However, the service quality needs improvement. There was no assistance with heavy luggage upon arrival at the hotel entrance, and the staff's demeanor lacked warmth, with somewhat stiff expressions. Some room amenities, like the hairdryer and toilet, felt a bit outdated. On the positive side, the gym equipment is very well-equipped, and the pool is clean and hygienic. Overall, I recommend staying here!"

"My stay at the Anyang Wanda Realm Hotel this time had both pleasant surprises and minor disappointments. You can tell the hotel's facilities show some signs of wear and tear, and the style is a bit traditional and dated, but this didn't affect the basic comfort of use at all. What was most heartwarming was the reception service at the front desk. The staff were gentle and patient throughout, and the check-in and check-out process was very efficient. When I had questions, they gave detailed guidance, providing thoughtful and attentive service all the way through. This really offset any minor letdown from the older facilities, and overall, my stay was quite comfortable. I would definitely prioritize staying here again if I have travel plans in the future."

"On the first day of our stay, the toilet leaked, flooding the bathroom. We called, and after a staff member checked it, the engineering team promptly repaired it. The staff then re-cleaned the bathroom. At least the response was timely. However, the faucets and showerhead were not in good working order, and there was a faint stain ring inside the toilet. The hotel breakfast offered limited variety, poor presentation, and unsatisfactory taste. This was a far cry from the 78 RMB per person listed on Ctrip. I asked the restaurant cashier, and she said it was 38 RMB per person for an outsourced breakfast, indicating that the Ctrip information was misleading to consumers. Despite this, the hotel had a good flow of people, and the lobby was bustling. After all, it's an InterContinental property, so the service was still standardized, and the brand influence was evident. It's just a shame the facilities are so old."

"This hotel definitely lives up to its Ctrip ranking. I traveled with two kids and two seniors by high-speed rail. Originally, I was considering the Yinji Hotel, but I chose the InterContinental instead because Yinji is far from the city center, limited dining options, and everything requires queuing. We usually stay at Hilton Garden Inn or Atour, but this time I picked the InterContinental specifically for its seventh-floor pool. It's well-designed, clean, safe, and convenient – just bring your swim gear. If you forget your swim ring, you can rent one for 30 yuan with no time limit. One thing that Atour and similar hotels can't match is the abundance of staff, always ready to assist. As for things like air conditioning, soundproofing, and cleanliness, you can completely disregard any negative reviews. The breakfast is also quite rich, with specialty dishes, various claypot rice dishes, and desserts that are all commendable. The Roujiamo (Chinese hamburger) is delicious, and the fresh watermelon and cucumber juices were a big hit with the kids. The location is also prime, very close to the high-speed rail station; you can take a taxi directly to the north entrance. It's also not far from the Snow King headquarters. For dining, you can head to MixC City, which offers a wide variety of choices. The only downside is the lack of a self-service laundry room; clothes are charged per item for washing. So, remember to bring small packets of laundry detergent. Also, there's no clothesline in the bathroom, so you have to hang clothes on the inner railing of the window. The bar on the fifth floor has a Cuban-level singer with a great vibe – worth checking out! If your room rate includes drinks, remember to claim them. AMY at the front desk is beautiful and gentle; definitely go say hello!"

"I brought my in-laws to Luoyang and we stayed at the Marriott Hotel for three consecutive nights. The hotel's breakfast was rich and varied; I personally was able to enjoy different types of breakfast every day. The Executive Lounge staff were warm and attentive, providing detailed information and even helping our family take photos together. The hotel's partnered travel photographer was very professional; they photographed us within the hotel, chatted happily and helped me relax to naturally capture beautiful pictures, which was a lot of fun. The hotel's Chinese restaurant also provided excellent service; when ordering, they advised us based on our group size. The dishes tasted great, and the dining environment was superb. Housekeeping and the overall stay experience were excellent."

"The hotel was great! They reached out a day in advance to ask about our needs. The room had a bathtub, which was perfect for our child to enjoy a bath. They also offer a complimentary shuttle service to Sanpang. It's only a 10-minute drive from the high-speed train station. On our departure day, our train wasn't until past 3 PM, and the hotel kindly extended our check-out time for free until 2:30 PM. Thumbs up!"

"Excellent all round — superb staff, spotless room, and an ideal base by the airport A really excellent stay — Novotel delivered on every front. Breakfast was very good, the room was spotlessly clean, nicely finished and professional, and the whole setup was exactly what you'd want. The location is smart: a little outside the city centre, but wonderfully close to the airport — and there's a free airport shuttle every hour, which is absolutely perfect and makes coming and going completely effortless. Above all, the staff were superb — genuinely helpful and with good English, which made everything easy. Special mentions to Jim and to Tracy on reception, who were both brilliant and went out of their way to help; that kind of service is exactly what makes a stay memorable. My only tiny note is the desk chair, which wasn't the most comfortable for longer working sessions — a small thing in an otherwise outstanding stay. Wholeheartedly recommended, and an easy five out of five."

"The hotel's location is excellent, right next to Qingming Riverside Landscape Garden. They even have an electric shuttle service that takes you to the entrance. The overall environment is very quiet, and the rooms are clean and comfortable. The building seems to be about two stories high. The service is great; the staff and waiters are all very proactive. Dining is convenient with both Chinese and buffet options, and I personally found the food to be very tasty and suitable. What I was most satisfied with was that not a single staff member or server asked for a good review, so the reviews you see are authentic. If the room rates were a little lower, that would be my biggest personal satisfaction."

"Absolutely thrilled with my stay, five stars for sure! The hotel's location is fantastic; it's right near Pang Dong Lai, which saved a lot of travel time. The service was another huge plus, from the front desk to housekeeping, everyone was warm and attentive. They proactively helped with my luggage at check-in and patiently recommended local food and sightseeing routes. The room was clean and tidy, the bedding was comfortable, and it was very quiet at night. I'll definitely choose this hotel again next time I'm in the city and will recommend it to friends."

"I came to Xuchang specifically to visit Pang Donglai (a department store), and I was pleasantly surprised to find such a great hotel in a third-tier city. The hotel has a garden-like setting, and every detail is impressive. When checking in, the front desk lets you choose from four room fragrances. The bathrobes were surprisingly good quality, and the toiletries were from Herborist. The family rooms are thoughtfully equipped for families with children, with two large and two small non-slip slippers in the bathroom. They even provide laundry detergent and a foldable drying rack with a dust cover on the balcony. The pool water was clean, and staff were constantly wiping down the changing room benches. Slippers were stored in a sterilizing cabinet, and the showers were spacious, making it easy to bathe children. Both the breakfast and the hotel's Chinese restaurant were excellent. Breakfast offered a wide variety of dishes, including many local Henan specialties; the lamb soup was delicious, and the *hulatang* (spicy soup) had a real kick. In the Chinese restaurant's private rooms, the servers even offered auspicious greetings when pouring wine, adding a nice emotional touch to the experience."
