"I really enjoyed my stay at the Manli Hotel in Shanghai. From the moment I arrived, the atmosphere felt calm, comfortable, and welcoming. The rooms are beautifully designed, stylish, and absolutely squeaky clean — you can really feel the attention to detail and care put into the space.
The staff truly made the experience special. The receptionists, Xiao Yang and Mia, were exceptionally kind, professional, and helpful, always greeting me with a smile and making sure everything went smoothly during my stay. I was also very grateful for the late check-out, which was kindly arranged for me and made my departure much more relaxed and comfortable.
The hotel overall has a very soothing and pleasant vibe, making it easy to feel at home. While the breakfast could be improved a bit — especially in terms of vegetarian options — and the gym isn’t in the best condition, these were minor points compared to the overall quality of the stay.
Thanks to the excellent service, comfortable atmosphere, and beautiful rooms, I would happily stay at Manli Hotel again and would definitely recommend it to others looking for a calm and well-maintained place to stay in Shanghai."

"I was so pleased with my short trip at the Jiahong Hotel! I usually don't write reviews, but this time I just had to praise it! The hotel's airport and subway shuttle services were incredibly flexible and super convenient; they even helped with my luggage up to the room. Most importantly, the location is fantastic. It's a direct 20-30 minute subway ride to Nanjing Road and the Bund – Shanghai's subway system is so straightforward, truly living up to its 'Magic City' nickname. The newly popular Panlong Tiandi, near the hotel, also didn't disappoint; the scenery there is beautiful, and it was lovely to stroll around and try different foods. I had a great time without getting tired, I even impress myself! 🌸 I also happened to catch the hotel restaurant's event and got to sample some complimentary desserts."

Traveling to the hotel is easy with Shanghai Pudong International Airport located approximately 7km away and Xinzhuang Railway Station roughly 53km away. When guests have some time on their hands they can make use of the onsite facilities. For those driving themselves, parking is provided on site. According to our guests, this hotel provides a very high level of service. Perfect for those working on the move, this hotel caters to a large number of business guests.
"This was my second stay here, primarily for an early morning international flight from Pudong the next day.
**Facilities:** While I booked a Ramada, I actually stayed at a different hotel. The front desk staff claimed it was better than a standard Ramada, but I can't confirm that.
**Cleanliness:** It was decent, nothing exceptional.
**Environment:** I arrived very late and left very early. They offer a free shuttle service, which was great, and they even provided a complimentary breakfast. Overall, I was quite satisfied.
**Service:** Everyone was pretty enthusiastic.
**Pudong Airport Shuttle:** They have regular shuttle buses, some even running every 20 minutes.
**Parking:** Free parking for four days, I believe."

Riverdale Residence Xintiandi is an absolute delight. It’s the perfect blend of convenience and tranquility. Its location is unbeatable: just a short walk to major attractions like Xintiandi, Huaihai Road, and the French Concession, yet tucked away from noisy boulevards, making it feel like a peaceful retreat.
The executive studio was spacious, modern, and impeccably clean! I loved the well-equipped kitchenette (great for light meals) and the in-room washing machine, which made longer stays effortless. The AC was a lifesaver in Shanghai’s heat, and I appreciated the strict no-smoking policy (no lingering smells anywhere!🤩).
What truly stood out was the thoughtful layout, smart storage, a comfortable workspace, and a nice bathroom. Housekeeping was consistent and thorough, and the staff were helpful without being intrusive.
Final verdict? I’d happily stay here again and would recommend it to anyone looking for a central yet serene home base in Shanghai. 10/10!"

"This hotel is perfect for family trips with kids! It has a 1.5-meter tatami bed, so I don't have to worry about my little one falling off the bed while sleeping! I really love Atour's pillows; they're super comfortable. The toilet and shower are separate, and there's even a shelf in the shower area to put clothes, which is a very thoughtful detail! Downstairs there's a shopping mall, making dining and shopping very convenient. The subway is also only about 200 meters away. Overall, everything is pretty good!"

"There are a lot of food places, especially near the hotel: a coffee shop, minimart, 24-hour beef noodle place, and two supermarkets I could see. The hotel is foreigner-friendly, and the staff are friendly. The room is a good size and had free English movies to watch. There was no smoke smell in the lobby or room, which is a plus here in Shanghai. In the room, there was a kitchenette, a medium-sized refrigerator, a coffee machine, and a laundry machine with laundry detergent. My only complaint is the smell from the laundry machine. While drying my clothes, there was a foul, old water smell from the machine. I was worried my clothes would smell, but they did not. Hubby thinks it might be coming from the vent from old water deposits, and that may be common for a washer and dryer in one unit."

"I had such a pleasant stay at the Intercontinental Serviced Apartments. Andrew checked me in, and he was incredible throughout my entire stay. He helped call taxis whenever I was heading out and catered to all my requests — his customer service was truly top-tier.
Danny was also amazing and provided exceptional service. Honestly, the entire staff was wonderful, from the butlers to housekeeping — everyone was so kind and professional.
The apartment itself had everything I needed, including a washing machine. The rooms were spotless, and the location was perfect. I genuinely have nothing negative to say about this property. It was a 20/10 experience, and I cannot wait to be back!"

