"I always stay at Monarch Hotel when I am in the area on business. Beds are clean and comfortable for provincial standards. Room is spacious, bathroom is clean although toiletries could be improved. Food during breakfast is adequate, coffee is surprisingly brewed and not instant. They have gym and a pool for a quick exercise. I would recommend this hotel when staying in Pangasinan. So far it is the best hotel around Dagupan -Calasiao area."

"There’s a lot say, let me break it down for ya’ •The location was accessible, just located at the main highway. •They have resto in the hotel, food was good and affordable. •Staff were approachable and accommodating. •The room was surprisingly clean and had hot water in the shower Cons • The blanket is thin, if you get cold easily you better bring an extra blanket. • Breakfast is simple and a little bit oily or greasy. • Kinda far away from the tourist spots but if you have car or rented one, it will not be a problem for you. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay here. I will definitely book here again in the future 🫶🏻"

"I had a very satisfying stay here! The hotel's location is excellent, making it easy to get around, and there are plenty of dining and shopping options nearby. The front desk staff were warm and attentive, and both check-in and check-out were very efficient. The room was clean and tidy, the bedding was comfortable, and the soundproofing was good, allowing for a great night's sleep. The bathroom was odor-free and well-stocked with toiletries. Breakfast offered a wide variety of choices and tasted great. Overall, the atmosphere was cozy and comfortable, and it offered great value for money. I would definitely choose this hotel again and recommend it to friends."

"The Swim Room offers a great view and semi-private pool. However, we stayed during the weekday so it seems like we had the pool exclusively to ourselves. Rated 3 stars for cleanliness because the tissue on our bedside table has that undesirable smell. Glass sliding doors are not regularly wiped clean because there are still marks left maybe from past guests. On a positive note, I'd like to commend the staff for their warm welcome and immediate response and action whenever they are called upon. Moreover, we loved the food served to us for our supper brought to our room up to our buffet breakfast. They have lots of food choices and different types of drinks. Also, the pool is well-maintained but I hope they clean it earlier before guests are allowed to swim. Overall, we had our money's worth during our stay at Hudor Resort."

"I liked the hotel, my room, and the beach was great however it had a feeling that it was descending into decrepitude. The gym was very shabby. There was no central bar or shared lounge area to mingle (temporarily closed). To get a drink I had to go into the Chinese restaurant which was then impossible to work on my laptop with a casual drink as I had intended. At breakfast it was quite possibly the worst coffee I've ever had and the eggs were also dubious. Toast was make your own but there was no toaster - only some grilling oven that would take 10 minutes to make your toast - less than ideal once you had already put your food on your plate...."

"The place was so nice! Our stay was definitely a 10/10. The staff were very accommodating and friendly, and the room was spacious and comfortable. "Good -Park like setting, pet friendly, many nice pools to use. Couple villa has own little pool surrounded by plants for privacy. Air-conditioned room. Warm shower water, local drinking water provided. Eating area inside room, ref and sink. Gated entry with gate guard. Provided breakfast, portions are local but quite filling. Plenty of onsite parking (watch out for coconuts above car). Golf cart with driver available but the walk is really short and mostly flat. Toothbrush and amenities provided. Ants and bugs are typical so not an issue (bug spray recommended for foreigners). Employees welcoming and very responsive and well groomed. Room service (took for all meals). Bad -lack of food menu in room with room service offered, housekeeping called Butler but not. Provided cell phone with load, load expired initially. Updates every 6 hours to phone via text message. 80% of time housekeeping could not be reached. Menu once either found on web site or brought to door many things not available and size of portion not clear. Food cold sometimes upon delivery and or not taste very good, food service is slow. Bar soap provided is nice but small (cut down from a larger bar). A bit of a drive to anything else nearby and not much else found to do here. Ugly -Breakfast order lost on last day to check out, was placed 6PM in person at door night before. If had not called would not have been provided (since we had pet with us, opted for room service) Housekeeping light not working at front door to make up room. Ref compressor noise. Sometimes arcing / hum noise coming from electrical panel. Expectation of vacationer not in alignment with profit margin site manager is attempting to generate from each stay. You are left with a feeling of overpaying for a level of service that was lacking and this felt in relation to how the business just seems to be run. Arrival was overwhelming (good) but departure needs improvement."
