Overall I would say we enjoyed our stay, I was looking for a good place to bring my girl and treat her and She loved it!The staff was very friendly and the service was great. The location is pretty far but it’s quite worth it, the view from the balcony is amazing. So if you’re looking for a get away from the city this is the right place, it’s very quiet and peaceful.

It was a nice, clean and quite spacious apartment. The location was okay, you’re close to a metro station with 3 metro lines, but it still takes at least 20-30 min to reach the city center. In the apartment were no things to cook with (even though there is an induction plate), no cutlery and no plates or cups. Something we expected in an apartment and also a reason for us to choose an apartment.

The house is spacious, with pleasant scenery. The hawthorn fruits are red and round. The children have a lot of fun playing with various vegetables, peppers and pumpkins in the vegetable garden. It is very close to the Badaling Great Wall and the Shuiguan Great Wall. There are trampolines and swings in the yard. The boss is very nice and said that you can pick hawthorns at will. This hotel is absolutely amazing if you want to spend longer than a few hours at The Wall. It’s nestled just at the bottom of the cable car area. Despite not speaking English the staff went out of their way to help us and service was great. We had two young kids with us and the hotel is super family friendly. The playground is awesome! Food in restaurant was wonderful and we would recommend this place to anyone. The only issue we had was that our didi (taxi) refused to take us any further up the mountain and left us 1.5 miles away due to road closures for CNY - so we had to get an unexpected shuttle bus which was a faff - it would have been great to know about this prior.
