First time in Chongzuo, and I picked a fantastic B&B. The view of the mountains from the window was breathtaking and so refreshing! We traveled with a child, and they even provided a baby safety rail, which was a huge relief for us at bedtime. The lady at the front desk was very warm and helpful. The breakfast, served individually, was delicious, and surprisingly, they serve it until noon! 👍 If you're not keen on eating out nearby, the B&B's menu is also excellent, so you don't have to worry about going hungry if you get back late. 👍 Overall, I'm very satisfied, and if I ever come back to Chongzuo, I'll definitely stay here again.

No complaints whatsoever, apart from the hot weather. The location is fantastic, and the environment is stunning – it truly felt like a scene out of the 'Wizard of Oz'. Jintan Beach is right downstairs, perfect for taking the kids to catch small crabs and collect seashells. However, compared to Yintan Beach, the water quality here is slightly inferior. On the bright side, Jintan offers better value for money, and most importantly, the sunsets here are absolutely breathtaking. The swimming pool downstairs is also excellent – clean and well-maintained. Dining options nearby are plentiful, and if you don't feel like going out, you can easily order food delivery to your room.

My stay at Miaozai Shanye Resort was fantastic! The overall vibe is a fresh, Instagram-worthy style that perfectly suited my taste. The rooftop water mirror and the massive pool create an amazing atmosphere for photos. Plus, there's a 1000-square-meter photography base where you can get free travel photos taken. I stayed in a 270° mountain view room, and the continuous mountain ranges outside the window offered such a comfortable view. The 300-square-meter indoor kids' playground meant the children could play freely, making it a stress-free trip for parents. The guesthouse is nestled in a valley, offering a quiet environment away from the hustle and bustle of West Street. There's no need to rush out; simply relaxing and unwinding at the resort is incredibly pleasant, really maximizing that vacation feel.

The environment here is great, right at the entrance of the ancient town but still quiet. The service attitude is excellent; when my baby wasn't feeling well, the staff went above and beyond to help. It's very suitable for families with kids. The waitress in the restaurant was also very kind, though the food itself was just okay. They have a viewing platform, an infinity pool, and a kids' play area. Overall, it's a good place and worth trying.

Best breakfast in China! Xiaoming was very helpful with anything we needed and very generous. There are e-scooters to use, which you really need. Guilin traffic is not for the feint heated though and this is certainly not the place to learn to ride an old e-scooter. At first I wondered why I had booked a place so far out of town but in the end, with the scooter it didn't really matter. The room has seen better days and the lack of ventilation means high humidity from the shower mist, meaning sweaty nights, which isn't good. Didn't like the fact the music was left on ALL night below in the breakfast room as you can hear it in the room!

The girls at the front desk were very enthusiastic. They knew that I was in a hurry to go out and made the wrong order, so they took the initiative to change the room. What a thoughtful service! There was no impatience at all during the whole process. It is indeed a well-known hotel here! It is worth it for this service! The room is clean and tidy, and it is also very quiet at night.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Like stepping into a landscape painting – the best choice for my Yangshuo trip! I did a lot of research for this Yangshuo trip and finally chose Xishi Manor (Yulong River Ten-Mile Gallery Branch). Honestly, it exceeded my expectations. 📍 Location is truly unbeatable. The hotel is about 150 meters east of Jima Pier. It's a three to five-minute walk to the pier, so you can sleep in and then head straight down to catch a bamboo raft on the Yulong River (the best section from Jima to Comprehensive Pier). You can rent a scooter right outside, and it's a 10-15 minute ride to the Ten-Mile Gallery and West Street. Guilin Romance Park is also very close. It offers flexible travel without being noisy. 🏡 Karst peaks right outside your window. I booked a mountain-view terrace king room. The floor-to-ceiling windows framed the distant mountains, clouds, and rice paddies perfectly. Waking up to birdsong in the morning and watching the mist slowly clear while still in bed was an indescribable feeling. The room is newly renovated in a French minimalist style, featuring smart voice control for the entire room, a smart toilet, a heated towel rack, and a super-large projector. The bedding was soft and skin-friendly – the kind of comfort where you just fall asleep after a day of exploring. 💦 1000㎡ Infinity Pool + 3000㎡ Large Lawn = Never wanting to leave. The pool faces the green mountains directly, and the water quality is excellent. The light is softest around 3-4 PM, making any pose look like a high-end French holiday photo. The large lawn is wonderfully soft. In the evening, sitting there and waiting for an 'orange sea' sunset 🌅, as the sunset glow enveloped the lawn, pool, and distant mountains in warm light – at that moment, I thought, ”This is how you should chill in Yangshuo.” 👩💼 Service and extra experiences add a lot of value. • Free ethnic-style travel photography upon check-in (3 retouched photos). The photographer will take you to various spots by the pool, on the lawn, and in the courtyard, with a high success rate for great shots. • Free afternoon tea daily at 3:00 PM, featuring handmade persimmon cakes with osmanthus tea. Sitting in the courtyard with the breeze is so therapeutic. • Breakfast from 8-10 AM, with freshly cooked Guilin rice noodles and both Chinese and Western options. • There's a children's play area downstairs, which is very convenient for families with kids. • Free parking with charging stations, and pet-friendly ♡ Small tip: During peak season, it's advisable to confirm the check-in cleaning progress with the butler in advance. The pool can get a bit crowded in the afternoon; if you want to take photos with reflections, go between 9-10 AM in the morning. Overall, Xishi Manor is not one of those 'looks good in photos but mediocre to stay in' influencer hotels. It's a resort hotel where the views, amenities, and service are all top-notch. If you want to slow down and not rush through attractions during your visit to Yangshuo – this is definitely the place for you. I'll be back next time! 🍊

