"Checked in for a one-night stay on October 9th. The starry sky that night was absolutely breathtaking and totally worth the room rate! The butler reached out a day in advance and sent over the schedule of activities. Compared to the No. 7 Starry Sky and S Tent where we stayed the previous two days, Tengol is a huge step up—it has a real resort vibe, and the professional photography here yields incredible, highly photogenic shots.
The room is very spacious with a huge bed, and the first round of drinks in the minibar is complimentary. The complimentary off-road vehicle ride offers scenery just as stunning as the one inside Shapotou, saving us from the crowded tourist zones over there. The evening show was heartfelt and well worth watching; the camel ride, horses, molten iron fireworks (da tie hua), and folk songs were all fantastic. Getting to watch them up close felt like having VIP seats. The stargazing session took place right outdoors under the night sky, which was an amazing experience. The instructor was great, and we even got to see Saturn's rings through the telescope! Plus, some generous guests set off fireworks for us to enjoy every now and then, haha. There are also optional professional photoshoot packages available, which are an absolute must for souvenirs! Breakfast was also miles ahead of the previous two places—both exquisite and delicious. Finally, our butler arranged a car to take us to the airport. A perfect single-night stay—I will definitely come back for a second visit!"

Daisy checked us in, upgraded our room type, and gave us access to the executive lounge, making the experience truly fantastic.
We encountered a small issue with the room, and Daisy resolved it very quickly.
The breakfast selection was rich and varied. The executive lounge was excellent; the afternoon tea biscuits were delicious, and the dinner featured a carefully curated menu with comprehensive nutritional elements, both visually appealing and tasty.
Staff in all departments were very responsible, and housekeeping service was also great.
I would definitely recommend it to family and friends."

"The hotel offers a shuttle service from the Time and Space Gate, which was excellent. Three days before arrival, staff proactively called and added me on WeChat to check for any needs. The hotel itself is incredibly fun, mostly catering to families with children. There are various activities from morning to night, perfect for kids. The room was a bit old and small, but the outstanding service more than made up for it. Stepping outside, you're right in the desert. You can enjoy a sunrise or sunset over the desert from your balcony with a cup of tea. Each room comes with sand-digging toys and unlimited sandboards for sand-sliding. Inside the room, there's a generous supply of fruit, various drinks, yogurt, biscuits, and nuts. The food is also great, with breakfast, dinner, and even a late-night snack provided – so much so that I couldn't finish it all. I'd recommend skipping lunch, otherwise, you'll be eating too much in one day! The pool is unheated; I was the only one brave enough to swim in it (it's a semi-standard size). Make sure to visit the Stargazing Valley at night; I saw a sky full of stars like I've never seen before."

The room was clean and tidy, and the bedding was so soft and comfortable, it felt like being wrapped in a cloud. The bathroom facilities were also new, and the toiletries were of good quality. I really enjoyed the tea bags in the room; they had a lovely sweet flavor, and having a huge bathtub was a definite plus!"

"The hotel design is unique and the views are good. However, dining options are limited. The Chinese restaurant's prices are comparable to mid-to-high-end restaurants in Shanghai, so we opted to drive 20 minutes to Zhenbeibao for dinner.
The breakfast restaurant was the most disappointing. First, there weren't many options. During the National Day holiday, with a large number of guests, the service couldn't keep up at all. When we asked a waiter to clear a table left by previous guests, the waiter started clearing and then just walked away halfway through. After waiting for a long time, we called another one over. The first one claimed they thought we were still eating, so they just did a quick tidy-up and left. The most frustrating part was the staff at the noodle station, especially a female manager. Her attitude towards guests was very poor; she was extremely impatient with their questions, and several guests, including myself, were spoken to rudely. I understand that during National Day, there are a lot of people and the staff work hard, but basic politeness and a good attitude should always be maintained.
In conclusion, as the most luxurious hotel in the area, even during off-peak seasons, the prices are similar to high-end hotels in big cities. Such service truly doesn't match the hotel's caliber."

