I usually have a good time at the resort and stayed a couple of times. This time from the start, there were a few things:
I had asked reception because we were going early, to have the breakfast boxes for the kids early to take at 5:30.
When we got to the restaurant in the evening it took a while to be served.
When we got the kids in the shower, there were no towels and when we phoned it took a while.
We also phoned to ask for normal milk as my child can’t have creomora and they said they would bring but never did.
Then our taxi driver let us down so I called reception to book an airport shuttle in the morning and she said she would call back but never did. Eventually after I called back, they got back to me with results. Didn’t tell me the price though.
When we checked out at 5:30, they didn’t have the breakfast boxes. And told us our taxi was K400 per head!
So all in all, wasn’t a great one.

Enjoyed our stay here
This old hotel is kept clean
Enjoyed the Buffet breakfast
The staff is very attentive. Just ask and all will be sorted superfast. They would ask whether our needs were being met during our stay.
Its location on Cairo Road makes it easy to visit some of Lusakas iconic sites i.e. the National Museun, Culural Village, and various markets. Area around hotel felt safe.
My thanks to all the staff esp. Reception Luckson and Charity and Mercy in dining area

HanjunJUN haicuhui | lankaStaying at a Chinese-owned hotel is just so convenient. They offer airport transfers and have Chinese food available. The area seems pretty safe, and the room is spacious enough. They even have massage services. Don't compare it to standards in China; you have to consider the local conditions. Thumbs up!

The best thing about this hotel is its location. Literally behind the parliament fence. Which means relative peace, quiet at night and 24-hour security. The spacious green area with a swimming pool is a romantic place for breakfast, work or just doing nothing. The guest rooms are not the most outstanding, but they have everything you need these days, although without toiletries. Two rolls of paper are the maximum decoration of the bathroom. But there is a refrigerator, TV, wardrobe, table, bedside table. Live and enjoy, if you are not afraid of periodic power outages, water, Internet (usually short-term). But that's what Africa is for.

Guest User🌿The cleaner’s ingenuity and dexterity help clean up the dirt of life bit by bit, allowing the sunlight to shine through the window and fill the entire room. Hygiene is not just a superficial effort, but also a life attitude and cultivation. (๑˃̵ᴗ˂̵)و✧*。

My stay in the Garden King Room at the Venice Hotel in Lusaka was truly comfortable. The room was spacious and bright, very clean, and the bed was just the right firmness for a restful sleep. The outdoor garden was a pleasant place to sit. The front desk staff were welcoming and provided excellent service. The breakfast was plentiful, offering both Chinese and Western options to meet my needs. Their restaurant also served very good food, making it convenient for entertaining guests. This is my top choice for accommodation in Lusaka, and I will definitely stay here again.

I enjoyed everything at this hotel. The room was sizeable for a solo traveler. The bedding was just amazing...! I slept very very well. I am curious about their mattress brand, I want to buy it....! The breakfast spread was great. Healthy salads and changing buffet spreads everyday. I did not manage to use the fitness center and swimming pool on the Intercontinental side, but it was nice to have the option. The front office accomodated my very early checkout - 5am, and even organized with the kitchen for a breakfast baggie. There is taxi service to the airport but I did not use it.

Rizwan 122I had a great stay! The host was very kind and even offered complimentary airport pickup and drop-off, which I really appreciated. The host made breakfast himself and was delicious and a lovely touch. Overall, everything was comfortable, and the hospitality was excellent. I would definitely stay here again!

Guest UserDidn’t realise before booking that this is a Chinese-operated hotel aimed I would imagine at hosting the local Chinese workforce. All TV channels were in Chinese, breakfast was Chinese food, coffee machine instructions were in Chinese. However, the staff were all Zambian and extremely helpful. Supposed to be a no-smoking hotel but it smelled strongly of cigarettes in our corridor. Bathroom kept smelling like a ‘wet dog’. No facilities in the hotel but luckily a great bar and restaurant next door.