We drove there ourselves, and they even have an EV charging station right outside. The pool is perfect for photos, and the service was excellent – they were always ready to help with anything we needed."

LLingmuxiThis time, I went on vacation to Chongming with a few friends and chose the Colorful Garden Terrace room at Dasu Holiday Villa (Chongming Dongtan Wetland Park)! It was truly amazing! I had to share it with everyone!
- Ambience: The spacious and bright space immediately puts you in a good mood. The decor is simple yet warm, with every detail perfectly thought out. The furniture is strategically arranged, creating a comfortable, non-crowded feel. But the most captivating aspect is the Colorful Garden. It's large and beautifully decorated, with a charming pavilion where you can soak up the sun, breathe in the fresh air, enjoy tea, and barbecue with friends. It's a truly relaxing experience. The garden is filled with a vibrant variety of flowers, creating a vibrant atmosphere that feels like living here year-round. In this picturesque setting, I felt completely relaxed, both physically and mentally. And this place is pet-friendly! Really pet-friendly! Our four dogs had a blast running around in the grass, chasing each other as if all our worries were forgotten.
- Facilities: The room was fully equipped with everything, from the comfortable beds to the complete appliances. The hotel's thoughtful care was evident. Of course, my biggest favorite was the complete set of tableware and cookware, ensuring families with children could enjoy healthy meals during their stay! The beds were soft and comfortable, ensuring a good night's sleep. The bathroom was spotless and the toiletries were high-quality. The room also featured smart technology, including a smart toilet, which was incredibly convenient and comfortable (haha). The large garden terrace has a dedicated barbecue, perfect for hosting a barbecue party with friends. The hotel also offers free parking and high-speed Wi-Fi, ensuring worry-free transportation and internet access. Another point worth mentioning: Although the hotel is a villa, I was particularly pleased that there was only one parking space in the front yard, but it was enough for two SUVs! This was a very satisfying aspect for us.
- Service: From the warm welcome at check-in to the prompt response to all my requests throughout my stay, I felt right at home. The staff were friendly and attentive, going above and beyond to recommend nearby attractions and help with minor issues. Their professionalism and enthusiasm really enriched our vacation.
- Nearby attractions: The villa is located near the Dongtan Wetland Park, a migratory bird sanctuary, where you can admire a variety of rare birds and experience the wonders of nature. A bicycle park and an ecological park are also nearby, perfect for those who enjoy outdoor activities. Basketball enthusiasts can also enjoy the Yao Ming training base. The Smart Island Park and the Lanhai Golf Course are also nearby, catering to diverse leisure and entertainment needs.
This stay at Dasu Hotel was a near-perfect experience. 💯 The pups had a blast playing with their best friends all day! The environment, facilities, and service are all impeccable. I highly recommend it to everyone. Definitely visit if you have the chance!

YYiwang_jiushiguang’’The room design was really unique, with lots of Mickey elements. The courtyard also had a beautiful carousel and swings, and on the first floor, there was an indoor play area and a cat house. The rooms were all very spacious and well-equipped. We booked a room with a bathtub, and the owner thoughtfully provided bath bombs, disposable tub liners, and toilet seat covers.
The hotel provided a complete set of amenities, and the owner's service was incredibly attentive and thoughtful. Worried that we, coming from the north, wouldn't be used to the lack of heating in the south, they waited up for us no matter how late we returned and would pre-warm our room with the air conditioning. Every day, they prepared breakfast for us and would confirm our daily itinerary in advance, helping us arrange routes and shuttle services and offering travel advice.
The owner also had stroller rentals available, which is an absolute must-have if you're going to Disneyland, and the price was affordable. They even provided a cozy blanket, so warm that our child had no trouble sleeping in the stroller. I must mention that the owner also offers one-on-one park butler service, which is an incredible value and a must-book! The service absolutely exceeded expectations; we didn't push the stroller once the entire time, and except for when our child specifically needed us, the owner was helping to look after them. We had a fully immersive childhood experience ourselves! Plus, hiring the owner as a butler comes with some incredible hidden benefits; it felt like they were practically losing money on the service.
We initially only booked one night and then moved to a resort hotel within the park for a luxury experience. After that, we decisively returned to the owner's place for another two nights. The owner truly provides the most sincere service, ensuring guests have an amazing experience. We will definitely choose to stay here again next time we visit Disneyland.
On a side note: the owner's little daughter is the same age as my son and is absolutely adorable. She'd gently say, 'Aunty, hug me.' It just melted my heart.