My stay at the Courtyard Nanning Wuxiang was fantastic. The hotel is very new, and the room was spacious and clean. The large bed was super comfortable, and the bathroom had a great wet/dry separation with plenty of hot water. The front desk staff was efficient and provided attentive service. Breakfast offered authentic local dishes like 'Lao You Fen' (old friend noodles), and there was a wide variety to choose from. Parking downstairs was convenient, and there's a gym available. It's also very close to shopping and attractions, offering great value for money. This hotel is perfect for both business trips and leisure, and I'll definitely choose it again next time I'm in Nanning.

❗️❗️Check out my meticulously crafted review! Don't miss out! A very satisfying stay! I forgot to take photos inside the shop (so I'll just attach some scenery photos and a video I found on the homepage instead), but the room photos and videos are practically identical to the actual room! 🧓The owners are incredibly kind; everyone in the courtyard is very welcoming! Every time we went up or down the stairs, there were people from the shop, all smiling and chatting with us. After booking, they called to ask if we were driving, and they came out to pick us up after we arrived. Although there's no elevator, the owner helped us carry our luggage up and brought it down when we checked out! 🏠The room was very clean; they even provided disposable towels, bath towels, toilet seat covers, and even disposable razors—very thoughtful! The stay was incredibly comfortable! The courtyard downstairs even has a table; on a nice day, sitting down to eat and chat is so relaxing 😻. 🍼 We had a one-year-old with us, and he accidentally bumped his head around 1 or 2 AM. The owner rushed over and brought us an ice pack 😭 We were so grateful and touched! 🔒 The courtyard and downstairs have access control, so it's very safe! There's also an electric scooter rental shop right outside, and best of all, you can rent a shared scooter right at the door, with a return point right there! Super convenient! 🌆 It's very convenient to get anywhere by electric scooter; it only takes about ten minutes! And the river view is so pleasant every time we go out 😌

