Pet friendly Hotels in Hainan, China

The hotel is situated in a very touristy area. Many Russian-speaking tourists. There is a mall by the hotel and a food court area across the street, the beach is within walking distance. The room was clean it came with basic amenities, I would take an extension lead to charge multiple devices. The elevators are very slow and if you want to relax by the pool and find a place to sit you need to go early as the seats get taken fast. The gym area has enough equipment to get the job done. Check-in and check-out were very fast, we had no problems. If you cannot speak Chinese they will translate. There were a few rude entitled tourists. Be courteous and respectful to the workers and people trying to help, and make an effort to use their language either via a translation app or learn a few words. You will see the instant appreciation and respect for trying. If you go to the front of the pineapple and walk left for about 5/10min you can find some Western restaurants called the Dolphin, Little India and an Italian place. If you want coffee early in the morning there is a Starbucks on that same road that opens at 7:00 am. Overall it was a good stay for a business trip with no issues.

I would like to start with disadvantages: 1. The pool was closed to renovation the whole time I stayed (9 days). As a compensation they gave me 100 RMB voucher for restaurant. So basically just one sandwich. 2. They forbid swimming in the sea. I choose this hotel exactly for the private beach. But why do I need beach if I cannot swim there. The baywatcher always yelled at me even if I went to the sea to the level of my hips. It was very disappointing. Now to the advantages: 1. The hotel gave me english-speaking manager Sanjita, very nice girl who helped me with any issues I had. I am very thankful to her. 2. The location is perfect for me, very far away from noisy and crowded places. The next bus stop is a beautiful park ”At the world's end”. Note that there are plenty of activities! So you can go back there regularly. 3. Cool breakfast with anything you can imagine. 4. The hotel provided me two gifts: one is a round trip to Duty Free Mall (NOTE: the prices are not duty free! There is a plenty of shops, but the prices are average or higher than in any other Mall). And the second one is a ”free photoshoot”, and yes, it is free if you choose only 5 photos. BUT! They retouch ALL of your photos. And suggest you to keep only 5 for free. Otherwise it's 80 RMB per photo. 5. The Meituan delivery is automated, you don't need to search for your delivery guy - they send you a code for the delivery locker and you pick up your delivery any time. 6. Very clean, very lovely room and inner territory. Very friendly stuff.

TLDR: Had really high expectations when I booked this 5 diamond hotel, however the stay experience fell short from the expectations. The Good: + Was offered room upgrade to sea view room during checked in. + Interior and exterior design of the hotel is really sets a relaxing tone to the entire stay. + It was a nice touch having Bellboys to help us with luggage and open doors whenever we arrive at the hotel lobby + Staffs and cleaners greeted us was also a nice touch + Breakfast options are extensive (including fresh juice bar and daily special juice concoction) + Free hotel activities to do daily + Gym is well maintained and a good number of machines The Bad - (Presales) Didn’t appreciate the fact that the booking page didn’t state the hotel deposit amount (which is slightly more than 1 time the hotel room price) and was only mentioned during check-in. Prior the trip, I tried to ask about whether there’s any hotel deposit via Trip.com message to hotel function and there’s no reply at all. (I mean a 3 diamond star hotel I stayed previous replied… but a 5 diamond star hotel didn’t). - (Not controllable) Sadly, there’s construction going on and can see cranes and construction machinery hindering the view of the sea, as well as the noises. - There’s supposedly a butler assigned to each guest, but my butler only added me on WeChat several hours after checkin. Also, was asking the butler about one of the afternoon hotel was still going on as we reached the venue and there’s no one around. He said he will check and then no reply for 20mins before I messaged him to inform that we won’t be waiting anymore. Didn’t appreciate that there’s no follow up. - The shower control knob will suddenly fall off at certain angle which can be rather dangerous given that it has quite a weight to it. - The bathtub’s shower head keeps leaking when we turned the other tap on to fill the bathtub, and we had to put the shower head into the bathtub to prevent flooding. All in all, it fell short on expectations in terms of the service compared to the service my partner and I had experienced in a 3 diamond star hotel at a fraction of this hotel’s price. Nonetheless, it is really a gorgeous place to stay in. Tastefully decorated and smell really great. Most of the staffs are friendly.

The room is very clean. You can see the sea when you open the balcony door ~ It's very close to the beach! ! The water in the independent swimming pool is also cleaned and renewed by staff. There are people setting off fireworks at the beach every day at night. It's very romantic! You can watch the sunset and fireworks by lying in the swimming pool of your own room! The children love it very much! The staff is very enthusiastic! They can actively help solve any problems encountered in the middle! The hotel is very close to Tianya Haijiao and Nanhai Guanyin! You can see the scenic spot from the room! I will continue to stay here next time❤️

This is a great hotel if you need to be close to the airport. Staff are friendly and helpful. You can even hire a scooter from them for the day. Sound insulation: The noise from the planes flying over head doesn't bother one. However, sound does carry if people talk loudly from other rooms and the reception area. The room is clean and has beautiful decor. Just something to note: The bathroom is an all in one (shower and toilet).

From the entrance to the lobby to the room, you can see that the owner has decorated it very carefully. It is very beautiful. The location is a bit remote. It is a few minutes drive from the duty-free shop to the village. There is a parking space at the door.

