"This was my first time visiting Changbaishan. While the outdoor temperature was well below freezing, the indoor environment was extremely warm and cozy. The room features plenty of wooden furniture, creating a very welcoming atmosphere. The bed was exceptionally soft, providing me with a fantastic sleeping experience. The floors were smooth and comfortable to walk on barefoot, and I didn't find any dust on surfaces I touched. The bathroom was spotless, with no neglected corners or limescale buildup. I had been in touch with the hotel butler before arriving; they provided detailed information about the opening hours of the facilities and the shuttle options for each attraction we planned to visit. As a result, our itinerary went smoothly without any hassle. The hotel has a great variety of hot spring pools. Since it wasn't crowded during our visit, we didn't have to rub shoulders with other guests and could truly relax and enjoy the hot springs. By the way, compared to five-star hotels in downtown Shanghai, the food here—both in terms of taste and value for money—was actually enjoyable and made you want to sit down and relish a meal. This is quite rare and commendable for a hotel located inside a scenic area."

"Traveling to Jilin with two kids, we chose the World Trade Markham Hotel, and overall, we were very satisfied with our stay. The hotel is right by the Songhua River, and opening the window in our high-floor room offered a magnificent river view – the kids were absolutely thrilled looking out. The room was spacious, the bedding comfortable, and they even provided children's slippers, which was a thoughtful touch. Breakfast had a rich variety of options, including many that the kids enjoyed. The heated swimming pool was the biggest surprise; after a day of sightseeing, taking the kids for a swim helped us relax and shake off the travel fatigue. The location is convenient for getting around and dining. The service was prompt and responsive. Staying here with two kids was stress-free and comfortable, making it perfect for a family trip."

"One of the highlights of my National Day trip to Changbai Mountain this year was staying at the Jinhua Hotel! During my stay, I was incredibly well taken care of by our butler, Tutu, every day. It truly felt like a home away from home. Before my arrival, Tutu held a room for me as I was arriving late and even upgraded me to an executive breakfast. On the day I checked in, they brought me some snacks, and on my birthday, they surprised me with a cake. The night before I left, I received a Proya skincare set. I was traveling alone, but it felt like I was surrounded by familiar warmth. A huge thank you again to Tutu! It's rare to find a hotel with such attentive and heartwarming staff; this alone makes it stand out from other hotels. The hotel's environment is also notably convenient and elegant. It's right next to the only snack street and entertainment area in Wanda Resort, making dining, drinking, and entertainment incredibly easy. Especially in the evening, when the ambient lights come on, it feels like stepping into a dreamy fairy tale. It's bustling yet peaceful, with unique and beautiful scenery. It's a shame that the long holiday flew by so quickly. I was truly sad to leave and plan to come back for a spring or winter holiday. I'll definitely stay here again, and I wish Butler Tutu all the best in their career and happiness every day!"

"Our stay at the Yanji Dinosaur Hot Spring Hotel was such a pleasant surprise! The family room was incredibly well-decorated and thoughtful, with a large slide right inside the room. Our child absolutely loved it and didn't want to leave. The hotel environment is also fantastic; lush and green during the day, and beautifully lit up at night. The lobby design is grand and dreamy. Being right next to Dinosaur Kingdom makes it a perfect one-stop destination for family fun and vacation. Highly recommend to all parents!"

"This is a great hot spring resort hotel, located next to Meiren Song Park, in a relatively quiet area of Erdaobaihe Town. It's not within walking distance of places like Enduli or Yunding Market, making it more suitable for a relaxing getaway. I heard it's very popular and hard to book during peak season. There are many Korean tour groups staying here, and there are also many Korean signs in the small street behind the hotel. However, I feel the hotel's zoning management is quite good, as there weren't many Koreans on our floor. The hotel stay includes hot spring tickets, but it's limited to one entry, not unlimited access. The hot springs have indoor pools on the first and second floors, and several outdoor pools on the fifth floor. The overall experience is good, but there's no food or drink service inside the hot springs, so it can't compare to bathhouses in Northeast China. The breakfast tastes good, a bit oily, but very flavorful, haha. Additionally, the hotel stay includes one complimentary send-off service, which is quite convenient."

"This is my second stay at the Hyatt Regency Changbaishan, and I'd like to thank Alisa for helping us upgrade to a room with a direct view of the ski slopes. A whole month before our check-in, she kept us updated on weather forecasts, ticket purchases, transportation tips, and even helped us book the dog-walking activity. 😀 Although the hotel is a bit older, it is very well maintained. The Hyatt boasts a prime location in the Wanda resort area—just step outside and you're right on Food Street, which is super convenient. There are plenty of activities available too. Even though the main Changbaishan scenic area was closed due to the weather, staying at the hotel for two days was far from boring. The autumn scenery at the hotel's back mountain, the birch forest, and Lake Fokulun was breathtaking. It wasn't crowded during the National Day holiday either, making for a fantastic getaway experience."

"The room was quite spacious and had three beds. Our family of three lived very comfortably. The bedding was very clean. The staff was very enthusiastic and helped solve various problems. The breakfast was delicious, especially the freshly ground coffee and noodles. The location is also good, opposite the Eurasian Shopping Center, it is very convenient to buy something."

