"I had a wonderful short stay,. Clean room aircon was cool and very modern room. Awesome outdoor pool and spa plenty of onsite amenities. "The hotel service was excellent, and the location was good. The breakfast offered a decent variety of choices. The hotel manager even followed up afterward to ask about our stay, which was a nice touch. Although the facilities are a bit older overall, the hotel still felt very welcoming and the bedding was comfortable. Opening the balcony door revealed a large grassy area and the pool. Highly recommend!"

"Very central to everything in Darwin City which was fantastic. Walking distance to shopping, restaurants, sightseeing and for being picked up for tours. The pool and restaurant at Vitina studios were very good. Service from staff was attentive, accommodating and very friendly.
The room we stayed in was a little less accommodating with more of a bargain basement feel and poor quality The shower had no exhaust fan or room to put or unpack your personal/hygiene needs. TV needs updating, could not get half the network stations, not smart, could not not mirror from phone or connect to watch movie apps/Netflix etc. If you don't mind these issues with the room, it is a great area to stay"

"The hotel was nice, but what really stood out was the lovely staff, especially the lady who handled our check-in. We were having trouble contacting our car rental company and she was incredibly helpful, letting us use the phone to get it sorted.
The room itself was nice and spacious, and we appreciated having a kettle provided. The main downside was that the rooms were poorly soundproofed; we could clearly hear our neighbors and their children. Also, it was a bit disappointing that the instant coffee provided in the room was mostly decaf. Overall, a pleasant stay made better by the great service."

We're located in the main accommodation centre of Alice Springs on the banks of the Todd River, close to town, Lasseters Casino - Alice Springs entertainment hot spot, the Convention Centre and the Alice Springs Golf Club is our backyard.
Some of the best restaurants in Alice Springs are within meters of the Desert Palms. These include the Golf Course Club House, Hanumans (Indian/Thai), The Deck Eatery & Bar at the Double Tree by Hilton and four restaurants at Lasseters Casino including the Juicy Rump.
We offer a small kiosk/shop on-site where food items and liquor can be purchased along with a Espresso Coffee Machine. There is a guest laundry, BBQ area, secure gated off street parking directly outside each villa and FREE Wifi in rooms and throughout the property.
Desert Palms Alice Springs offers a calm, peaceful environment, which creates a sense of relief for the weary traveller. After a hectic day of travelling by road or air take pleasure in watching the world go by on the privacy of your own private balcony surrounded by palm trees while watching the spectacular sunsets over the MacDonald Ranges.

I stayed 4 nights before heading to Uluru area and another night on my return. Unfortunately, both rooms were not clean. In fact, the crumpled pillows suggested the pillow cases had not been changed. In the first room, there were ***** hairs in the sheets and the kitchen and bathroom surfaces were also not properly cleaned. In the second room, which smellt strongly of disinfectant, while the sheets and pillow cases appeared freshly changed, the duvet/bedspread/quilt had evidently not been washed/cleaned for a while and many hairs fell out of it onto the sheets when it was folded back. Yuck! The rooms could do with refurbishing.
I found it a bot odd that despite the many signs advising guests to lock doors and hide valuables - and that the hotel could not be responsible for thefts - the outside sliding screen door of each unit could not be locked from the outside (I confirmed this with reception).
If you can overlook the cleanliness issues, this hotel is a convenient base to explore Alice Springs and the West Macs."

Anonymous UserWhile the facilities aren't new, the cleanliness was impeccable, and I appreciated having a separate toilet and shower. The only amenity provided was hand soap, so I brought everything else I needed. With a restaurant and a KIOSK on-site, finding good food was never an issue. You can also use the cooking space to self-cater if you bring your own ingredients and equipment; I saw many guests who had driven there doing just that.
And above all, the observation deck here is uncrowded and highly recommended! We didn't have great weather during our optional tour and missed the sunrise, so the next day we woke up early, went to this observation deck, and were rewarded with a beautiful blue sky view of Uluru.
Since Uluru trips primarily involve sunrise/sunset tours and trekking, and you won't be spending much time in your room, I highly recommend this hotel for anyone looking to save on accommodation costs.🤗

KaajalWe had a wonderful stay at this hotel! The facilities were excellent, the rooms were clean and comfortable, and the location was perfect for exploring the area. The staff were friendly and made us feel very welcome throughout our stay. We truly loved every moment and had a fantastic experience. We will definitely be booking this hotel again in the future. Highly recommended!

Good service! Mervin is friendly and helpful. We were lucky to be there after rain. Green grasses on the Larapinta Trail / West McDonald National Park.
The $15 parking per day at hostel is limited but convenient.

Haiou204I didn't have high expectations for this hotel, but it exceeded them. The facilities, room size, service, and cleanliness were all satisfactory. The parking was especially convenient, with spaces available nearby. The photos were taken from a viewpoint near the hotel, which is just a 10-minute walk away!

しん★I stayed here for 2 nights during my trip to Uluru. This hotel is located within Ayers Rock Resort, close to the resort's shops and supermarket. The airport shuttle and tour buses pick you up and drop you off first right outside the hotel entrance. There's also a cafe and restaurant in the hotel where I got to try kangaroo meat. There were free activities both inside and next to the hotel, so I never got bored even outside of the Uluru tours. There are several lookout points within walking distance where you can get a beautiful view of Uluru. Thank you!

Celine SiiAfter driving all the way from Uluru and Kings Canyon to Alice Springs, we found this town to be relatively well-equipped with diverse amenities. There's a wide selection of supermarkets and restaurants, making it an excellent spot for resupplying during a long road trip and a crucial rest stop. This hotel was clean and hygienic, with large windows offering sky views. Our triple room had plenty of space to move around, making for a comfortable stay. Plus, it's super convenient with supermarkets and eateries just a 5-minute walk away.
