The room decor was lovely and beautiful. However, there were two very serious issues: 1. The top floor supposedly had a paint smell, so they had the extractor fan on. The noise was incredibly loud, and nobody told me about it. After I called to ask, the fan was turned off, and the world became silent. Do they even consider their guests' comfort? 2. The shower drain noise was unbeatable. The sound of water gushing was louder than flushing a toilet. If someone showered at night, I felt like I was living in a waterfall.

The hotel's location is great, and the decor is really on point. The hygiene and environment are spotless, and the overall service is excellent. The mini-fridge was well-stocked with drinks. The only downside was breakfast. Many tables weren't set with cutlery. Guests would get their food and then have to wait for chopsticks, spoons, and forks – I've never encountered this before. This issue continued throughout the meal. I hope the restaurant pays more attention to this crucial detail, especially when it's busy and turning over tables for breakfast.

The hotel offers a stunning, unobstructed sea and river view from the front line, with floor-to-ceiling windows perfectly framing the seamless blend of river and sky, and the city lights at night. The room is clean and elegant, the bedding is comfortable, and the facilities are comprehensive and smart. The service is warm and attentive, and the breakfast is rich and delicious. Falling asleep by the river is a delightful and healing experience, making it an ideal choice for a relaxing vacation. Highly recommended!

Overall, I'm very satisfied. I was given a sea-view room with a great outlook. I had originally booked a room without breakfast through a third-party platform and thought my Hilton Honors membership would get me free breakfast, but I was told that the third-party booking couldn't be recognized for membership benefits. However, a staff member named Rainbow helped me arrange breakfast, which was fantastic! It's great value for money during the off-season, not crowded at all, the breakfast is plentiful, and the room is very spacious.

🌈 I used to always stay at Somerset, but this was my first time at Ascott, and the quality was definitely up to par. The room design was very well thought out, with a living room, bedroom, and bathroom, adding a sense of spaciousness and comfort to my trip. The facilities were excellent – fridge, washing machine, pots and pans, everything you could need. The night view was also beautiful. 🌟 The location is super convenient, with two subway lines right downstairs. It's less than a 30-minute direct ride to Zumiao Temple and Nanfeng Ancient Kiln, and only about 40 minutes to Guangzhou South Railway Station. 🤝 The only minor drawback is that children's breakfast costs extra and cannot be redeemed with Trip.com points. I hope this can be improved.

The facilities are great, and the hot springs are lovely. Towels were replenished promptly. The kids' play area is fantastic, with free archery and a mini-golf course for children. We didn't get to book the tennis courts because of the rain during the Qingming Festival. The parking lot also has charging spaces, and staff in the lobby were efficient in directing traffic, which was very convenient. Overall, I'm satisfied. The Chinese restaurant had good food, but it was a bit pricey and the portions were small. We ordered two servings of one dish, and it cost us almost 1,000 for two adults and two children. Mati, our butler, provided excellent service and even arranged for our forgotten swimsuits to be dried and mailed back to us.

This is my third time staying at this hotel. There are many similar establishments in the area, and rooms are randomly assigned across three buildings. This time, I was on the 2nd floor, so the view wasn't spectacular, but lower floors have their advantages, like not having to wait for elevators during peak hours. The room's amenities are well worth the 200+ price tag. However, if there aren't any exhibitions at the National Exhibition and Convention Center, it's really quiet around here – a hidden gem for budget travelers. Not much else to say, so I'll just share some photos to help you find your way (because of energy-saving measures at the subway station, you'll likely need to exit from C and take the stairs next to C2 up to the overpass. Cross the road, turn left, and you'll see what's in my first picture. Keep following the path in the photos until you reach ANOBOT, then follow that corridor, take the elevator down, and turn left. You'll then see what's in the 7th picture – I forgot to photograph the entrance itself. In the last picture, keep walking until you pass the second apartment building, and you'll quickly see it. The very last photo is its entrance.

The rooms were clean and well-maintained. The service was excellent, and the breakfast was delicious. It's very kid-friendly, with plenty of play areas for children. This is a top choice for families with young kids or elderly relatives. They also offer boat rides and a golf experience, making it a great spot for a relaxing vacation.

The room wasn't huge, but it was very clean and comfortable. They even upgraded our room for free when they found out we had a child, which was a nice touch. There's a washer and dryer available, and the parking lot is right downstairs, conveniently located by the road. Being on a higher floor meant we didn't have to worry about noise. It's super easy to get around, and the pedestrian street is only about a ten-minute walk away. Definitely recommend!

This was my first stay at this hotel, and I booked it specifically for the sea view. If you get a true sea view room, it's quite nice, but it also depends on the weather. On a sunny day, the sea looks even bluer and more transparent. Overall, the environment is pretty good and very quiet. The restaurant also serves delicious food. The main drawback is that the room decor is a bit dated. The Wanghai Wing is newer than the Nanhai Wing. I recommend prioritizing a sea view room in the Wanghai Wing.
