"What a trendy and clean hotel. Reception and restaurant staff are helpful and friendly. A very welcoming atmosphere.
They provided light refreshment, free souvenirs and fresh rosemary even when we arrived at 3am. We were hungry and the sweet reception helped us to order and send it via the hotels robot.
The pick up from airport is punctual. Kudos to this hotel. Will stay again next time."

"I was really satisfied with my stay at this hotel! It's completely non-smoking, so the air is super fresh, which is great for non-smokers and made my stay very comfortable. They also offer airport shuttle service, so I didn't have to worry about transportation to and from the airport, which was incredibly convenient. Everyone, from the front desk staff to the service personnel, was incredibly warm and friendly, speaking politely and having a great attitude. They were quick to respond to any requests, and the service was excellent overall. My stay was both comfortable and stress-free. I'll definitely choose this place again next time!"

"I came to Shanghai for a book signing event this weekend. There are so many hotels in Shanghai that it's overwhelming! I saw that The Langham had a good location and high ratings, and remembering my excellent stay at The Langham in Hong Kong last time, I decisively booked here~
The service was truly exceptional. The day before my arrival, they even called to ask about my check-in time and any other requests~
Upon arrival, I discovered it's near Xintiandi, and there's a Harry Winston right downstairs~ The location is just perfect~
The manager, Sicily, added me on WeChat for easy contact~ I didn't expect it to be such a huge help! I encountered a small, unexpected situation and decided to ask her for assistance. Even though she had already gone home for the day, she quickly helped resolve it remotely~
Additionally, I specifically came for a book signing event, and before attending, I learned that phones weren't allowed, only photos. So I asked Sicily if the hotel had a printer~ Later, when I returned to my room, the color-printed photos were perfectly laid out on my table. If it weren't for Sicily, I might have missed this opportunity – it was truly amazing~
This is the first time I've written such a long review because I'm genuinely so happy~"

"This hotel is perfect for family trips with kids! It has a 1.5-meter tatami bed, so I don't have to worry about my little one falling off the bed while sleeping! I really love Atour's pillows; they're super comfortable. The toilet and shower are separate, and there's even a shelf in the shower area to put clothes, which is a very thoughtful detail! Downstairs there's a shopping mall, making dining and shopping very convenient. The subway is also only about 200 meters away. Overall, everything is pretty good!"

"The pickup driver was really enthusiastic, proactively helping with our luggage. The front desk staff was also great, especially Shane Zuo, who provided excellent service and was always responsive to our requests. This is an older, established hotel, and the infrastructure is still well-maintained, though you can see a bit of its history. The Chinese restaurant was decent, and the buffet breakfast offered a wide variety, satisfying most people's preferences.
The only thing I think needs improvement is the air conditioning temperature. Our room was 29 degrees Celsius, which was a bit too warm; 22-24 degrees would be much better. The hotel's location is a definite advantage, being very close to the airport. There's a 24-hour bus service running between T1, T2, and the hotel, making it a great choice for airport transfers."

Riverdale Residence Xintiandi is an absolute delight. It’s the perfect blend of convenience and tranquility. Its location is unbeatable: just a short walk to major attractions like Xintiandi, Huaihai Road, and the French Concession, yet tucked away from noisy boulevards, making it feel like a peaceful retreat.
The executive studio was spacious, modern, and impeccably clean! I loved the well-equipped kitchenette (great for light meals) and the in-room washing machine, which made longer stays effortless. The AC was a lifesaver in Shanghai’s heat, and I appreciated the strict no-smoking policy (no lingering smells anywhere!🤩).
What truly stood out was the thoughtful layout, smart storage, a comfortable workspace, and a nice bathroom. Housekeeping was consistent and thorough, and the staff were helpful without being intrusive.
Final verdict? I’d happily stay here again and would recommend it to anyone looking for a central yet serene home base in Shanghai. 10/10!"

"Right next to the subway, very convenient and easy to find. The main entrance is very unique, and the lobby exterior is beautifully Chinese-themed. The room was also quite spacious and comfortable, and the shower had excellent water pressure. If you need anything, there's even a robot to deliver it. The only downside is the sound insulation; I could hear chairs being dragged and things being knocked over in the middle of the night."

"A very pleasant stay! We originally requested two connecting suites, but upon arrival, we were informed that none were available. The front desk staff were extremely helpful and friendly, arranging two suites across the hall and even offering a complimentary upgrade. It truly showed their professionalism and care. My parents were very happy with the comfortable environment and enjoyed a relaxing and pleasant trip in Shanghai.
The facilities were also excellent — the 24-hour self-service laundry room and gym make it convenient for all kinds of travelers. Overall, the service was attentive and thoughtful, and we would definitely choose to stay here again.

