The newly opened five-star hotel in my hometown has a great environment, especially the night view, with its beautiful fountain and light show. The room window offers a view of Sleeping Beauty Mountain. The hotel service is also excellent; they called to ask if I needed anything and helped arrange a higher floor. They even gave me a Mid-Autumn Festival gift bag with snacks and an eye mask – very thoughtful! I'm so happy that my hometown has such a wonderful hotel.

My stay at Luming Valley Hotspring Holidays B&B exceeded every expectation from the moment we drove up the hill. My husband and I stayed in the Mountainscape Terrace Mountain View Suite, which genuinely felt like a 5‑star hotel room. It was spotless, beautifully furnished, and equipped with an incredibly comfortable bed, a fully stocked mini fridge, and a breathtaking view of the surrounding mountains. The smart controls operated by “Xiao Bao” were a fun and convenient touch. We were completely blown away and honestly wished we could have stayed in the room forever. Even before our arrival, the staff communicated with us via WeChat to ensure everything went smoothly. We were able to speak with an English‑speaking staff member who took care of every detail for us—booking the hot springs, arranging breakfast, dinner, and afternoon tea, and even offering to help us get to the train station on our last day. Their attentiveness went far beyond anything we’ve experienced at other hotels. We were even given a thoughtful bag of gifts upon departure. Because the hotel is quite isolated, we ate all our meals on-site. The cuisine is Chinese, which isn’t usually my preference, but everything was delicious, freshly prepared, and presented with great care. A standout was the afternoon tea we enjoyed on our second day. We could choose to dine in our room or at the restaurant, which was perfect depending on how we felt each day. The highlight of our stay was definitely the hot springs. There are four in total, and we used the two located higher on the hill, which offered an incredible view—even on a cloudy day. The temperature was perfect, and everything was exceptionally clean. The staff assured us that each pool is drained and refilled after every use, which gave us great peace of mind. Soaking in the hot springs in the heart of winter, surrounded by Huangshan’s beautiful mountains, was an unforgettable experience. The hotel is about an hour from both Huangshanxi and Huangshanbei stations and easily reachable by car or Didi. Due to the weather, we didn’t visit the mountain scenic area, but the staff were more than willing to help us plan if we wanted to explore the surroundings. This was truly a 10/10 stay. The staff make you feel like you’re the only guests there with their warmth and attentiveness. The design and architecture are stunning, and the hotel even smells amazing. I have absolutely no complaints and would rank this among the best hotels I’ve stayed at anywhere in the world. It’s a perfect romantic getaway, and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful escape. I can’t wait to return!

A truly exceptional stay on Jiuhuashan I have stayed in many guesthouses across China, but this one stands out in a very special way. From the very first moment, the communication via WeChat was friendly, quick, and reliable – even though my Chinese is limited and the staff’s English is not extensive. Still, everything worked beautifully. Warm, patient, uncomplicated. It already gives you the feeling that you are in good hands. I stayed for two days, and throughout my entire time there, everything was perfectly organized. I was picked up right on time upon arrival – an invaluable service in a mountain area that can be a little confusing for newcomers. The guesthouse itself is extremely comfortable: warm, well-designed rooms with excellent facilities, a huge screen, electric curtains, cozy bedding, and all the small details that make travel easier. I immediately felt welcomed and well taken care of. During my stay, the staff assisted me with everything I needed, always with kindness and without any complications. When it was time to leave, they also arranged transport back to my bus at exactly the time I requested. Truly flawless service. But the most extraordinary highlight was something I did not expect at all: the free guided tour that the homestay organizes for all their guests. They drove us to the starting point, and then we spent the day walking through the misty mountain paths, visiting nine of the most important temples on Jiuhuashan. It was magical – quiet, mysterious, deeply atmospheric. Our guide took wonderful care of everyone, explained so much about the temples, the mountain, the history, and the spirit of Dizang Bodhisattva, and created a sense of depth that went far beyond sightseeing. This was not a tourist activity. It was a spiritual and cultural experience – something you can only receive from people who truly love their mountain and want to share it with others. In the fog, among ancient stones, incense smoke, and the sound of footsteps on wet leaves, one begins to understand why Jiuhuashan has been a sacred place for centuries. My conclusion: This homestay offers not only comfort, warmth, and excellent service, but also a genuine connection to the spiritual heart of Jiuhuashan. I can recommend Tanxiangyuan Homestay without any hesitation. For pilgrims, travelers, lovers of nature, or anyone seeking a meaningful experience, this place is simply perfect. I am grateful for every moment I spent there.

I chose to stay at The Langham Hefei for Eric Chou's concert, and my experience exceeded expectations. Mindy, a staff member, arranged the room perfectly in advance, and the front desk even gave me concert merchandise, making my check-in very pleasant. The hotel is super close to the concert venue, about a 5-minute walk, and I could even hear Eric Chou's concert rehearsal from the hotel – it was so exciting! After the concert, returning to the hotel, they thoughtfully prepared ginger tea to ward off the evening chill, showing incredible attention to detail and warmth. The room was comfortable and quiet, the location was convenient for getting around, and the service was attentive throughout. Such thoughtfulness made me feel incredibly warm, and they even helped arrange a late check-out! 👍 I'll definitely choose to stay here again next time I come to Hefei for a concert!

