too low for us. A big thank you to reception staff Carolin and her colleague who gladly managed to get us moved into another quieter room with aircon it was much appreciated. All the staff on reception in the bar and breakfast room were excellent. The hotel on the canalside is only a few minutes away from the city centre and many restaurants and bars."

"As a solo traveller, I was impressed with Runcorn Holiday Inn. I felt very safe. Friendly reception and cleaners, as well as helpful staff. It's in a nice, quiet location. The room was clean and comfortable, and I slept well. Breakfast has a great selection from continental to full English, besides cereals, yoghurt, fruit, toast etc I ordered a ham sandwich for supper in my room, and it was like a doorstep, very filling. There's plenty of free parking for customers too. Thank you for a pleasant stay. I would definitely return again."

"No problem with food. The location was excellent. I arrived in the morning, so I had my luggage checked in, but when I checked in, it was very quick and I already had my luggage in my room. Overall it was a satisfying stay."

"First time taking grandson to Chester with an over night stay. First impression of Hotel including location was excellent and I have only one negative from our stay which was reported to reception on checking out. There is a big problem in the hotel with bedroom doors slamming shut noisily every time someone enters or leaves a room as they have no dampening which spoilt our evening and night in our room. The rest of the hotel was excellent with a good swimming pool and restaurant. The breakfast can only be described as superb with our grandson thoroughly enjoying it. The location including the car parking was ideal for walking round Chester City Centre with a 100 yd walk to the main streets and the Levels. Overall, I would recommend the hotel for a City Break and would easily qualify for 5 stars if they could put some dampening device / closing spring on the bedroom doors."

"Was a fab stay from start to finish. Staff were very warm and welcoming , nothing was too much trouble. The bar and sitting area by reception is spacious. Rooms are roomy and very clean. Room are high quality and spa which you use with stay is Amazing. Was a lovely relaxing break and will definitely be staying again 🤗"