"I stayed at this hotel for one night during a business trip and overall had a smooth experience.
The price is very reasonable, and the hotel itself is fairly ok. They also gave me an upgrade when I checked in, but I can’t say how that room was different to the one that I booked. The rooms and breakfast were both okay — nothing outstanding, but perfectly fine for a short stay.
One of the highlights is the convenient location, with many dinner options nearby, which was great for our needs.
I appreciated the welcome cookie, although it was quite hard and crumbly — a nice gesture, but not very tasty.
One small inconvenience was that I couldn’t get a Chinese invoice (fapiao) directly at the hotel; instead, they told me to request it through the booking app, which I found a bit unusual.
Despite these minor issues, it was an easy and pleasant stay. I would definitely consider staying here again if I need a hotel in this area at this price point."

LLingmuxiThis time, I went on vacation to Chongming with a few friends and chose the Colorful Garden Terrace room at Dasu Holiday Villa (Chongming Dongtan Wetland Park)! It was truly amazing! I had to share it with everyone!
- Ambience: The spacious and bright space immediately puts you in a good mood. The decor is simple yet warm, with every detail perfectly thought out. The furniture is strategically arranged, creating a comfortable, non-crowded feel. But the most captivating aspect is the Colorful Garden. It's large and beautifully decorated, with a charming pavilion where you can soak up the sun, breathe in the fresh air, enjoy tea, and barbecue with friends. It's a truly relaxing experience. The garden is filled with a vibrant variety of flowers, creating a vibrant atmosphere that feels like living here year-round. In this picturesque setting, I felt completely relaxed, both physically and mentally. And this place is pet-friendly! Really pet-friendly! Our four dogs had a blast running around in the grass, chasing each other as if all our worries were forgotten.
- Facilities: The room was fully equipped with everything, from the comfortable beds to the complete appliances. The hotel's thoughtful care was evident. Of course, my biggest favorite was the complete set of tableware and cookware, ensuring families with children could enjoy healthy meals during their stay! The beds were soft and comfortable, ensuring a good night's sleep. The bathroom was spotless and the toiletries were high-quality. The room also featured smart technology, including a smart toilet, which was incredibly convenient and comfortable (haha). The large garden terrace has a dedicated barbecue, perfect for hosting a barbecue party with friends. The hotel also offers free parking and high-speed Wi-Fi, ensuring worry-free transportation and internet access. Another point worth mentioning: Although the hotel is a villa, I was particularly pleased that there was only one parking space in the front yard, but it was enough for two SUVs! This was a very satisfying aspect for us.
- Service: From the warm welcome at check-in to the prompt response to all my requests throughout my stay, I felt right at home. The staff were friendly and attentive, going above and beyond to recommend nearby attractions and help with minor issues. Their professionalism and enthusiasm really enriched our vacation.
- Nearby attractions: The villa is located near the Dongtan Wetland Park, a migratory bird sanctuary, where you can admire a variety of rare birds and experience the wonders of nature. A bicycle park and an ecological park are also nearby, perfect for those who enjoy outdoor activities. Basketball enthusiasts can also enjoy the Yao Ming training base. The Smart Island Park and the Lanhai Golf Course are also nearby, catering to diverse leisure and entertainment needs.
This stay at Dasu Hotel was a near-perfect experience. 💯 The pups had a blast playing with their best friends all day! The environment, facilities, and service are all impeccable. I highly recommend it to everyone. Definitely visit if you have the chance!

YYiwang_jiushiguang’’The room design was really unique, with lots of Mickey elements. The courtyard also had a beautiful carousel and swings, and on the first floor, there was an indoor play area and a cat house. The rooms were all very spacious and well-equipped. We booked a room with a bathtub, and the owner thoughtfully provided bath bombs, disposable tub liners, and toilet seat covers.
The hotel provided a complete set of amenities, and the owner's service was incredibly attentive and thoughtful. Worried that we, coming from the north, wouldn't be used to the lack of heating in the south, they waited up for us no matter how late we returned and would pre-warm our room with the air conditioning. Every day, they prepared breakfast for us and would confirm our daily itinerary in advance, helping us arrange routes and shuttle services and offering travel advice.
The owner also had stroller rentals available, which is an absolute must-have if you're going to Disneyland, and the price was affordable. They even provided a cozy blanket, so warm that our child had no trouble sleeping in the stroller. I must mention that the owner also offers one-on-one park butler service, which is an incredible value and a must-book! The service absolutely exceeded expectations; we didn't push the stroller once the entire time, and except for when our child specifically needed us, the owner was helping to look after them. We had a fully immersive childhood experience ourselves! Plus, hiring the owner as a butler comes with some incredible hidden benefits; it felt like they were practically losing money on the service.
We initially only booked one night and then moved to a resort hotel within the park for a luxury experience. After that, we decisively returned to the owner's place for another two nights. The owner truly provides the most sincere service, ensuring guests have an amazing experience. We will definitely choose to stay here again next time we visit Disneyland.
On a side note: the owner's little daughter is the same age as my son and is absolutely adorable. She'd gently say, 'Aunty, hug me.' It just melted my heart.