"I wholeheartedly recommend this desert hotel, it's perfect for family trips! The experience was truly outstanding.
The room was spacious and bright, spotlessly clean, and incredibly comfortable. The location is superb, right on the edge of the vast desert. In the afternoons, we could easily climb sand dunes and watch the sunset. My kids spent every day playing happily in the sand, they didn't want to leave.
After checking in, the hotel added us to an exclusive WeChat group, which made it super convenient for daily inquiries and requests. I have to specifically praise their heartwarming service: I accidentally lost my DJI Pocket 3 while out and about. I was already disheartened and about to give up, but I decided to ask in the group. To my surprise, someone had found it quickly! The staff immediately secured it and personally delivered it to me. The joy of getting it back was indescribable. Their honesty and efficiency were truly commendable, giving us a complete sense of security.
The restaurant's food exceeded our expectations; the home-style dishes were perfectly to our taste. My child specifically asked for stir-fried tomato and eggs for two consecutive days, and finished every single bite, leaving no leftovers. The hotel offers a wide range of desert activities. We tried the Bombardier ATV, and the slight sensation of weightlessness was just right – thrilling yet fun. The various desert recreational activities kept us busy and content throughout our stay.
Everything, from the environment, dining, and activities to the attentive service, was impeccable."

"This stay truly exceeded my expectations! It's a beautiful vineyard estate with lush greenery, offering a tranquil and cozy environment. You can cycle and stroll around the grounds, visit the winery, and the atmosphere is simply wonderful.
What I'm most incredibly grateful for is that around 10 PM on the night of our check-in, I suddenly felt unwell. However, my partner couldn't leave our young, sleeping child. In a moment of panic, one of the team members in the housekeeper chat proactively offered help. Even more remarkably, the manager immediately drove me to the hospital for treatment, accompanied me through all the examinations, and stayed with me until past midnight. I'm truly, incredibly grateful.
The room was clean and comfortable, with thoughtful amenities. But most importantly, the staff here are genuinely warm and helpful. The manager extended a helping hand when a guest needed it most, acting like family even though we're not. It's truly difficult to encounter such an unexpected situation when traveling, but thankfully, the manager and housekeepers were so warm and helped me through it smoothly. As a guest, I highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Helan Mountain. It was a truly warm and special accommodation experience. "I checked out yesterday at noon. I booked the hotel after seeing it advertised in a live stream. I was really interested in this new hotel, which just opened in August. Before going, I specifically checked the reviews, and they weren't great; most complaints were about the service. I decided to give it a try anyway and booked for two nights.
I understand that building a hotel in the desert is expensive, and the owner is clearly aiming for a long-term business model. However, given all the effort and investment, why is the service so lacking? The hardware facilities are actually quite decent, but the service truly falls short.
Firstly, there was no greeting from the bellhop; they just immediately asked about check-in and took my luggage. At the front desk, the staff member processed my check-in without even looking up, no smile, no tea, no candies. After we got to the room, there were flies. I contacted a staff member, and they just brought an electric fly swatter for us to deal with ourselves. My child had nosebleeds on both the first and second day, and when I asked if there was a medical room, they said no, and that I'd have to go to Zhongwei city to buy supplies. There wasn't even the most basic level of concern.
On the day of check-in, we received a fruit platter, but we hardly ate it because it was mostly apples, and the pears needed peeling. On the second day, there was no disposable toothbrush for my child, and the single-use toiletries were incredibly small, completely different from what was advertised. Overall, the experience was very poor. If the owner continues to operate like this, fewer and fewer people will visit. The breakfast was also mediocre, and I have pictures to prove it. The only thing I was most satisfied with was the hotel's design style, which is very beautiful and great for photos. It's such a shame that a hotel with such good design is let down by its service."

With the high temperatures in Suzhou and Hangzhou, this is a great escape to the heat in the northwest, featuring a lovely guesthouse village. Nan'an is the largest guesthouse complex in the area, with 40 rooms out of a total of 100. This time, we stayed at Taojiaying West House, with a swimming pool in front and a farm/ranch/ranch in the back – very pleasant. The room details were also very well done, suitable for large families or groups of friends.
Both restaurants in the village are good for breakfast: 🌻Xiangke (more variety),
🍜Lao Wang Ji Breakfast & Midnight Canteen. Special praise to Nan'an's management team, including Da Yuan and her group; they communicated with us before our arrival and were very attentive. During our stay, our drone got stuck in a tree in the yard, and the management team helped us find a solution from evening until morning, finally fixing it with a tree trunk over ten meters long.
- Climb the Great Wall (five-minute climb to the top) for panoramic views of the Yellow River and the village.
- Feeding lambs, riding camels, milking goats.
I call it the Yellow River version of ”Wuzhen Village”; the entire village has an integrated design with a Mediterranean feel, perfect for photos.