GGuest UserGet this hotel!!! We were supposed to stay for a night and then decide what to do - we ended up staying 3 nights and were very sad to leave. Every so often when you travel your hotel experience significantly improved your holiday - this was one of those cases! First of all the basics, we were looking for a nice family friendly hotel walking distance from the beach - and this certainly fit that category. The rooms are fine, you could see the sea from the windows, comfortable beds, pretty clean, slippers, plenty of towels, wifi everywhere etc. There was also a small playground for small kids and hammocks (picture) etc which was cool, we also saw mahjong tables, but didn't have the time to play. The hotel is located near a fairly large field, filled with exotic birds, butterflies and crickets etc. There were also geckos everywhere (love them), but we didn't see any inside the room. There were some mosquitos outside on the terrace (don't love them), but the repellent took care of those and we didn't have any in our rooms. Felt like you were near nature, in a good way. The kids loved to play on the beach, it's great for sand castles (the hotel had buckets and shovels free of charge) and searching for crabs, fish, shells, sea snails etc... The moms loved it too, especially to walk around and explore during low tide. (the hotel also provided equipment to catch crabs and other sea creatures etc if you wanted to - they also had a service to cook them for you) We especially enjoyed playing under a nearby pier during low tide to avoid getting badly sunburned. The supermarket across the street sell dozens of single malt whiskys and beer from all over the world (they also have ice cream and other stuff) - and the dads recommend the roof terrace for that after the kids are asleep. (picture) If you know how to ride a scooter/ebike they rent them across the road too, and it's the best way to explore the island. The small roads (almost devoid of cars) were awesome to drive on, just remember to stay safe. I don't usually care much about breakfast, but the included breakfast was great! (picture) The kitchen staff was also super laid-back about the whole thing - this whole hotel radiated a very laid back tropical island feel that made you forget you were in China. However the reason I write this review is because of the owner. (last picture) (I'm not sure if he speaks English though, but I'm sure you'll manage) Super chill guy! Immediately after booking he contacted us to arrange the transport from the boat. He helped us buy tickets for the trip back. He was willing to come and pick us up at any time if we got lost on the island. He had great recommendations about basically everything, and whenever we made plans we were sure to ask for his advice. He was basically always reachable over wechat too. These are just some of the things that he didn't have to provide, but did (or offered): unlimited cold drinking water, ice, proper glasses, a coffee grinder, buckets, shovels, hats, umbrellas, sunscreen, aloe vera plants, flashlights, mosquito repellent etc etc and it feels like we only scratched the surface. It feels like whenever I asked him for something he always had a solution that exceeded my expectations. Great host! I've traveled to almost 100 countries and while this wasn't the fanciest hotel I've stayed in by any means, this was one of the most memorable hotel experiences I've ever had. If anyone I know plans to visit this island I will for sure recommend this place.

YYanyongqianI arrived in Guilin from Kunming late after 12 am and there is no tourist information counter staff at the airport to tell me where to wait for the hotel's airport transfer driver. Fortunately an airline check-in counter officer helped me call the hotel to find out where to wait for the driver. Please note wait for the driver next to the police kiosk after leaving Gate 6 of the domestic arrival terminal and crossing the lane. It took me 15 minutes to identify the driver because the driver did not show the placard showing the hotel name Shanshuiyunshang Hotel. The driver was impatiently waiting for a foreign tourist. So I identified myself as a Singaporean looking for the transfer driver of the hotel. He replied that I can follow him, who did not declare the hotel's name. Thank God he brought a group of tourists and me to Shanshuiyunshang Hotel to check-in. I also thank God that the driver escorts me to the Airport Flower Field, which is 569 metres away from the hotel, for plane-spotting, and I walk back to the hotel within 10 minutes to check-out of the hotel for my outgoing trip from Guilin after completing my plane-spotting mission. Other than the hotel airport transfer driver, there is the odour of smoke in the room but I have to bear with it until I leave and I cannot access the hotel wifi by scanning the QR code. The hotel restaurant is very small but dragonfruit is served and the breakfast amount is sufficient to fill my hunger. Shanshuiyunshang Hotel is one of several hotels along the road of Liangjiang Town that has accommodation for tourists but this hotel is the only one in Liangjiang Town to be listed on Trip.com. I will stay here again for the purpose of plane-spotting in Liangjiang Town, the famous airport town of Guangxi.

GGuest UserI stayed at this hotel with my friends and it truly exceeded my expectations! Opening the window revealed the most stunning mountain views in Yangshuo. The room was spotlessly clean, and the amenities were all there and in great condition! The staff were all incredibly gentle and attentive. The breakfast was delicious, and in the evenings, they even offered warm, comforting 'goodnight noodles,' plus a really tasty afternoon tea! These little touches really make a difference. The environment is quiet and peaceful, surrounded by mountains and rivers, making it perfect for couples to enjoy a leisurely vacation. It's also great for taking photos, haha, definitely a good spot for all you beauties out there! And the bamboo raft dock I wanted to go to was right next door, super close, just a quick taxi ride! You can also see the Li River bamboo rafts if you take a walk nearby.

GGuest UserThis place has hands down been the most memorable stay we have ever had! As a couple traveling for the first time in China, Yukong, his family, and friends gave us a feeling of home and took care of us in a way we never experienced from a homestay. The house itself is build by Yukong's grandparents 70 years ago, and is placed in the middle of a Kiwi farm on the mountains outside Leye city. We shared great meals together every night in front of the fireplace with the boiling soup bowl at the center. Friends and family of the house even cared for bringing all sorts of classical Chinese instruments to the house to play traditional folk music for us - something we will never forget! Together we sang karaoke, drank rice wine, laughed and had great talks, despite of the language barrier. One could tell that our well being mattered to all of them, and that they wanted us to experience and understand their culture. Yukong and his brother even joined us for a hike in the nearby geopark and helped us with litterarly everything regarding planning and activities (which was so helpful, as none of us speaks Chinese). They took so much time off their hands to help us getting around and showed us the most wonderful local tourist attractions and great places to eat. The area has a lot to offer, and we were amazed that we seemed to have it all to ourselves. If you are in Guangxi, or anywhere else in China, for that matter, do yourself a favor and book a stay here. It is something you will remember for a long time. The nature, the culture, and especially the family you are gonna stay with, are wonderful.

