Pet friendly Hotels in Grand Est, France

The hotel is conveniently located next to the Reims train station, but reaching it was more challenging than expected. You need to exit the station through a specific platform exit that’s not easy to find, as there is little to no signage. We took the wrong exit, which added an extra 15 minutes to our walk to the hotel. Upon arrival, we were quite surprised by the reception—or rather, the lack of a traditional one. It consists of just a small coffee table with a single computer, where one staff member manages both check-ins and check-outs while constantly running back and forth to assist guests. Initially, I thought this was just a secondary station and that a more formal reception area existed elsewhere, but that wasn't the case. I couldn’t understand how one staff member could handle all the guests with such limited resources, especially during busy periods. I suspect it could easily become chaotic during peak hours. The room itself was quite small, and breakfast was not included in the rate. However, the hotel had an interesting offer: if we opted not to have housekeeping during our stay, they provided two complimentary glasses of champagne. We were happy with this arrangement, as we usually prefer not to have anyone enter our room during a short stay. We did enjoy our two glasses of champagne at the bar after dinner, which was a nice touch. That said, with no breakfast included, there might be better value options available in the area. It's also worth noting that finding a place for breakfast near the hotel wasn’t easy, with limited options within a 5-minute walk.

The hygiene is OK, and the bed in the room is quite comfortable. The design of the bathroom is a bit strange, but it is no problem to use it. The room is a little small, but the space design is quite reasonable, so it is not a problem to spread out the suitcases. The good thing is that the club has a relatively large business area and lounge area, and you can go in at any time to have some drinks, coffee, and snacks. There are few types, but it is better than nothing~ The nearby parking lot needs to walk for six or seven minutes. The hotel has a preferential price. You need to ask the hotel for a coupon before checking out

The hotel ”la bourse” is very conveniently situated, some 4 minutes on foot from the main station and even closer to the city center with it's bars and shops. Although the center is still a little bit away, it's too loud, to sleep with the the window open. The house and the rooms are in a likeable, past-decades-style and - for example - a big reproduction of an 19th-century picture of a local factory in the room is a very nice alternative to the standard-modern-”art” so many hotels display. Sadly the whole house seems a little bit worn off and especially the breakfast room is quite inconvenient. Not five, but six or seven stars should be granted for the concierge service. The head of reception is an example of style and dignity and treats his customers with great formality and respect. Especially those, who have a traditional sense of good behavior, will probably enjoy the acquaintance and likewise the stay.

Room was spacious, good and clean. The only thing was that the reception hours need to be communicated properly. We arrived at least half hour before the stated closing hours but already no one there. As we booked through trip.com, we didn’t receive the instructions to the safe where they dropped all the keys for « late » guests. But obviously we weren’t even late as mentioned, we arrived before the reception closing hours. Thankfully we met a gentleman who had the safe’s access code and we were able to retrieve our room keys

The room had a chic, modern design while still feeling cozy. Location was very convenient too, easy walk to Petite France, the cathedral and most main attractions. Also it just opposite to the Strasbourg station, which made moving around very easy. Clean, comfortable and good for our two nights in Strasbourg.

I usually don’t write reviews but this time I do want to! I spent 3 lovely days in this beautiful house, absolutely loved every minute of it! The host Philippe is a very kind, sincere and warm person, I felt at home! The room and common area were very clean and well decorated. Thank you again Philippe for the hospitality, I’ll definitely come back again during summer.

Perfect stay! The hotel boasts a strategic location, just a 4-minute walk from the historic center, with convenient public parking right across the street. The rooms are modern and meticulously maintained, featuring excellent mattresses and high-quality linen bedding that truly makes a difference. The bathrooms are spacious and spotlessly clean. We also really enjoyed the various outdoor spaces, perfect for relaxing. A special shout-out to the guy at the front desk, he was simply fantastic and incredibly helpful. And let's not forget the breakfast: absolutely fabulous! Highly recommended.

The tram and bus stop were close by, so the access was good. I didn't eat breakfast, but there was a bakery nearby, so it was easy to buy. There is an elevator in the hotel, but when you enter the hotel from outside the hotel, there are about 10 steps, so you have to carry your suitcase up.

Nice and comfortable stay. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable, and the hotel was a good choice for a short stopover.

The hotel is located in a small town near Strasbourg, about a half-hour drive from the city center. Because it was during the Thanksgiving Christmas market, the hotel price doubled. However, at the usual price, I think the hotel's environment and service would be acceptable. My room had a full set of kitchenware, so I could cook my own meals, making it a good choice for family trips. There are also old historical buildings and museums nearby, which are worth visiting if you have time.