"The pool offers a great variety of features, really making you want to jump in. However, some guests were smoking by the poolside, and they should be directed to the designated smoking areas more promptly. There weren't many hot spring pools, but they were adequate. The water pump in the ”Doctor Fish” pool was too strong, and there were very few fish. After five or six people sat down, it would take more than 3 minutes to see any fish. I suggest adjusting the pump's intensity. The various hotel-organized activities showed excellent planning, especially the beautiful fireworks display. Our butler was very professional and helpful when we needed assistance. They genuinely considered the customer's perspective rather than just mechanically processing requests, which deserves high praise! Perhaps due to the hotel being over ten years old, the facilities in my room showed some aging. I recommend regular, staggered checks of things like the sink drainage, shower water pressure, toilet flush, and electrical outlet looseness. The decor's classic, palatial style was quite appealing to my family, but the facilities shouldn't feel dilapidated. Even minor issues with key facilities can significantly impact the guest experience. The breakfast buffet was good, but there was only one coffee machine, often leading to queues. The coffee machine's water tank also needed more timely maintenance. The charging stations are a 20-minute walk from the lobby, and the superchargers incur an occupancy fee of 0.5 per minute after charging is complete. This is very inconvenient for guests with hybrid cars who need to charge. Having to walk over 30 minutes round trip for an hour of charging can easily deter guests from charging. I suggest introducing slow-charging stations. Finally, the service staff in the hot spring pools and changing rooms had a somewhat rigid attitude, which I hope will be improved."

My room was upgraded to the 43rd-floor penthouse, offering magnificent views where both sunrise and sunset were beautiful. Downstairs, there's the Peony Garden, home to historical buildings like the Shenwu Hall. This trip back to Changchun was for Jilin University's 80th anniversary. During my stay, I also visited the Museum of the Imperial Palace of Manchukuo, the Former Manchukuo Central Bank, Jilin Provincial Museum, FAW Museum, Changchun Zoological and Botanical Park, and an improv comedy show at 'This Mountain'. Stepping into the Hyatt Regency Changchun, the HYATT REGENCY illuminated sign stands quietly amidst the light and shadows of cascading metal installations. Suspended woven spherical sculptures, tethered by fine steel cables, resemble seeds nurtured by the earth, symbolizing the endless vitality of the 'black land'. On the corridor wall, the 'Source · Migration' artwork, composed of countless reddish-brown circles, depicts the migration patterns of ancient tribes, condensing the human origins of the Northeast onto the wall. The overall space primarily uses natural wood and stone, creating a warm and steady ambiance that mitigates the often cold and rigid feel of luxury hotels. High ceilings, layered lighting, and large glass windows allow natural light to pour in, bringing the clear northern sky indoors. The design avoids excessive ornamentation, instead integrating regional art into a modern minimalist design. Each artwork tells a story, making a stroll through the hotel feel like wandering through a miniature city art museum. Dining Experience: Blending Local Flavors with International Buffet The hotel's buffet restaurant was a major surprise during this trip. The interior uses wooden columns and circular chandeliers to create a warm and relaxed dining atmosphere. The layout is clear, accommodating both open seating and semi-private booths, as well as sofa areas suitable for casual gatherings. Art decorations on the walls add a lively touch. The breakfast selection is rich, featuring Western cold cuts, baked goods, and fresh fruits, while also deeply rooted in Northeastern flavors. A bowl of minced meat noodles is richly fragrant, complemented by tofu pudding, Northeastern stews, and local specialty side dishes. Fresh fruits and freshly squeezed juices provide a refreshing balance. The ingredients are consistently high quality, and the flavors are authentic and unpretentious, preserving the local culinary essence. You don't need to travel far to savor the flavors of the North within the hotel. The lobby lounge is the soul of the hotel, with gigantic cascading metal decorative columns as its visual centerpiece. Outside the floor-to-ceiling windows are lush green trees, and inside, sofas and a bar are arranged intermittently. Sitting here, one can experience Hyatt's signature refined atmosphere, finding tranquility amidst the city's hustle and bustle. Location and Travel Value The hotel is conveniently located in the core urban area of Changchun, offering easy access to historical buildings like the Eight Ministries of Manchukuo and Shenwu Hall. Just like this trip, during the day, I explored modern historical architecture, and in the evening, I returned to the Hyatt to relax in the hotel's art spaces, completing a dialogue between history and modernity. The hotel itself becomes an integral part of a Changchun city tour. Outside, Japanese palace-style historical buildings, with red gates and gray tiles, stand quietly beneath the clear blue sky; inside the hotel is a modern, light-luxury sanctuary. "After our trip from Changbai Mountain, I contacted the hotel, and Lindy and Crystal were professional, efficient, and patient throughout. We booked a family room, which was spacious. The tent, rocking horse, and other arrangements for the kids were very thoughtful, and our child had a blast as soon as we entered the room. The hotel also provided children's slippers and bathrobes, showing great attention to detail. As night fell, back at the hotel, our child also had a wonderful time at the kids' club and the pool. We'll definitely come back to Shangri-La next time we visit with our little one!"