GGuest UserAll in all an extremely pleasant stay! The location is absolutely stunning. Sure, it might be a little bit off the beaten track, but the views are all the more rewarding and the hiking path from Dazhai is also highly recommended. The hotel lobby also functions as a big living room and a little restaurant run by the owners. The food is excellent and well priced (definitely try their rice wine!). Because we were there in winter and it was cold, the owners even put a small radiator under our table to make it comfortable. Generally, the owners were super nice and friendly and adding their absolutely adorable puppy, we almost couldn't bring ourselves to leave. The rooms were very clean, have a small separate bathroom and we had a small balcony with view over the rice terraces. For a more budget option there is also rooms without AC or view, in that case you can still enjoy quite a bit of the scenery from the living room downstairs or just by exploring the surroundings on foot. (The picture is shot from our balcony, but sadly some of the view was obscured by the winter mist.) We will definitely try to come again sometime in summer and are already excited thinking about staying in this hotel again.

WWan SuwanThe location of the apartment is great, plenty of restaurants, 24hrs convenient stores around the building, short walking distance to Mira Mall & Sheng's Tiandi where you can find good supermarket & lots of nice restaurants & good food places. MixC Mall, Hang Yang City & Convention & Exhibition Center are in short distance taking taxi is ~CNY10-15 & convenient, as taxi stand is just right in front of the walk way to the building. The apartment building & the unit itself are old and don't have enough maintenance, they offer the kitchen but if staying less than a month, it's almost useless as they don't provide any of the kitchenware at all, except the electric kettle, not even the proper glasses nor utensils, only 2 daily paper cups in the bathroom. Room facilities & many little things in the unit are all run down & don't have proper maintenance like door knobs, handles, shower, kitchen taps, table, etc, cleanliness is not good enough, however, the bed sheets & bedding stuff are clean enough with no smell. They offer the daily cleaning, but just floor clean, no change of anything, no drinking water provided. The amenities are very basic & few, most are disposable, better bring your own, anyhow, some requests are well responsive like we request to change the kettle, cause it is out of order, 1 additional chair as they provide only 1 chair in the unit & laundry detergent. In overall, if you don't mind and can bare those run down facilities with not good enough maintenance, it is a value for money to stay in such location in good neighborhood.

MMooMooooWhat can I say.... AMAZING!! We stayed here for 2 nights and enjoyed both nights!! From when we first check in, the lady who checked us in, helped us with our suitcase and they are big one too! (note there is no elevator). To the lady that work at night and cook our yummy breakfast in the morning, thank you! We are both vegetarian, so she was always checking to make sure we can eat it. She was super friendly, talk to us and tell us what is nice to explore/play, and make sure we have enough food to eat! On the last day when we have to check out early as we have to catch the Li River Cruise, she make sure we have food to eat and that we can bring on the boat to eat as well. She was very thoughtful! The location is over the bridge about a 10 mins walk to ZhengYang Pedestrian Street. I prefer here as it more quieter rather than on the main street. Furthermore, it not that far, with only a 10 mins walk along the river and you will reach most places. I also loved the decor in the hotel as well, it has everything you need. They provided free snack, and we did try some too!! Good to try local snacks which we did end up buying when we saw it lol. You could also go up to the roof top, which will provide a 360 view, especially the view looking out to the Li River on a nice fine day is so worth it! Lastly, my mum left some of her belonging in the hotel and forgot to pack when we check out. They courier this to our next hotel in Yangshou, which is very thoughtful of them. Overall, I would definitely recommend anyone wanting to stay here.

MMantuzhiChecked in on the seventh day of the Chinese New Year. The price was around 400, which was great value for money. As soon as we entered the courtyard, there was an adorable alpaca, and my child was thrilled. The room and environment were both very nice, and the location was excellent. It's right off the main street with plenty of food options. You can rent an electric scooter at the entrance, and if you ride towards the back gate, you'll reach the Yulong River with beautiful scenery. A pleasant stay overall.