Initially I wasn’t too sure as this is a new hotel with not too many reviews, but I am glad I gave it a chance.
I stayed here for five nights as I was in town visiting some friends. It was easy to get to from Pudong Airport - around a 40 minute taxi/didi. The area is great: lots of restaurants and malls within walking distance yet still quiet. There’s a Luckin Coffee and Family Mart convenience store just a few min walk away. Subway is also nearby, maybe a 10 minute walk to closest station.
The room itself is great: new, clean, comfortable. As it is a service apartment style, you have a big fridge and a kitchen area with a sink and an induction stove. There was also a couch, table, desk, and TV. Very comfortable for a solo traveler like me.
The amenities are plentiful. I didn’t get to try the gym and breakfast but both looked good. Super convenient to ask for additional items like water through WeChat and they send it up via a robot. I also ordered a ton of stuff off Taobao, and it’s very convenient to have a package locker and rack right next to the hotel. Remember to include your room number if you are ordering anything — it will make finding packages much easier.
All the staff were very friendly. I even had them help with me a Taobao return. The security personnel greet you by the door, which is a nice touch.
1000% would stay here again the next time I am in Shanghai. Thank you for your hospitality!

MMaina WWas a comfortable stay I really liked the room . The room was clean and the hallways were clean and smelled good , did not have that smoke stench that is in most hotels . The elevator doesn’t get to the 6th floor so you have to carry your luggage one floor up but otherwise good stay . The hotel is at an intersection so it might get a little loud but otherwise was a great stay and I would come back again

MM53275****We booked a last-minute family trip, got our flight tickets the day before, and headed to Shanghai the next day.
Among the many hotels ranked online, we chose Lu'an. They offer airport shuttle and Disneyland shuttle services, which made transportation convenient and hassle-free. The hotel is located between Shanghai Disneyland and Shanghai Wild Animal Park, about 5-6 km from each, a 20-minute drive, making it convenient to go anywhere. Plus, the hotel's prices are affordable. If you're not set on staying at a Disneyland-affiliated hotel, Lu'an is definitely a great option (even the taxi driver praised Lu'an on the way, saying it looks like a proper hotel in the area).
The hotel's dining service was indeed excellent. Seeing guests with both old and young, the staff, including Su Zhiqing, Aunt Gong, Teacher Zhang, and the lovely lady who served us dinner, showed genuine care every day. They were very attentive, even proactively arranging a quiet table for us at dinner to make eating more comfortable.
We booked a family room on the first floor. It had good natural light and was pretty much as pictured. The room was spacious, perfect for the kids to play, and it was easy to get to the playground on the basement floor. Because of the cold snap, Teacher Gao Jidong even proactively helped us turn on the heating, which was incredibly thoughtful.
The airport shuttle driver was also very considerate. He called us in advance to remind us, fearing we'd miss our flight (Pudong Airport is huge!), and following his directions, from security check to boarding, we didn't take a single wrong turn.
I hope the hotel and its staff continue to improve. We'll definitely stay at Lu'an again on our next visit!

The rooms are spacious, well-equipped, clean, tidy, quiet, and comfortable, with attentive service and good value for money. The only downside is that, due to its duplex structure, the floor can feel a bit shaky when people walk around.

For my recent trip to Disneyland, I chose to stay at the nearby Daoche Garden Hotel, and I must say, it truly enhanced the whole experience!
The hotel's architectural style is incredibly distinctive. Its Huizhou-style exterior, combined with meticulously designed landscaping, makes you feel as if you've stepped away from the city's hustle and into a tranquil, pastoral world the moment you arrive. The courtyard is expansive, filled with lush greenery, and features a small swimming pool and relaxation areas. In the evenings, with the ambient lighting, the atmosphere is absolutely enchanting and perfect for photos 📸.
The rooms feature a minimalist Nordic design, spacious and bright. Floor-to-ceiling windows bring the outside greenery indoors, offering fantastic natural light ☀️. The bedding is soft and skin-friendly, ensuring a wonderfully restful sleep. The bathrooms have separate wet and dry areas, and the toiletries are of good quality – attention to detail is spot on. Some room types even come with a giant projection screen and a large bathtub. After a tiring day, coming back to the room for a relaxing bath and a movie is pure bliss.
What impressed me most was the hotel's complimentary shuttle service to Disneyland. It's just over a 10-minute drive, and they have fixed daily schedules; you just need to book in advance with the front desk – incredibly convenient! The drivers are also very friendly and even shared some useful tips for visiting Disneyland on the way.
Although the hotel is located in a village, ordering takeout is incredibly convenient, with a wide variety of cuisines available for delivery. If you want to explore, there are also some small supermarkets and convenience stores nearby where you can buy snacks and daily necessities.
Overall, Daoche Garden Hotel offers excellent value for money. Its environment, service, and location are all outstanding, and I highly recommend it to anyone planning a trip to Disneyland!

GGuest UserI chose this hotel for my international layover, and it was my first time staying here. It exceeded my expectations, even though the shuttle car was a bit old and worn, haha! But they genuinely offer the service, and it's punctual and convenient, so no harm done. The front desk lady even upgraded my room for free and called me the day before my first flight to confirm the pick-up service. The bed was really soft and comfortable (picture attached). Although it might cost around 200 for a one-night stay, I think it was well worth the money. I had considered just spending the night at the airport, but I decided against it, haha. Oh, by the way, I've already booked this hotel again for my return flight tonight! #tonightstay
