"After visiting Bingling Temple, we drove straight to a hotel near Zhongchuan Airport, as the airport is really far from the city. Luckily, we could still order some Lanzhou delicacies via food delivery.
The room was booked using Trip.com points, and the soundproofing was excellent. I couldn't hear any airplane or road noise at all, which allowed me to get a solid two and a half hours of deep sleep.
The service was quite friendly, but I requested a room upgrade through Trip.com and it doesn't seem like I received one.
Breakfast was decent. There weren't many hot dishes or protein options, but the beef noodles were really flavorful, especially the chili oil in them."

Don't five-star hotels offer smile service at the front desk anymore? I booked a deluxe lake view room, which offers a distant glimpse of a corner of the lake in a street-side park. It was a hundred more expensive than a standard room, but I don't really see the difference. The breakfast was quite ordinary, truly not what I'd expect from a five-star hotel."

"This stay was absolutely delightful! I was initially worried about the location being a bit out of the way, so I only booked one night. To my surprise, getting a taxi on the first night was super easy, so we extended our stay. While there aren't other guesthouses right around ours, we noticed a whole street full of guesthouses nearby, which seemed crowded and noisy. At night, lying in bed, you can hear the wind brushing against the walls, but it's not loud; it actually feels like being in harmony with nature. My husband and I also went gold panning – if you find gold coins, you can exchange them for prizes. We went enthusiastically, expecting a small sandbox like in a park, but it was a massive area!
**Mingsha Mountain View Afternoon Tea:** The chilled apricot peel tea was delicious.
**Fengmingsha Desert Restaurant - 30% off coupon for set meals:** After we landed, the butler collected our luggage and told us hotpot was ready, just waiting for us to freshen up and eat. The lamb wasn't ***** at all, and the dipping sauce was really tasty."

"Overall, I was very satisfied. My friends and I, two families in total, stayed for two nights.
Facilities: For a guesthouse, the facilities like the pool and terrace are quite complete. Although the footprint is small, it has everything you'd expect.
Cleanliness: The rooms were clean and tidy. All the amenities were from good brands, high quality, and safe to use.
Environment: Although it's in a guesthouse cluster, the environment and conditions are clearly far superior to other guesthouses nearby. It's a quiet oasis amidst the hustle and bustle, with a serene and mysterious ambiance as soon as you enter.
Service: The hotel is very close to the Mingsha Mountain scenic area. I especially want to thank the manager for the pick-up and drop-off service. Since I can't eat iodized salt, the manager personally cooked a non-iodized Chinese meal for me – egg-fried rice and stir-fried seasonal vegetables. The kids absolutely loved it.
Surprise: During our stay, the owner even hosted a music and BBQ party! Delicious food, good wine, and a live music teacher made for an incredible atmosphere!
In summary, the owner is very thoughtful and dedicated. Our stay was incredibly happy and heartwarming!"

I cannot recommend this exquisite home stay highly enough! My five-day visit was nothing short of perfection, from the moment I arrived until my warm departure.
As a female solo traveler from abroad, safety and welcome are my top priorities, and this family went above and beyond to make me feel like part of their home. My journey began with a incredibly gracious complimentary pick-up from Dunhuang airport, which immediately eased any travel fatigue.
The hospitality only blossomed from there. The host family provided me with such genuine individual attention, offering personalized advice for visiting the breathtaking Crescent Moon Lake and the awe-inspiring Mogao Grottoes. Their tips were invaluable and helped me experience these wonders to the fullest.
Now, the food! Each meal was a delight—authentic, home-cooked, and prepared fresh with so much care. It was truly delicious and gave me a real taste of local cuisine.
My room was a haven of comfort and cleanliness, kept absolutely spotless throughout my stay. A wonderful daily touch was the replenishment of complimentary beverages: refreshing peach tea, pure water, and delicious coconut water—perfect after a day of exploring the desert.
The most touching moment came upon my departure when the hosts presented me with exquisite souvenirs from the Mogao Grottoes. It was a gesture of such kindness and generosity that I will forever cherish.

The hotel room was clean and tidy, with complete facilities. There was a humidifier available if the room felt dry, and the bedding was comfortable, so I slept very well. The front desk service was warm and attentive. The location is convenient, right near the airport. I'll definitely choose to stay here again next time!

The location is excellent, 10 mins walk to Mingsha Shan and Crescent Spring, surrounded by food and costume stores with varieties. the staffs are very accommodating from the front desk to cleaning ladies. I am female solo traveller who cannot soeak Chinese. I feel safe and comfortable to stay at this hotel.

The room was not bad, upgraded to a king-size bed with a view, large space, and good overall configuration, but the toilet had a bad smell. I changed the room, and it also started to smell the next day, which was a big deduction. But I booked it mainly for the gym they cooperate with, which is really good. This is one of the best hotels I stayed at during my entire Gannan loop road trip. The hotel lobby is luxurious and grand, with ample parking, especially the underground parking garage with a height limit of 2.5 meters, which is really convenient for those driving. The receptionist was exceptionally friendly and responsive, and even upgraded my room. The room was newly decorated and fully equipped. All towels and cups were disposable and sterilized. The bedding was clean and comfortable, with attention to detail. The kettle, in particular, has a temperature-controlled spout and is a godsend for coffee lovers. The breakfast was also plentiful, and the ingredients were clearly very fresh, not only satisfying my hunger but also taking care of my emotional well-being. In short, for this price, staying at this hotel is absolutely the best value for money.

The rating is based on the premise of price.
The hotel is about 1km east of the Leitai Han Tomb. There is an underground garage and convenient parking. Next to it is the [Han Tang Tianma City]. It is not in the city center. If you want to go shopping, you need to take a taxi or drive there.
Now it is off-season, and the hotel upgrades the guest rooms. Anyway, they open some areas to concentrate guests to reduce consumption, and guests also get benefits. The price is indeed cheaper than the peak season.
The breakfast is OK. After all, it is off-season.
The hotel is also new, and there is no problem with the facilities and equipment. It is quite good.
I gave 4 points for service because at the front desk, they said that they could not find the reservation. I couldn't bear to take the money for a refund of one, so I reminded the front desk to check it out. If I called Ctrip Room at that time, someone would have to pay money. The front desk replied that the group's direct order had not been received. I think there is another possibility that ebooking missed the order. The front desk manager handled it well. He took my platform order and let us check in first, and they will deal with it. If this situation occurs in the peak season, it will be great. I will order a refund of one.