Choosing Shanyu Guesthouse for our hiking trip to Mount Huangshan was the absolute right decision! The environment is exceptionally comfortable and quiet, with lush green views everywhere that instantly relieve stress. The room was impeccably clean, and the bed was so comfortable—just what we needed to properly unwind after a full day of hiking. The owner and staff are super nice and enthusiastic, and they even offered shuttle services to and from the South Gate of Mount Huangshan, which saved us so much hassle. The home-cooked dishes prepared by the auntie were fantastic, using local ingredients. When you have free time, you can just sit down, sip some tea, and experience the slow-paced life in the mountains. Unlike big, rigid hotels, we felt completely at ease here. Whenever we had a question, the hosts patiently explained hiking tips and precautions. Overall, it was a thoroughly satisfying experience with great value for money. Anyone looking to relax and hike in Mount Huangshan can book here with absolute confidence. I'll definitely stay here again next time I visit Mount Huangshan!

A Little Gem in Huangshan, with Hospitality We Will Never Forget The Bamboo Hotel was one of the most wonderful surprises of our trip. From the very first moment, we found a warm, elegant, and beautifully designed atmosphere, with every detail carefully thought out. It is a true little gem, a charming design hotel where everything reflects taste, care, and attention. But what truly makes this place special are the people. The owner and his entire family are incredibly kind and genuine people. From the moment we arrived, we felt welcomed, looked after, and truly cared for. Their sincere hospitality made our stay even more memorable. They helped us from the very beginning, arranging a driver for us, carefully explaining how to organize our excursion to Huangshan Mountain, and even suggesting what we could do the following day. The owner’s father was so kind that he personally accompanied us to the bus station so we could reach the mountain. Every evening there was always a thoughtful gesture waiting for us: a drink offered after dinner, a coffee, a friendly conversation, and above all, the feeling of being guests of a family rather than simply customers of a hotel. We had a truly wonderful stay and will never forget the hospitality we received. This is a place we wholeheartedly recommend, and we sincerely hope to return one day.

An experience that exceeded expectations. The hotel environment is great, and for the price, I'm very satisfied. It's a few hundred meters from the South Gate, with supermarkets nearby, making shopping very convenient. The hotel service was a pleasant surprise; they arrange car transfers for going up and down Huangshan, and also provide detailed climbing tips. Coming down the mountain, I got caught in heavy rain, feeling tired and cold. I ordered food to my room, which saved me the hassle of going out to eat. Tourist attractions around Huangshan are quite far apart, but the front desk staff helped arrange carpooling with a driver, which was much cheaper than taking a taxi.

I recently stayed at the InterContinental Hefei and had an excellent experience. It is currently one of the best hotels in Hefei in terms of overall quality and service. Location The hotel sits right by Swan Lake in the government district. The lake and city skyline views from the rooms are stunning, especially at night. It’s directly opposite Yintai in77, so shopping and dining are very convenient. The high-speed railway south station is only about 15 minutes away by car. Service This is where the hotel really shines. The staff are consistently warm, professional, and proactive. The concierge helped with luggage and doors, and the guest relations team reached out in advance, offered a room upgrade, and stayed responsive throughout the stay. Small requests were handled quickly and thoughtfully. The service level feels genuinely attentive. Room The room was spacious, clean, and well-maintained. The bed was very comfortable and the soundproofing was good. My lake-view room had large windows with a beautiful outlook. The bathroom is generous in size and includes a bathtub — a nice touch for relaxing after a day out. Welcome fruit and drinks were provided upon arrival. Breakfast Breakfast is a clear highlight. The selection is wide (both Chinese and Western options, including some local Anhui specialties), the quality is high, and the food is fresh. It’s one of the best hotel breakfasts I’ve had in Hefei. Facilities The indoor pool is clean and temperature-controlled, with pleasant views. The gym is well-equipped. Overall facilities match the five-star standard. In summary, the combination of excellent location, outstanding service, comfortable rooms, and strong breakfast makes this hotel a top choice in Hefei. I would happily stay here again and recommend it for both business and leisure travelers.

This is my second time staying at this hotel, purely because of its location. For its spot, the amenities still offer great value for money. However, this time I booked a king room and was given one facing the street. My much-anticipated holiday, a relaxing mountain escape in southern Anhui, was ruined by a night of noise. I understand that the Yellow Mountain entrance/exit sees a lot of traffic, but the reality is I didn't sleep a wink. I'd suggest upgrading the windows on the street-facing side to high-standard, soundproof ones – it would make a real difference. The breakfast selection also seemed a bit limited. Overall though, it's still consistently good and remains one of the top-tier options in this town. These are my honest thoughts, hope they're helpful.

Banyan Tree Huangshan 💚 For my dad's birthday, the hotel prepared a delicious strawberry mousse cake! We couldn't finish it because the portions were so generous 😋. There are three peacocks 🦚🦚🦚 in the courtyard (they are super smart and will come right up to you for food), and the scenery from the balcony is picturesque (the sunset was absolutely stunning) ❤❤❤. The entire hotel is filled with the Banyan Tree's special essential oil scent, and there's an essential oil diffuser in the room too. During check-in, the butler offered Huangshan Maofeng tea and special pastries and then introduced the hotel's evening ceremonies: 'A Night of Fish and Dragon Dance' and 'Intangible Cultural Heritage Iron Flower Display' ✨. Even though I've seen them many times on TV, the shock of seeing them in person is still indescribable!!! We also received evening gifts: a small Banyan Tree turtle doll and cookies. Since it was a birthday celebration, the Baiyun Restaurant reserved a central scenic table with breathtaking views. The hotel's signature dishes — Huizhou Maofu Tofu, Huizhou Smelly Mandarin Fish, and Huizhou Daobanxiang — were all incredibly delicious and perfect with rice! 😋😋😋 The important thing is that they weren't spicy at all! I feel like this is probably the best hotel in Huangshan City at this price point! Finally, a shout-out to our butler, Amy!