Traveler DongLocation: The hotel is conveniently located near Yinchuan Municipal Government and Ningxia Museum, making it easy to access attractions and the train station. Its prime location is a definite plus. However, the hotel entrance is situated between two buildings, and many ride-sharing drivers get misdirected to the parking lot by their navigation, making it difficult for them to pick up guests. It's advisable to factor in extra time when booking a ride.
Room: This time, I used my points to upgrade to a Mountains and Rivers View room. The facilities are pretty similar to the standard rooms, but being on a higher floor offered a nice view of the Helan Mountains. Unfortunately, the window glass was very dirty, making it impossible to take good photos. I suggest cleaning them. Also, the air inlet cover on the handle of the hairdryer in the bathroom was missing, indicating that some facilities need prompt maintenance. The TV was quite old; it couldn't cast, and both the picture and sound quality were poor.
Food: The breakfast selection was rich and varied. However, some of the English translations for certain dishes were significantly flawed and need immediate correction. For dining out, Jin Feng Wanda Plaza is nearby. Alternatively, if you turn left twice after exiting the hotel, within 50 meters, there's a restaurant called 'Bai Xing Han Can' which offers a wide variety of dishes that cater well to Southern palates.

The room environment feels comfortable, the hotel is in a good location, and the transportation is generally convenient. Duoduo at the front desk said that there is Hengdian Cinema nearby. We went to the snack street in the evening, which is not far from the hotel and can be reached in a few minutes on foot. The room is comfortable and sanitary, the front desk and room attendants are happy to provide all kinds of help, the facilities are very smart, and the price-performance ratio is good. It is the first choice for next stay.

lita1027The hotel's overall interior design is luxurious and grand, with both public areas and rooms exuding a high-end feel. The breakfast was pretty standard overall, but the mutton noodle soup with minced meat was exceptionally delicious and highly recommended.
The staff were very welcoming and helpful, and the overall service experience was quite satisfactory. However, there were two minor regrets: first, the hotel does not provide children's shampoo and shower gel, so family-friendly details could be further improved; second, the Executive Lounge Happy Hour ends at 8:00 PM, which is a bit early. We arrived at the hotel rather late that day, and by the time we got there, only a plate of cabbage, desserts, and drinks were left, with virtually no hot mains or staple foods available, which dampened the experience somewhat. Overall, the hotel's hardware and service are great, but there is still room for improvement regarding the Executive Lounge dining hours and amenities for families with children.

From the moment I checked in to subsequent room inquiries, he patiently answered all my questions, communicating gently and politely. When small issues arose, he proactively helped resolve them with quick responses and a strong sense of responsibility. The hotel overall was clean and well-equipped, and Lucky's thoughtful and meticulous service made me feel completely at home. He provides a comfortable experience for guests with his professional service and is truly an outstanding employee of the hotel. I will definitely choose to stay here again on my next trip!

The hotel boasts excellent facilities and comprehensive services. The design is highly thoughtful and practical, featuring a laundry room with a dryer, which is very convenient for families traveling with children. The breakfast buffet offers a rich variety of options, with new dishes introduced daily. A standout feature is the late-night kitchen, serving instant noodles with flavors from five different countries, prepared on the spot. We also received welcome gifts and small souvenirs. Parking is ample and free. The location is also good, making it convenient for those traveling by car.
The only minor issue was that despite booking three rooms for five consecutive nights 20 days in advance and requesting them to be on the same floor in the booking notes, upon check-in, no arrangements had been made. We were informed that we would have to pay extra to have the rooms on the same floor, which we declined. Fortunately, the front desk attendant was incredibly helpful and managed to upgrade our rooms to a premium type on the same floor, waiving the additional charge.