Initially I wasn’t too sure as this is a new hotel with not too many reviews, but I am glad I gave it a chance.
I stayed here for five nights as I was in town visiting some friends. It was easy to get to from Pudong Airport - around a 40 minute taxi/didi. The area is great: lots of restaurants and malls within walking distance yet still quiet. There’s a Luckin Coffee and Family Mart convenience store just a few min walk away. Subway is also nearby, maybe a 10 minute walk to closest station.
The room itself is great: new, clean, comfortable. As it is a service apartment style, you have a big fridge and a kitchen area with a sink and an induction stove. There was also a couch, table, desk, and TV. Very comfortable for a solo traveler like me.
The amenities are plentiful. I didn’t get to try the gym and breakfast but both looked good. Super convenient to ask for additional items like water through WeChat and they send it up via a robot. I also ordered a ton of stuff off Taobao, and it’s very convenient to have a package locker and rack right next to the hotel. Remember to include your room number if you are ordering anything — it will make finding packages much easier.
All the staff were very friendly. I even had them help with me a Taobao return. The security personnel greet you by the door, which is a nice touch.
1000% would stay here again the next time I am in Shanghai. Thank you for your hospitality!

AAnonymous UserMy child has rhinitis and can't stay in carpeted rooms, so we chose the Executive View Room here, and the non-carpeted floor perfectly met our needs. The room temperature was very comfortable after turning on the air conditioning; it no longer felt cold and damp. The hotel breakfast was very rich and included healthy options, catering to the different needs of our whole family. Even those who need to control oil and salt intake had suitable food choices without any trouble. In the morning, when some family members didn't have time to eat, the hotel even offered to pack breakfast for them, which was a very thoughtful service.

MMaina WWas a comfortable stay I really liked the room . The room was clean and the hallways were clean and smelled good , did not have that smoke stench that is in most hotels . The elevator doesn’t get to the 6th floor so you have to carry your luggage one floor up but otherwise good stay . The hotel is at an intersection so it might get a little loud but otherwise was a great stay and I would come back again

There are 3 rooms (+ one room next to the kitchen), and the living room is spacious and has a large dining table, so it's good to gather and eat.
The view is great, so you can enjoy the night view without going to the Bund.
The bathroom may be a little unfamiliar, but it's clean and nice.
There's a steam iron, washing machine, and dryer.
I had a good time in a clean and well-located place.

MM523865****I chose this hotel for my international layover, and it was my first time staying here. It exceeded my expectations, even though the shuttle car was a bit old and worn, haha! But they genuinely offer the service, and it's punctual and convenient, so no harm done. The front desk lady even upgraded my room for free and called me the day before my first flight to confirm the pick-up service. The bed was really soft and comfortable (picture attached). Although it might cost around 200 for a one-night stay, I think it was well worth the money. I had considered just spending the night at the airport, but I decided against it, haha. Oh, by the way, I've already booked this hotel again for my return flight tonight! #tonightstay

For my recent trip to Disneyland, I chose to stay at the nearby Daoche Garden Hotel, and I must say, it truly enhanced the whole experience!
The hotel's architectural style is incredibly distinctive. Its Huizhou-style exterior, combined with meticulously designed landscaping, makes you feel as if you've stepped away from the city's hustle and into a tranquil, pastoral world the moment you arrive. The courtyard is expansive, filled with lush greenery, and features a small swimming pool and relaxation areas. In the evenings, with the ambient lighting, the atmosphere is absolutely enchanting and perfect for photos 📸.
The rooms feature a minimalist Nordic design, spacious and bright. Floor-to-ceiling windows bring the outside greenery indoors, offering fantastic natural light ☀️. The bedding is soft and skin-friendly, ensuring a wonderfully restful sleep. The bathrooms have separate wet and dry areas, and the toiletries are of good quality – attention to detail is spot on. Some room types even come with a giant projection screen and a large bathtub. After a tiring day, coming back to the room for a relaxing bath and a movie is pure bliss.
What impressed me most was the hotel's complimentary shuttle service to Disneyland. It's just over a 10-minute drive, and they have fixed daily schedules; you just need to book in advance with the front desk – incredibly convenient! The drivers are also very friendly and even shared some useful tips for visiting Disneyland on the way.
Although the hotel is located in a village, ordering takeout is incredibly convenient, with a wide variety of cuisines available for delivery. If you want to explore, there are also some small supermarkets and convenience stores nearby where you can buy snacks and daily necessities.
Overall, Daoche Garden Hotel offers excellent value for money. Its environment, service, and location are all outstanding, and I highly recommend it to anyone planning a trip to Disneyland!

The room is clean and everything works. But a bit old.
Room is serviced every 2 days which is good for an apartment.
The approach to the room is not that nice as the carpet in the corridor is not in good shape.

There was plenty of room for everyone to feel comfortable, and the layout was practical and well-designed. One of the things I appreciated most was the natural lighting. The class ceiling allowed the room to be filled with sunshine during the day, creating a bright and cheerful atmosphere. The apartment was also fully equipped with everything we needed — from kitchen utensils and dining essentials to clean linens and toiletries. This made our stay very convenient. The host was attentive and helpful, providing us with clear instructions and useful local recommendations. Communication was smooth, and we felt very well taken care of. The location was excellent — close to transportation, shops, and restaurants, which made it easy for us to explore Shanghai. Despite being in the city, the apartment was quiet at night, ensuring a good rest for the whole family. Overall, this homestay was spacious, bright, and well-equipped, offering great value for a family trip. We truly enjoyed our stay and would happily come back again.