I booked a twin room, and the price was a pleasant surprise. The room was clean and hygienic, and the toilet was heated and flushed with foot-feeling, which was a good experience. Staff was very nice, although the level of english was close to 0 for most of employee at the reception, except big boss Mr Huang. But I repeat, all the staff was very nice and very helpful. The hotel asks for a 500RMB deposit ; when you leave the hotel, you must wait the « room check » to be sure that you didn’t drink a coke, a sprite, ate a tiny bag of chips or break anything. On these aspects, a cheap 120rmb/night hostel has better service than this five star hotel. Otherwise the location is very nice, the private hot spring is very nice. Chinese restaurant is very good. A great thank to the very nice and helpful staff.

We stayed in sea view suite, it was very spacious and convenient. Location was 5 minute walk to beach and 5-10 minute walk to Summer mall which I went for Starbucks and Foreign supermarket. View of room was exactly like the picture in the adverti*****t. Friendly and helpful host. Price was reasonable for the place like this. I went to pool only once, it was clean, there was no other person swimming. Kitchen, washing machine, fridge was very helpful for 7 day stay. Highly recommended.

Pro: entire vila with 4 rooms. A lot of spaces for the price. Room services and delivery is very good, 5 stars there. The space is clean. Security is good as well. Con: the slap doors are in not good condition and hard to close/ open but it’s not a big deal since there is no need to open anyway. The swimming pool is useless. Overall, I would recommend this place, especially for family.

The B&B is in a village. Outside vehicles cannot enter the village. You can make an appointment with the front desk in advance for a shuttle bus. It is very close to Wuzhizhou Island, about 5 minutes away, and it is very convenient to go to the island. There is also a beach next to it, and there is an Internet celebrity coffee shop (same owner, you can get a free cocktail with the room card). In addition, the food in the village is not bad, but the price is a bit expensive.

This is an amazingly cool flat and an awesome (probably billion dollar) luxury building complex, the room we booked was on the d block which is the furthest away so that means from the view from the flat there's nothing else in front. The cheaper room is maybe on the 5th or the 6th floor, which is quite cool, but for a small upgrade fee we were able to get to the 21st floor which was dramatically high and impressive choosing the sunrise side with the view back onto Sanya town or the sunset side with a review away onto the sea. bed was very comfortable bathroom shower and everything is great. little Phoenix Island is a pretty cool way to get the seats on an air experience away from the busy traffic yet quite close from the rest of Sanya town with an excellent little shuttle system that takes to and from the island in a breeze so you don't have to walk it which is maybe just a 10-15 minute walk. then once back off the island there are plenty of restaurants and shopping to be done some of which are open 24 hours and very tasty. downstairs is also a drink vending machine and an ice cream vending machine using app pay. we didn't try all the main activities such as jet skis and helicopters we heard whizzing around the island and which we are sure should be a lot of fun. overall this was an absolutely fantastic choice and excellent value for money thanks so much to the friendly staff!!

We had a very pleasant 3 nights stayed at V8plus Huanzhi Hotel Haikou Qilou Laojie Branch. We have received excellent supports and services from your staff, from the reception, housekeeping and breakfast services. They were polite and very helpful. A sufficient good breakfast spread. We thank you for the free cold packed drinks given to us when we return to the hotel after a hot day out. At night after 10pm, super the green beans soup and free used of washer and dryer for laundry. This is one of the best modern hotel with excellent service we've ever stayed so far. We would like to specially commend one of your staff Mr Li from the reception service, who has so kindly help us without hesitation to book 2 car transfer to the MeiLan International Airport using his personal mobile app a day before our departure. On our day of departure 20th April from 7.45am (even though he official starts work at 9am), Mr Li went extra miles communicated with us and the drivers through WeChat to ensure our smooth pick up at the hotel to the airport. The modern smart facilities in the room is good but it would be more helpful and effective if there are English languages translation in an app or on written leaflet to services foreigner and or english speaking senior citizen travellers above age 60 like us. We would highly recommend this hotel to any travellers visiting HaiKou, best location, modern facilities, well kept and staff services are excellent.

The room was clean and tidy! The service attitude is very good. It's very close to the West Bus Station. The transportation is very convenient! I love living here the most! A new single quilt cover! The price is affordable!

I couldn't find the place downstairs, so I contacted the staff. They kindly arranged for an aunt to pick me up and send me to the room. The sea view room is really nice. You can see the sunrise🌅. In the evening, you can go out through the side door at the back to the beach. You can see parents and children taking their children to catch crabs and small conches🐚, and you can also see the sunset🌇

The price/performance ratio is good. The 10-person room on the second floor has good lighting and a small balcony. The air conditioner is turned on at 20:30 in the evening, and the sleep is comfortable. The air conditioner is turned off in the morning, and it is stuffy when the window is opened. It would be cooler if there is a small fan for ventilation. The facilities need maintenance. It is better to thoroughly repair the sewer pipes on the roof of the second floor. There will still be sewer overflows when there is a lot of water.

Room: clean and tidy, good size. Accommodation: There is a heated pool outside, very comfortable Service: Awesome, the front desk staff has to be responsible for explaining Yanoda to contact the pick-up and drop-off vehicle, plus WeChat to communicate at any time, reducing unnecessary troubles in travel, and the attitude is particularly good. 知道茶溪谷這個景點還是因為朋友推薦的旅遊年卡。景點裏就衹有這一家住宿，首先要誇的是前台的一個姐姐。她很熱情給予我很多的幫助！其次就是員工餐廳的老闆和他媳婦。飯菜做的好好吃，平時吃很少的小朋友門都能吃一大碗！酒店綠化率還是蠻高的。最後再説一下房間衞生！提前説明瞭要仔細打掃結果入住時衞生狀況非常的不滿意！希望能改進。這個景點適合團隊和自駕的朋友去。唔～如果打車去的朋友要備好小零食喲
